Germination

Growhome_90 October 19: Today was the day. After about 21 hours in the Zewa, the Purple Lemonade FF was ready to be planted. I mixed seedling soil with a bit of Rootmax for this. Normally, I would put it in the hole when transplanting, but since the seedling is still so small, I opted for this method. In parallel with the germination, I prepared the final pot. The Livingsoil is active and has been enriched with Herbi Starter and worm humus.

Growhome_90 October 26: So far, the first days have gone well. You can see the first roots at the edge of the pot. A few days later, I moved them to a larger pot. Now they get some Organic Mix from Floragard before they can move into the Living Soil in their final pot. 😄🌱

Growhome_90 09/11: So far, she has grown well. The cold temperatures are slowing her down a bit. She was also topped this week. She handled it super well.

Growhome_90 23/11 The light has been switched to 12/12. The plant is growing and shows no signs of sex yet. Meanwhile, the 2nd plant has been removed from the tent because it turned male after the switch. This will get interesting as we go along.

Growhome_90 30/11: The flowering is now in full swing. The buds are getting denser and the first nodes are showing beautiful, compact formations. The plant continues to grow steadily, the structure remains clean and straight. In terms of color, everything is still a vibrant green, but you can already see how the flowers are slowly gaining more mass. This week, the focus was mainly on controlling the leaf mass and keeping the lower area clear for light and air so that the buds develop evenly.

Growhome_90 06/12: This week, I consistently did some lollipopping, especially on the lower third of the plant. In one of the pictures, you can see what's called "bananas" – the plant slightly hermied in the lower area. The affected spots were completely removed, and after that, there were no new signs. Since the plant otherwise looked very healthy and was alone in the tent, I consciously took the risk and kept it. After the lollipopping, the structure looks significantly more open, and light and air are now reaching the buds better. Overall, despite the brief herming, it gives a stable impression and has continued to develop calmly afterwards. Edit: I suspect that the plant hermied due to too much stress from light during the dark phase. It was in the tent with Jon Snow, who also turned male, and after the issue, I changed the tent, and it has been growing free of herming since then.

Growhome_90 12/14: In week 8, you can clearly see how the buds are filling out and starting to become rounder. The colas are significantly increasing in volume, and the trichome development looks more intense than in the previous weeks. The light deprivation of the lower buds has also been resolved well – light and air are now reaching deeper into the plant. The leaf color remains stable, and the buds are starting to show more structure. This is the point where the plant is really producing "food for the harvest.

Growhome_90 21/12: In week 9, we're clearly entering the final phase of flowering. The buds have continued to gain volume and now appear significantly more compact. Thanks to the early topping, there are several equally sized main buds that are developing evenly, without a dominant main cola standing out. The flowers are well distributed. Trichome production is visibly increasing, especially on the sugar leaves. Color-wise, it still shows predominantly green, but the first slight signs of ripeness are noticeable. Since the lollipopping, no new bananas have appeared, and the plant continues to run stable and without any further issues.

Growhome_90 28/12: In week 10, the flowering continues to develop, the buds are slightly increasing in volume and remain healthily compact. The trichomes are mostly clear, and the hairs are slowly starting to change from white to a light brown – a clear sign that the plant still needs time to mature. Color-wise, the first nuances are now appearing in the flowers: green tones remain dominant, while some sugar leaves are taking on slight golden or reddish hues. This already gives the plant a bit more depth and structure in the canopy.
