FlowerForYou 31/10/2025: This time I germinated the beans directly in low nutrient potting soil, which seems to be working nicely! 4/5 of them popped even though I had them in the fridge for almost two years! FlowerForYou 12/11/25: Ok I gotta admit I kind of neglected this grow as well as the diary a lil bit, but I'm back and ready to get things on track! I think germinating in cheap supermarket soil was not the best idea...the seedlings are barely growing and looking really sad at this point. My guess is that the pH is off and I am thinking about repotting to better soil in order to fix things 🤔 13/11/25: Ok so I finally transferred them into 3.5L pots vor veggie and hope they finally get back on track 😬 18/11/25: Ok we are back! Plants are still in recovery but already praying to the sun again ☀️

I'm sure I can fill out the tent anyway 👍🏼 14/07/25: Repotted to 7 L final pot sizes which I added an biotab and some biobloom powder (greenhouse) so they are hopefully good for the next 8-10 weeks of growth ☀️

FlowerForYou 28/12/25: Came back to a nice dense jungle after 8 days of Christmas holidays and the dripping system worked out really good. I gave them a little defoliation to expose side branches and immediately switched to flower so these bests don't outgrow the tent!

The plants easily doubled in size already since I switched to flower and the stretch is still not finished it seems...at some point my tent will be to small, so I hope that they are getting into their final form now! I did some heavy defoliation of lower leaves and branches to bring down humidity to an acceptable percentage and focus growth on the tops. Other than this everything is looking good.

Goddamn these sativas are really something different! Now the scrog really becomes to look good and the tent is filled with budsites...this upcoming week I will need to add some more organic bloom nutrients, let's see which one it will be 😁

Gave them a final topdressing ~3g/L with "cuxin orgasan" which is some random ass agricultural organic fertilizer with a NPK of 6-6-9. To come up for low P I also added some organic phosphate to hopefully boost flowering!

I gave them a last little defoliation to get more light penetration but other than that there is not much to do from now on! Also different phenos are now showing since the flowers have some differences in regard to colour and smell! I will give a detailed description after harvest in approximately 5-6 weeks!

FlowerForYou 11/02/26: Slowly we are getting somewhere with this grow! The smell is really strong, hard to describe it though, definitely fruity. Buds should hopefully thicken up and push more trichomes for the last month of flowering! My favourite pheno is the one at the front left which has the biggest colas and some really nice colours going on. I am not really sure whether I should defoliate one last time and take off more fan leaves from the top to give better light penetration for the last week's of flowering or if I should leave them on to have a bigger light harvesting canopy. I guess you will see next week how I decided!

Just from the looks it's hard to believe that all these plants are just different phenos from the same strain but I guess Laughing Buddha has some serious variations going on. The one at the front left is getting more and more purple color, I love it! Also I did not defloliate, since humidity is ok and I don't want to stress them any more! I guess end of next week I can start checking some trichomes 😁👍🏼

FlowerForYou 25/02/26: Its already the middle of the ninth week of flower and to my untrained eye the buds are looking really ripe! Lot of red mature pistils are visible and in terms of bud growth not to much changes were visible in the last week. However there is no senescence in terms of leaves turning yellow and they are also still really thirsty! For that reason I didnt even bother to start checking trichomes and now giving them a last push with a flower booster (plaron green sensation) to hopefully get max terpene production in the last week's before harvest! I also made some flash pics so you can really see the dark purple color of one pheno! 01/03/26: Made some trich pics today of the purple and green pheno in the front of the tent! Clearly the purple plant is further ahead in flowering and already shows the first amber trichomes in the top colas. However there is still sooo much clear trichs on the green pheno, so they will have at least one more week frmo today on!

FlowerForYou 06/03/26: I had a super busy week and couldn't really pay a lot of attention to the plants but they also didn't require any to be honest. Buds are still developing a lil bit, especially the green sativa pheno in the front is pushing some nice foxtails, always a pleasure! Also autumn has started in the jungle and the leaves are starting to fade a little! I will check trichomes on Sunday and if they look good they will go down in 2 days! 08/03/26: Today its exactly 70 days since i switched to 12/12, however i can still see loads of clear trichomes on the sativa pheno. The purple one looks done though...since i dont have a seperate drying space i need to harvest all of the plants together and will probably aim for next weekend, lets hope that the sativa plant is done by then! 🤞🏼

FlowerForYou 11/03/26: Last week for these four Buddha's, and the smell is getting really intense! Strong citrus and fruity terps, that make me excited about the final outcome! Other than that there is not much more to report on, the purple fellow is pushing more nanas as if she wants to tell me that it's about time. Sunday I will do one last trichome check and then probably a wet trim on the buds. I also included a pic of one of the lower 'popcorn' buds of the Sativa which basically only shows foxtails and nothing else...really interesting to see this for the first time!

Happy Harvest Day!

15/03/26: Harvester today after exactly 77 days (11 weeks) of flowering these Buddha's! I kind of forgot to do some money shots, but will update with some nice photos of the dried and cured buds in the future! Second time I did wet trim since I wanted to use the dryfermbags I got for my last grow. I really love the strain from the smell and ease of growing, however I gave -1 star since I really had a great variety in phenos. The sative pheno which produced all the foxtails in the end has a wonderful pleasant smell like exotic fruits and is also a good yielder! The purple pheno goes into the direction of berry/cherry smell which I also really enjoyed while trimming. Third plant has a intense rubbery/gassy smell to it and the last plant is really weak with only mild aromas...maybe this one will show after curing. All together I am really happy, however if I would have gotten the sative pheno only it would be 11/10 for me!
