Beanfiendz Caddy Runtz & Neon Icon

burnout 2 of the Caddy Runtz sprouted after a week in the soil, one Neon Icon popped up with the seed shell. It's on there pretty tight, have been moistening it with water. Going to give the others 14 days then I'm going to try some other seeds.

burnout It has been cold in the grow room, slow growth. Looking OK though watering every few days 50 ml each.

burnout Start of week 3, day 15 after sprout. Raised lamp to 24 in and 80% intensity. Tad bit over watered, weight of cups feels very light, think it's the cold temps at night that is retarding growth. Replaced the old heating mat with a new one, hope that helps.

burnout Transplanted into boxes. Plants looking pretty droopy, haven't been watering too much, probably still from colder temperatures. Put a half cup of B.A.S. Craft Blend around each plant.

burnout Two Caddy Runtz in the back, three Neon Icon in the front. No transplant shock and the plants are growing well over the last week. Last week I sprayed the soil as it was layered into each box with one gallon of water mixed with a 1/2 teaspoon Recharge. I watered once over the last week with 12 ounces of water, that was to help soak the Craft Blend and get that into the soil better.

burnout Topping branches on the neon icon plants, growing much faster than caddie runtz. Last week top watered 1/2 gallon each. Added one gallon of water to the reservoir mid week, all neon icon tanks were dry in a few days. Top watered one gallon today with Epsom salt and recharge, will fill one gallon to reservoirs mid week

burnout Going an extra couple of weeks in vegetation, the local grow store was out of the top dress for flower, will top dress at the end of the week, then flip next week

burnout Top dressed and switched to flowering. Moved the plants around, two in back and one on right are neon icon, left and center are caddy runtz.

burnout Start of day 14 of flower. Still stretching and plants are happy. Next week will be doing major defoliation and taking cuts. Picked up spider farmer GlowR 80, these are at 40 watts each at 650nm red light . I remember reading about side and under lighting way back in the early 90s in Ed Rosenthal's grow book but never attempted it. These are very bright and torched my bare eyes when I glanced at them. Don't have room on the sides in this tent so I'll put them under the canopy once I give the plants haircuts in a few days, hopefully that will add a little bump to the popcorn.

burnout Start of day 21 of flower, cleared out the growth under the trellis and removed a lot of fan leaves on the canopy to make some more room for smaller budding sites and for airflow. Going to get another set of the SpiderFarmer GrowR 80 red light strips for better coverage.

burnout Flower day 28. Buds starting to stack well on the Neon Icon plants, could be a little better on the Caddie Runtz. Had some very warm weather over the last week and was struggling with keeping the humidity down, VPD was peaking at 2, way too high. Temps went down so looking good at the moment.

burnout Day 35 chugging along. Adding 2 gallons of water to reservoir mid week with 1 teaspoon coconut powder per gallon. Top watering weekly with one gallon water mixed with 1 teaspoon build a bloom, 1/2 teaspoon recharge, 2 oz peach ferment.

burnout Start of week 6 day 42. Neon Icon #1 and #3 starting to mature with darkening pistils, #2 still all white hairs. Caddy Runtz plants still are maturing. Top watered again each with one gallon water mixed with 1/2 teaspoon Recharge, 1 teaspoon build a bloom, and 2 oz peach ferment. Added two gallons water with 1 teaspoon coconut powder to each reservoir, will do that again mid week. This may be the last week of feeding build a bloom and ferment, will see how they look next week, possibly one more week.

burnout Flower day 49. Reduced light to 80%. Top watered one gallon each with half teaspoon recharge per gallon, stopping feed with build a bloom and ferment. Reservoir uptake has slowed down, added one gallon to each reservoir Peek at trichomes looks mostly cloudy. Will hopefully be harvesting in two weeks.

burnout Photos from day 56 of flower. I have been in the hospital for an unexpected surgery, my wife has been watering during my absence and her phone camera isn't very good. Not much of a fade. I'll be home soon to check on the trichomes.

burnout Day 64. Got a lot of fade on the neon Icon #1, trichomes mostly cloudy on all plants. Finishing up now

burnout I've been out of commission recovering from surgery. Cut down all plants at day 72 of flowering. Had all cloudy trichomes with about 10% amber. I had reduced the light to 60% last week, also stopped watering the week prior. Felt like the terps were starting to fade. Dry weight: #1 200. This pheno picked up a lot of the boof traits #2 176. Smells the skunkiest of the three #3 151. This plant has the permanent marker smell. A little harsh after 2 weeks of dry and no cure.

burnout Dry weight #1 99. Small plant, faint candy smell, tastes sweet and skunky #2 130. Very strong candy smell and taste, very good
