Celebrated May the 4th proper by germinating this little baby. Seed was dropped directly into rapid rooter, and left in darkness for 48 hours.
After the 48 hours of darkness, she was moved into a sunny window atop a heating pad to maintain a daytime temp of around 80ยฐF and 80% relative humidity.
After one day in the window (3 days post seed drop), she broke ground. She's sitting pretty in a sunny window with her sisters. โ๏ธ On Day 4 she's still holding onto her seed shell!
Day 5 post seed drop she finally opened up and showed me her 1st set of true leaves. I am calling this Day 1 of veg.
Day 4 above ground - moved her into the grow tent under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED on settings R39 W49 B99.
Since my seedlings outgrew the humidity dome, I moved in a humidifier to maintain 60-60% humidity. Since my basement hasn't warmed up as much as I had hoped, I have my seedling tray sitting on a heating pad to keep them warm. I have also been forced into using a 24 hour light cycle, because I fear any time with the lights out will cause too strong of a chill.
Spring IS here, isn't it?
Day 8 - Transplanted seedling into net basket using expanded clay pellets as grow media. The root system is pretty robust and Ms. Cookie is looking healthy and happy!
@@JP148, Thank you so much for the kind words! I try to cover as much as I can with each entries so that when I go back to conduct a "post mortem" it's easier to see where my issues were and how I can improve. I'm grateful that others appreciate it as well. โ๏ธ๐๐ฑ
"It's what all the pros use, right? ๐" I woudldnt be surprised if you could buy some "CannaTape" for $30 a yard lol great smile btw warms my heart !
@CRiSPrGrow, Thank you! ๐๐ SO true though, maybe I could re-label some of this duct tape and make a profit ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ it's the first time I've used it on a plant and I promise you it was an act of desparation LOL. She grew as if none of that even happened. I hope her buds have a side effect of passing off some of that resilience to me! ๐ช
all looking nice and perky, I also snapped a huge branch almost completely off on my 3 in one pot grow but I used that rubbery wire to reattach it due to where the break was. Didn't miss a beat.
Absolutely incredible. Such a Beautful canopy. And the work to keep the under clean, nice job. That is also a faaaaaat main stem. This is one of the happiest ladies I've seen in some time. Fantastic work. Keep doing what your doing and beat of luck the rest of the way.
Looks amazing. Just wanted to ask you about UC roots, itโs a chlorine based agent which is like bleach, did you know? It makes roots clean and free of disease but I wasnโt sure if youโd appreciate smoking something dipped in bleach solution throughout your grow..
