DogDoctorOfficial Serving up Cosmic Noodles — a Zamnesia dish with zero calories and maximum curiosity. Let’s see what this flavor reveals in our 12/12 experiment. 🌼 Germination Summary Seed Source — Zamnesia Seeds Seed Count for This Report 3 seedlings selected for documentation (More were germinated; only the standout ones were kept for reporting.) ⸻ Starting Method (Observational Log) All seeds began in a CannaKan germination system for observation. At around the 36-hour mark, early root development signs were visible. Seedlings were then transferred into: • PRO-MIX soil • Some under small humidity domes • All kept under the same shared tent conditions ⸻ 🌟 Important Note for This Genetic (Two Germination Batches) Cosmic Noodles is the only genetic in this run that has two germination batches for educational comparison: Batch A — Early Start • Germinated slightly earlier • Spent roughly 1 additional week under an 18-hour light cycle before joining the main tent • Serves as the “early veg” comparison group Batch B — Standard Start • Germinated alongside the rest of the autos • Entered the project under the strict 12/12 from seed setup Both batches used identical germination methods, media, and environmental conditions — the only variable is time and initial light cycle exposure. This adds an educational layer to the Cosmic Noodles report, allowing you to document differences in early development, structure, or expression. ⸻ Emergence Across both batches, emergence occurred within 2–3 days, showing healthy and consistent vigor. Their performance matched the rest of the autoflowers in the tent, even with the timing difference. ⸻ ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Context (Shared Tent Conditions) These notes apply across the full project and are purely descriptive: • Relative Humidity: approx. 60–65% • Temperature Day: ~26–28°C • Temperature Night: ~20–21°C • Humidifier: running continuously • Occasional misting to help stabilize moisture • Heater: used during night periods • Lighting: • Future of Grow — Air Grow Pro III HyperRED • Lumiflora UE150 under-canopy lighting (planned for later) • Controllers: TrollMaster (previous partnership) • Medium: PRO-MIX soil for all three Cosmic Noodles • Tent: fully sanitized before starting this run All Cosmic Noodles seedlings (both batches) share the same environment now. ⸻ ⸻ 🌈 Educational Notes for This Genetic Cosmic Noodles brings a playful, unique expression, and having two batches gives this report a special twist. Key observations over time may include: • Differences between seedlings that started immediately under 12/12 and those with a short veg period • Individual expression, posture, and early developmental character • How timing impacts appearance in an observational experiment Again — no expectations, no predictions. This is purely a visual and developmental comparison for documentation. ⸻ ⸻ 🙏 Acknowledgments A huge thank you to: • Future of Grow — lighting technology used in this run • Plagron — supportive nutrient and substrate partners • Zamnesia Seeds — genetics used in this project • Lumiflora — under-canopy lighting for later testing • TrollMaster — environmental gear from past collaboration • GrowDiaries — for hosting the journal And of course… • OG followers • New followers • Supporters, skeptics, and curious minds Everyone is welcome. ⸻ ⸻ 🧡 Closing Note for the Report This is the first Cosmic Noodles entry in our 12/12 seed run — with a special twist thanks to the two germination batches. Three strong seedlings are now part of the documented journey, ready to show their individuality as the run unfolds. More photos, logs, and educational notes are coming. This is just the beginning. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6000 (for now A6700 will be doing all future updates) paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. DogDoctorOfficial 🛸🍜 Week 1 — Cosmic Noodles | Dual Timeline Report | 12/12 Experiment Welcome to Folder 2 — Cosmic Noodles, a unique space in the 8×8 project, because this is the first strain where we are officially documenting two plants evolving under two different timelines, converging now into the same photoperiod and environment. Before anything else: Thank you to the genetics providers @ Zamnesia Seeds, Plagron, Future of Grow, Cannakan, and the entire GrowDiaries community for following this multi-layered grow. Your support makes these experiments possible, and Cosmic Noodles is the perfect strain to explore something