TheBloomer1 The first week continued as smoothly as the perfect start. The little GMO Rootbeer seedling quickly adapted under the constant conditions and shows steady growth. I’ve maintained stable humidity without any heat stress or stretching. The cotyledons are a rich green, with no signs of stress or overwatering. The first true leaf node has come through cleanly, and the leaves look robust and wide — typical for the GMO dominance of the genetics. The root growth also seems to be progressing well, as the plant stands a bit firmer in the substrate each day. Overall, a perfect, hassle-free first week under ideal conditions. Just the way you want the start to be before the real growth phase begins.

TheBloomer1 The GMO Rootbeer has started its second official week of growth very stable. The seedling has completely left the germination phase behind and is now clearly transitioning into early vegetation. The first real fan leaves have fully opened and are already developing a richer green, with no signs of deficiency or stress. The growth is compact – no unnecessary stretching, no drooping leaves. You can clearly tell that the conditions are right. The plant feels "firmer" in the pot every day, which is a good sign of active root growth. The stem is also slowly starting to gain strength. There were just a few minor adjustments with the watering: moderate but regular, so that the surface never completely dries out, while the roots still get enough oxygen. Overall, it has been a very calm, straightforward week, where the GMO Rootbeer is doing exactly what it should: showing healthy, even growth. I’m satisfied – a second week really couldn’t go any better.

TheBloomer1 In week 3, the GMO Rootbeer is really showing what it's made of. The bent head from last week has reacted perfectly to the LST: the lower shoots have clearly come up and are actively competing for the top position. This is exactly how it should look when you start bending early. The plant remains compact overall, but the growth has clearly picked up pace. More leaf mass, wider fan leaves, and clearly visible node spacing — all signs that it's handling the training well. The main stem is also becoming increasingly stable, making further shaping easier. With light, daily adjustments in the LST, the head was kept in position while the side branches continued to grow. No signs of stress, no hang-ups — GMO Rootbeer seems to handle this very well. Watering remained moderate, always alternating between letting it dry out a bit and watering it fresh again. The root ball seems to have developed well, the plant stands firm and shows no signs of deficiency. All in all, a very productive week, where the structure for a wide, well-lit growth has been established. If it keeps this up, it will be a really nice, evenly shaped veg plant in week 4.

TheBloomer1 In week 4, it was time to get serious: The GMO Rootbeer has built up a solid amount of leaf mass and stability, so it was the perfect time for topping. The main stem was cleanly cut just above the 5th node to direct energy to the side branches and promote a nice bushy structure. The plant handled the intervention without hesitation – no hang-ups, no stress, just kept pushing forward. Just a few days later, two new tops formed at the cut site, growing vigorously upwards. The side branches continue to benefit from the LST, which was maintained in parallel to keep light distribution and shape optimal. Visually, the GMO Rootbeer is already looking impressive: dense leaf structure, healthy color, stable branching. The stem has thickened nicely due to the training, providing a solid base for the coming weeks. Watering remained almost consistent, always focusing on loose, well-aerated soil. No signs of overwatering or deficiency – just healthy, vigorous development. Overall, a very successful week: the topping was a success, the structure is now open and ready for the final growth phase before the stretch. The GMO Rootbeer is responding to training and care just as one hopes from a strong, genetically stable plant.

TheBloomer1 After the successful topping last week, the GMO Rootbeer kept going without pause. Since there were no visible signs of stress, LST was continued right away. The young tips and side shoots were easily positioned, allowing the plant to take on a wide, open shape – perfect for even light distribution and strong later flower development. In parallel, there was regular, gentle defoliation. Only large fan leaves that blocked light or hindered the LST were removed. The plant has consistently responded positively to these measures: no hang-ups, no light leaves, no growth stagnation. On the contrary – it looks extremely vigorous, is growing quickly, and shows a compact, strong structure. An important focus this week was on the environment: stable temperatures, controlled humidity, and no extreme fluctuations. The light intensity was also closely monitored to avoid any stress or bleaching. The GMO Rootbeer seems to be thriving under these conditions; the leaves are cleanly pointing upwards at all times of the day, displaying that typical "Happy-Plant" look. The overall structure is now wide, flat, and very even. Exactly what you want to achieve before transitioning into the stretch phase. It is currently building a perfect foundation for several equally strong tops. Week 5 was overall very clean, very controlled, and extremely efficient – all training steps are on point, and the plant is fully engaged.

TheBloomer1 Week 6 was definitely a transition week – the GMO Rootbeer has really picked up speed. The repotting into the 15-liter pot was perfectly timed: the root ball was well filled but not fully rooted yet. This way, you give the plant new space without overwhelming it. After the switch to the larger container, it basically took off immediately and showed a noticeable growth spurt. The LST continued seamlessly. All new shoots were gently bent down again so that the plant maintains its wide, flat shape. The reaction has been consistently positive – no signs of stress, no slowdown in growth. Particularly striking is how quickly the GMO Rootbeer develops new side shoots and reacts to light. Defoliation was also purposefully continued this week. As usual, only the essentials: leaves that cast shadows, blocked air circulation, or would have made tying down difficult. This keeps the plant organized, well-ventilated, and extremely accessible for further training. The environmental values were kept stable, especially after repotting, to avoid any transplant stress. Temperature, humidity, and light intensity were closely monitored – and the GMO Rootbeer rewards it with strong, upright leaves and consistently vigorous growth. By the end of the week, it stands very wide, even, and noticeably bushier than before. The new pot gives it enough buffer to really take off during the upcoming stretch. An absolutely smooth week without setbacks – the structure is solid, the plant is stable, and the start of the pre-flower phase can come soon.
