Xpie77 Grow Diary – Sweetopia (Paradise Seeds) Week 4 Vegetative Phase (day 28 from germination) – 2 plants Update: Transplanted to 11-liter pots + BestVA BP4000/Pro4000 LED @ 415W Type 🌱 Sweetopia – Paradise Seeds Overall Status 📈 From ±20 cm → now 38–45 cm Growth is really exploding now! After the transplant to 11L and the upgrade to the BestVA 415W Pro series (Samsung diodes, dimmable, Meanwell driver), the plants are taking off like a rocket. Bushy structure, short internodes, lots of new side branches pushing through. No stretching, everything looks thick and green. Environment 🌡️ Day 25–27 °C Night 20–21 °C RH 58–63 % VPD 1.0–1.2 kPa Extra oscillating fan + clip fan on medium due to more heat from the 415W lamp – cooling well under control. Light 💡 BestVA BP4000/Pro4000 @ 415W (18/6 schedule, dimmed to 70–80% for veg) Distance to canopy 45–50 cm (still hanging high to acclimate after upgrade) PPFD estimated 700–950 µmol/m²/s at canopy (not measured exactly yet, but feels much stronger than the old 100W) Full spectrum with Veg mode on – leaves are wide open and components green. Training ✂️ LST further refined → canopy nice and flat and often round. FIM/topping done on day 24–25 → new side tops exploding. 12–16 strong main branches per plant. Stems now stronger and sturdier (thumb thickness almost), perfect for the recommended stretch. Health ✅ Dark green, thick sturdy leaves – growing like crazy. No plates, no deficiencies, no signs after lamp/pot upgrade. Tropical sweet smell stronger when writing – plants seem more energetic and fuller. Height end of week 4 📏 Plant 1 → 38 cm Plant 2 → 45 cm With the 11L pots and the powerful BestVA 415W Pro LED (much better penetration and output than the old setup), Sweetopia is building a monster structure. Strain 🌱 Sweetopia – Paradise Seeds Overall Status 📈 From ±20 cm end of week 3 → now 38–45 cm at flip Growth was explosive this week thanks to the larger pots and the powerful 415W BestVA. Plants are bushy, with short internodes and 12–16 strong side branches per plant. Flipped to 12/12 today – first pistils already visible on a few nodes (pre-flower signs). Expect minimal stretch (10–20% max, typical for this mostly indica strain). Everything looks super healthy, ready for the flowering phase! Planten staan nu op 48–58 cm vanaf potrand. Bud sites zwellen mooi op, overal witte pistils die dikker en talrijker worden. Eerste suikerblaadjes krijgen zichtbare trichomen. Geur bouwt snel op: zoet citrus, mango en een lichte fuel/hasy ondertoon – heerlijk tropisch! Buds are swelling significantly, becoming hard and compact. Sugar leaves are almost completely covered with trichomes. Pistils are largely turning brown/orange. The smell is intense: sweet tropical fruit (mango/pineapple), citrus, and a heavy gas/hash undertone – the tent already smells wonderful when you walk in!