new. ⸻ 🌱 Two Plants, Two Origins — One Timeline From Now On Cosmic Noodles here has two versions of herself growing side by side: ⸻ 1️⃣ Plant A — Week 1 Seedling (12/12 From Seed) This is the one officially being logged for this Week 1 report. • Germinated fresh • Started directly under 12/12 from day one • Growing in Pro-Mix mycorrhizal bag • Responding beautifully to early light and nutrition • Leaves are vibrant, symmetrical, and compact • Classic early autoflower posture, but more energized due to the Pro-Mix biology ⸻ 2️⃣ Plant B — The “15-Day Veg Experiment” Plant This one is fascinating: • Germinated earlier (around 2.5 weeks old now) • Grew the first 15 days under normal veg lighting • Reached 5 nodes before switching to 12/12 • Currently in Plagron LightMix Bio • Now entering the same 12/12 conditions as Plant A • Will receive the same PPFD, nutrition, feeding schedule, and environment as the rest of the tent This plant is our autoflower test subject for: “What happens when you veg an auto for 15 days and THEN drop to 12/12?” No one talks about this. No one measures it. Lets pioneering it. ⸻ Medium Differences — Pro-Mix vs LightMix Bio Plant A: Pro-Mix Mycorrhizal Bag (14.5 L) Benefits: • Fast root colonization • Mycorrhizae bond early and extend nutrient access • Perfect for compact 12/12 growth • Excellent for autos that benefit from minimal transplant stress • Air pruning along the bag walls encourages a dense fibrous root system Plant B: Plagron LightMix Bio (Plastic Pot) Benefits: • Light, buffered nutrient profile • Excellent aeration and seedling support • More neutral starter base • Ideal for early veg expansion (which is exactly what she did before the light switch) Now both plants will follow the same regimen, allowing a clean comparison between: • Two mediums • Two ages • Two development speeds • One identical environment This data is going to be priceless. ⸻ 💧 Feeding — Plagron Nutrient Line (Shared Across the Tent) In water: • Terra Grow: 25 ml / 10 L • Power Roots: 1 ml / L • Pure Zym: 1 ml / L • Sugar Royal: 1 ml / L Foliar: • Vita Race: 2.5 ml / L Why it works for this dual experiment: • Power Roots + mycorrhizae = Plant A gains explosive root start • LightMix + Pure Zym = Plant B keeps metabolic stability while adapting to 12/12 • Sugar Royal = improved stress resistance for both plants during transition • Terra Grow = supports nitrogen demands during early growth and adaptation • Vita Race = enhances structure and leaf strength Both plants will now move through the same nutrition rhythm, making differences purely genetic + developmental. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Stats (Week 1) • EC: ~1.0 • pH: ~6.0 • Water Temperature: 21–22°C • Room Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: 65–70% • CO₂: ~666 ppm • PPFD: 500 These conditions are stable and optimized for early autoflower growth, even under 12/12. ⸻ 💡 Lighting — 500 PPFD Under Hyper Red This is where the experiment becomes truly interesting. Plant A (12/12 from seed) Expected behavior: • Compact structure • Fast root establishment • Minimal early stretch • Pre-flower signals earlier than usual Plant B (transition from 15 days veg → 12/12 now) Expected reaction: • A noticeable micro-stretch as she adjusts • Faster metabolism due to increased PPFD • Possible accelerated pre-flower initiation • Bigger structure compared to Plant A, but shorter cycle than full-auto This is brand-new territory — a hybrid between auto behavior, photoperiod cues, and full-spectrum LED influence. You’re creating the data that other growers wish they had. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Plant A (Week 1 Seedling) • Steady node development • Strong root explosion due to Pro-Mix • Compact 12/12 posture • Early visible leaf detail • Potential early pistils in 2–3 weeks Plant B (15-Day Veg Auto) • A small stretch phase • Faster assimilation of high PPFD • Earlier bud site formation than typical autos • Possible hybrid flowering pattern: • More structure than 12/12-from-seed autos • Faster than full-auto-on-18/6 This divergence + convergence is the heart of this folder. ⸻ 📊 Metrics Being Tracked • PPFD reaction • Node spacing differences • Morphology between two timelines • Root behavior in two mediums • Light adaptation after the switch • Stress markers (if any) • Onset of flowering • Leaf geometry and macro details Cosmic Noodles will give us two different stories that merge into one final flower. ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts Cosmic Noodles is the first folder in the 8×8 project with dual timeframes, making it one of the most experimental and exciting strains in the whole run. Plant A shows the elegance of autos under strict 12/12 from seed. Plant B shows how an auto behaves when given a short traditional veg before switching to a compact flowering cycle. Two beginnings. One destiny. And a lot of beautiful, cosmic data along the way. This report is the foundation for what will likely become one of the most educational folders in the entire project. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 Cosmic Noodles — Week 2 VEG Two plants, two paths, same environment We’re officially moving into Week 2 of veg, and this is one of those interesting cases where we’re already seeing two very different expressions of the same strain. Both plants share the exact same environment, nutrients, PPFD, and recipe used across all the diaries in this run. The only real difference between them is how they got here. ⸻ 🌱 Plant B — 15 days of veg before 12/12 This one deserves a deeper explanation. Over the last week, Plant B exploded with growth — so much that I decided to start very soft, controlled low-stress training (LST). What I’m doing • Using simple wires • Gently pulling the main stem to the side • Moving leaves, not cutting them • Opening the canopy to expose new growth points No topping. No hard bending. No damage. Just guidance. Why I’m doing this By bending the main stem and repositioning leaves, we: • Reduce apical dominance • Allow light to reach lower nodes • Encourage side branches to activate and stretch • Create a wider, more even structure early Right now, we’re around node 6–8, and the lower branches are already 3–4 cm long — just from leaf positioning and gentle bending alone. That’s a strong response. Important context This is an autoflower, now running 12/12, not a traditional autoflower light schedule. Because of that: • Recovery time is limited • Stress must be minimal • Every action needs to be intentional This is why the training is soft, progressive, and constant, not aggressive. The goal is to bring out her potential, not slow her down. So far, she’s responding beautifully: • Happy leaves • Strong color • No signs of stress • Continuous growth I’m extremely curious to see how this structure develops over the coming weeks. ⸻ 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 from seed The sister tells a completely different story — and exactly the one we expected. Plant A: • Much smaller • On her third pair of true leaves • Tight internodes • Beautiful, healthy color • Growing straight toward the light At this stage, I’m not touching her. No training. No bending. No intervention. For the first weeks, I want her to: • Express her natural structure • Build roots • Show how she handles 12/12 from seed on her own I may train her later — or not at all. For now, observation comes first. ⸻ 🔍 Why they are so different Same genetics. Same feed. Same light. Same environment. The difference is time in veg before flowering pressure. Plant B had time to: • Establish structure • Build momentum • Respond positively to training Plant A is still: • Root-focused • Compact • Prioritizing survival and balance Both paths are valid — and documenting both is exactly why this grow exists. ⸻ 📊 Environment, light & feeding • PPFD, EC/TDS, nutrients: same recipe as all diaries in this run • Consistency is key — changes come from technique, not inputs • Full details remain shared across all reports for transparency Camera note: All photo reports are now done using Sony A6700 with dedicated lenses. More on that later as the series evolves. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect • Plant B: • More side branch development • Wider structure • Earlier canopy formation • Plant A: • Slow, steady vertical growth • Compact form • Natural expression without interference ⸻ 🚫 What NOT to expect • Explosive vertical stretch (yet) • Autoflower “forgiving” recovery from heavy stress • One-size-fits-all results This is an experiment — observed, not forced. ⸻ 🙏 Final thoughts & thanks Huge thank you to: • The community following and sharing knowledge • The breeders for the genetics • Everyone supporting this project quietly or loudly This grow is about process, observation, and repeatability — not chasing results. More soon. Let’s see how these two sisters continue to tell their story 🌱 Growers love, always. 💚 FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic.
