Going to be doing a 7 plant Sour D grow this run .. going to transplant all the solo cups into 2 gallon pots and maybe transfer the one that’s already in the 2 gallon might go into a 5 gallon.
Added some base nutrients this week just a small amount . But definitely did some tremendous growing over week looking forward to how big she’s gonna get next week
Doing some LST and starting next week will be doing some Fimming and the same to the other two. Looking forward to see how big she’s gonna be in a few weeks.
Let them recovery from fim and going to transplant the two 2gal plants to a 5gal and finished them out in them . And going to transplant the solo cup into a 2 gallon
Entering week 6 of veg and the back two are entering week 5 so still going to end veg in two weeks. Also have some concerns on the far back right one looks like I did the transplant wrong but hopefully she can pull through.
Entering week 8 of veg. Under construction right, did some leaf stripping along with another fim might have to go another week in veg then gonna flip them to flower . Can’t wait for them to bounce back 💪🏿
End of week 1 or flower and they looking good so far, going to be increasing the Phosphorus in the feeding since these gals can uptake a lot but can’t wait to see how these come out in the following weeks especially the stretching phase.
Have been requiring a lot more watering throughout this week I will say but been responding to the nutes pretty well I’ve been feeding a lil more to see how much they can take , not much of a crazy stretch like I thought it would be considering that it’s sour D but I guess I can deal let’s see how far they stretch up next week
Power been out since Saturday night so it’s they first day of light since then hopefully I didn’t do anything to trigger them to go Hermie .
Decided to move them to a new location, feel like the tent was to small so this will do til I get a 4x4
Good week 👍🏾, overwatered them a tad but they coming along nicely !! Bud sites are looking good plants are thriving nicely can’t wait to see the buds start to form in the later weeks. Got 4-5 weeks left on them so almost there 🙌🏾.
As I enter week 7 tomorrow are they right on track ? I’ve seen other people week 6 of flower and they look like buds already .. just wondering will they actually add weight ? It’s Sour Diesel so not sure if they usually slow to add weight and suggestions ?
Ppl try to go by weeks but that’s really to keep track of things but don’t worry cause if I’m not mistaken sour d got some Sativa in it so it just might be slow flower development and that okay cause some strains or some plants just will not bud or flower fast and remember every plant is different even if it’s the same strain hope this helps
Entering the 8th week of flower. Got 2-3 weeks left on the gals and they really showing it’s Sativa trait .. along with some slow development . Trichomes are starting to develop as well so just gotta be patient with this strain .. Sativa’s tend to have a longer flower period.
Entering the 9th week of flower. Got 3 weeks left on the gals .. they are getting frosty everywhere and starting swell up pretty good. Smell is starting to get there . Gonna add molasses to the next watering for that.
Entering the 10 week of flower. Got 1-2 weeks left on the gals .. they gotten more bigger and frostier over week... be watering very frequently but gonna let them dry out a little more.
Hi @Chevywood! You're very close to the finish line, buds are looking awesome! But to be honest no one can tell better than you (with the help of a magnifier/microscope)! Pistils can be a clue, if you noticed that new pistils have stopped appearing and old pistils have almost all turned red and curly, but the best way to ensure it's the right time is to look at the trichomes with a magnifier/microscope. Clear/Transparent/Skinny trichomes mean it's too soon, Milky/Cloudy/Fat trichomes mean the harvest window is open, Amber trichomes mean the harvest window is ending, and THC is degrading. Looking at your last pictures, I think you're very close, maybe 5-10 days, but you rather buy a 2$ hand-held microscope to ensure your buds are fully ready. Another week in the books.. notice the pistils hairs are starting to recede and that they are changing in color .. the trichs are starting to get cloudy but still majority clear so maybe a week or two they should be ready to pull.
Almost there🤩.. the buds are swelling very well, the colas are nice can’t wait to see how much weight they gonna add for these last two weeks.. and they have getting heavy and starting to learn over(gotta get some string) I started to give straight plain PH’d water and we’ll be doing it for these last two weeks as well. Everything going good can’t wait to try these buds out soon it’s been a long wait.
Officially have 1 week left of flower left possibly a extra week but I’m looking forward just for it finish in 1 instead of two but dealing with a Sativa dom strain they tend to mature a little longer. Thou the pistils ripen and Change color so I know that’s a sign of close harvest as well but I’m checking trich’s they seem still majority clear so by the next week I think they should be pretty cloudy through the plants.
Well thought I would be able to chop em down this week but it’s look like they need another two weeks, but patiences is key I see the trichomes but not as cloudy and no amber so guess the extra weeks we take care of that. I’ve been feeding them straight plain PH’d water so hoping good trichomes production for the next two weeks !!
I was thinking chop them down week 24? I wouldn’t imagine it would take this long but I keep thinking it’s going to be finish sooner than I think lol it’s annoying but 3 weeks til chop ?
No I would not go another 3 weeks. A week at most. Those buds look ready. The pistils have curled in. Buds look swollen. Trics look milky from pics but confirm with a 40x jewelery loupe. If u can't buy one and your going by appearance it's ready. If you are going to flush use pH distilled water or ro water and go for a week max and chop before lights come on that day.
