ismelldayhikers Still chugging along. Lots of new growth at day 17 for the straw guava. And stupidly I planted the gummi bears about a week behind. Iām still top watering both and everything is looking healthy I think. I read somewhere to keep the mulch cover off until the plant reaches the sides of earthbox. Iām also getting a couple ecowitt sensors in the mail this weekend so I should have a better idea of whatās going on down below as far as moisture goes

ismelldayhikers Been a wild week. I filled the rez a few days ago now. I was a paranoid about them not drinking it so I soaked the corners to create wick and put the mulch covers on. I think I ended up over watering them a bit because the plants were very droopy. Since I removed the mulch covers things have started to bounce back. Still have not watered since filling the rez. I can see the soil is still moist so Iām going to back off. The plants have started to severely droop nightly. Iāve heard thatās common and they are in circadian rhythm but itās been making me watch them like a hawk.
