SkilletFried Just joined no idea what I'm doing. Hello, I'm Skillet. Heard about a solo cup challenge and ended up here. Hopefully this diary will get me in for next year "27" lol. Well here's my story... first grow was horrible, got some bugs no more soil inside for me lol... Started my second grow over the summer. Green crack outside in the dirt. Fed it GH maxi grow then bloom. Every time I took something off I felt terrible ,so I started planting everything I took off. That was pretty neat watching little plants take off from those. I decided to try a couple in the house again with no soil. I ended up with hydroton clay pellets. I found some rooting powder stuff at home depot, figured they may need some root help since I didn't stick them in the dirt like outside. Put them in a bowl with the pellets to stand them up and some water. Well it worked and they grew stupid fast. I moved them from the bowls to a make shift hydro set up. I put them into flower and took clones from those. Well the two I put in flower, the roots looked brown. I have no idea what I'm doing so thought maybe root rot, and I think I killed them with peroxide. So I still have their clones. I had 5 but during the whole I don't know what's going on I ditched 2 of them. I quickly stopped playing with peroxide. Down to 3 clones hanging on for dear life. Ive added some fans to the area, added southern ag to the mix for the tank, I just figured out ppm and par and a whole lot more, so after looking dead, the clones are alive. They are a little ugly but that's all right. Goals in this grow. I just want to see if I can keep them alive. That's about it. Other than that I hope someone will get some laughs or something out of it. I'm just here for the fun...

SkilletFried Plants are growing. Took some of the old leaves off. Changed out the reservoir solution. Checking water temp the next day I seen some brown roots. Thinking dang here i go again. Instead of doing the plant slaughter this time, I'm trying to think went wrong. Roots have been beautiful white so far. The temp in the reservoir hit 73 ,so first I was thinking that... then I was thinking maybe it's nutrients stain no idea. It don't stink or look slimy , this is exactly where I killed everything before lmao. So... after thinking i believe i know what I'm screwing up. When Changing/cleaning the reservoir I just got the plants hanging out in the air. I'm to slow so the plants are in the air to long and that is making them brown. Just an idea I really don't know. I'm going to get another tub so they can sit in liquid while I screw around from now on. Also noticed the plants i bend around alot the leaves freak out and start looking crazy. Will see if they can hang in there another week. Until then keep smiling.
