SpassmitPflanzen I'm starting a new attempt in the Pikendi Box from Bonsanto, after my last plant unfortunately got too big for the box and couldn't handle the corresponding hard LST during flowering (it was a Blueberry Zkittlez Auto from Sensi Seeds in a 3.2L pot). Now I'm going with a Monster Dwarf Automatic from Zamnesia, which was the smallest interesting strain I could find. Based on the experience from last time, I'm trying to keep it in a 1-liter Air Pot (I know it's upside down) and train it as little as possible. The lighting will initially run for 24 hours, and I'll reduce it to 18 hours in 2-3 weeks depending on growth. I'm curious to see if it works out!

SpassmitPflanzen She makes a good impression, in my opinion. I've watered her twice with 100 ml of rainwater without fertilizer. The light is still continuously on. I think it's going well so far.
Update 11/07: Looks like I might have overwatered her a bit, I guess I still need to get used to the small pots and will take a watering break.

SpassmitPflanzen Unfortunately, she doesn't look good at all. I probably misjudged the watering amount in the small pot.
I still have space in my other box and will keep her for a bit longer, even though I don't really have high hopes that she'll turn out well.
In the picking box, I've already started something new; I'm not giving up!

SpassmitPflanzen What can I say, she's a little fighter and is actually going into flowering. Let's see if she makes it. I'm trying to continue giving her a peaceful life 😉

SpassmitPflanzen She's still alive and continues to develop little buds. She's showing signs of deficiency, probably due to the limited storage capacity in the small pot, let's see how that settles down.

SpassmitPflanzen So the goal of keeping the plant as small as possible in the 1L pot seems to be working 😂 it's really tiny, but somehow I like it!

SpassmitPflanzen The little dwarf is now running without any problems. I would say it has settled in well.

SpassmitPflanzen Everything is running smoothly now. I water regularly with small amounts based on feel. The buds are gradually increasing, and so is the smell.

SpassmitPflanzen Slowly but surely, this educational grow is coming to an end. The trichomes are slowly turning milky, but I'm still waiting for amber. I suspect it might need another 1-2 weeks.

SpassmitPflanzen I've also put my little dwarf through a little drought, and he'll be harvested in the next few days. He already has a practical format.
SpassmitPflanzen The tree has fallen… poor Knut.
It was a fun, educational grow for me. The plant had to endure quite a bit and handled the circumstances well. I'm satisfied with the result and I'm already looking forward to the first taste; the smell while trimming was very promising, and now it’s in the DryFerm Bag.
In the coming days, I’ll be starting a new 1L grow, just for fun. Let’s see how that goes.
Good luck with the grow!
As a tip, try to bend them from the end of the second week to keep them small.
A small net can help you keep them at a height (SCROG).
Never start with it in the flower;)
I’ll take a look in the next few weeks!
@ZackOne, thanks, I'm also curious. This is the 3rd attempt, let's see if it works this time. The 1st try had a pest invasion, and the 2nd one the plant was too big...
I have a 2nd setup with a 40x40x120 box. An update on this will come in the next few days.
Exactly, don't give up, I've also had some plants hit the wall. Is your Hesi fertilizer a mineral fertilizer? If so, have you measured the EC? I've switched to Greenhouse Feeding long-term fertilizer and now I only pour in pH-adjusted tap water. No problems so far. How big is your pot? They say a maximum of 10% of the pot volume as watering. That's 380ml for me. I only water that when I notice the plant can actually use it.
@ZackOne, yes, the Hesi is mineral-based. I previously grew 2 plants with the BioTabs set, but in 8l pots, which I can also highly recommend. The Monster Dwarf is in a 1l pot, I water a maximum of 100ml and only when the top part is dry. But with the small pot, it might be better to water more often and then just 50ml. We'll see. It was also very warm in the box, she seems to be settling in a bit in her new home. I will definitely check out the Greenhouse Feeding, thanks for the tip!
