HandsomeTerpz Frosted Skoochie โ Mendo Dope Farms Week 2
------------------------------------------------------Indoor grow
Light-Mix soil with perlite & worm humus
18/6 light cycle (LED)
0.5 L pot size
Day temperature: 27 ยฐC

Watering: ~0.125 L per plant / 24h
Plant height: ~10 cm
-----------------------------------------------------
The first week was honestly not easy at all.
The plants barely grew at the beginning and clearly struggled with the room climate. In hindsight, the main issue was simply too much LED light for such young seedlings. They reacted quickly, with leaves turning very light green to yellow, showing clear signs of light stress and nutrient imbalance.
To counter this, I adjusted my approach. I started using Boom Boom Spray by BioTabs more frequently to help support the plants during recovery. In addition, I had to supplement a small amount of Cal-Mag, as deficiency symptoms became visible.
After dialing things back and giving the plants some time, they slowly began to respond better. Growth has picked up again, leaf color is improving, and the plants are adapting much better to the environment now.
This week already looks more promising compared to the rough start. It was a good reminder that less light is often better in early veg, especially when running strong LEDs.
There is still some recovery ahead, but overall they are back on track.

------------------------------------------------------------
Week 3 shows a clear improvement compared to the rough start.
Overall, the plants have fully recovered from the early stress and are now growing healthy and vigorous again. Leaf color has stabilized, structure looks strong, and growth rate is consistent.
One plant is still showing slightly dried leaf tips, most likely leftover stress from the earlier issues or minor environmental fluctuation. However, it does not seem to affect overall development, and the plant is otherwise doing well.
The environment now feels well dialed in, and the plants are clearly responding positively. Because of the healthy growth and increasing size, it is time for the next step.
The plants will be transplanted into the AutoPot system very soon, which should support more stable feeding and even better growth moving forward.
All in all, this week feels like a real turning point. The grow is back on track, and Iโm looking forward to seeing how Frosted Skoochie performs in the AutoPot setup.

HandsomeTerpz Week 5
--------------------------
Of veg and Frosted Skoochie is now clearly showing its direction ๐๐ฅ
After handling the transplant into the final 12-L pot very well, this strain is now growing steadily and consistently. Growth is compact, internodal spacing stays tight, and leaf structure looks strong and healthy ๐๐ช
The BioTabs system, supported by Bactrex & Ocratex, keeps the root zone active and balanced. The living substrate is clearly doing its job, resulting in smooth, stress-free development ๐ฑ
Any minor nutrient fluctuations were easily managed using Boom Boom Spray ๐โจ. Frosted Skoochie reacts quickly and shows full leaf tension again shortly after application.
Compared to Black Mamba and Mend, Frosted Skoochie sits right in the middle genetically:
Not as tough as Black Mamba, but more forgiving than Mend โ a very pleasant and manageable strain ๐
Current conditions (based on setup & image data):
โข ๐ก๏ธ 27 ยฐC day / 23 ยฐC night โ consistently optimal
โข ๐ง 75 % humidity โ ideal for this veg stage
โข ๐ก 18/6 light cycle, lamp distance approx. 35 cm (400 PPFD)
โข ๐ Plant height around 25 cm
โข ๐ฑ Pot size: 12 L (final)
โข ๐ฟ 1 L water per plant / 24 h, pH stable in veg range
Conclusion:
๐ Frosted Skoochie is developing calmly, evenly.
Perfect conditions for finishing veg strong and moving smoothly into the flowering phase ๐ฅ๐ธ

HandsomeTerpz The Frosted Skoochie from Mendo Dope Farms is currently showing very clearly how well it has recovered in its final pot with fresh substrate and nutrients. Since transplanting into the 12 liter pot, overall growth appears more stable, leaf color has improved and the plant shows noticeably increased vigor.
The plant is in week six of the vegetative phase and stands at around 30 centimeters in height. The light cycle is set to 18 hours on and 6 hours off. Daytime temperature is approximately 27 degrees Celsius with night temperatures around 23 degrees. Humidity is about 75 percent. Lighting is provided by an Array 4x4 LED, ventilation by a 6 inch inline fan with carbon filter. The medium consists of BioBizz Light Mix combined with perlite and worm humus. The plant was topped in week 5.
One important characteristic of this strain that should not be underestimated is its fragility. Branches and especially young shoots snap very easily, even when handled carefully. Any training, bending or defoliation requires a gentle approach and extra attention. Supporting branches when needed is strongly recommended.
The photos show the plant before and after defoliation. After removing excess foliage, the structure looks more open and organized, allowing the plant to direct its energy more efficiently into the remaining growth. Despite its sensitive genetics, the plant handled the defoliation well, which is a very encouraging sign moving forward.
Conclusion
Strong recovery and healthy development, but a strain that demands careful handling. With patience and precision, Frosted Skoochie shows excellent potential.

HandsomeTerpz The Frosted Skoochie from Mendo Dope Farms is performing very well during the veg phase. Running around 400 PPFD she stays relaxed yet consistent showing healthy steady growth ๐ฟ๐ช
At roughly 40 cm height under an 18/6 light cycle the plant looks strong lush green and well balanced overall. Temperature and humidity are right on point and it clearly reflects in her structure. Previous topping and LST worked out nicely creating a wide bushy shape ๐ณโจ
One thing to note is that this strain remains a bit sensitive when it comes to branches and young shoots so careful handling during training is recommended. With a gentle touch she rewards you with a beautiful structure ๐๐ฑ
All in all the veg phase is running smooth and definitely builds excitement for the upcoming flowering stage ๐ฅ๐ธ

HandsomeTerpz I have to admit, Iโm currently a bit behind on LST ๐
The printers are running non-stop, still working on several holders โ shame on me, but thatโs how it goes sometimes.
That said: the girls are absolutely thriving.
Beautiful structure, strong and healthy foliage, and overall theyโve developed incredibly well. The whole house is filled with a hot aroma by now: slightly lemony, nicely berry-like, and very inviting ๐๐
Itโs still not quite that exact pheno I remember smelling back around 2000 in Amsterdam, but that memory sets a high bar ๐
After taking these photos, Iโll go in for another round of defoliation and properly continue the LST. The potential is obvious โ this run is going to be something special ๐ช
The breeding plan added a bit of tension this time. I was honestly worried there might be an unwanted male hiding somewhere.
Turns out: weโve got a winner ๐
The most beautiful plant by far decided to reveal itself as male. Breederโs joy even if it stings for a second ๐

Great growth, strong aroma, loads of energy in the tent โ now itโs time to dial in the structure and prepare for the final stretch ๐
