Celebrated May the 4th proper by germinating this little baby. Seed was dropped directly into rapid rooter, and left in darkness for 48 hours. After the 48 hours of darkness, she was moved into a sunny window atop a heating pad to maintain a daytime temp of around 80°F and 80% relative humidity. After one day in the window (3 days post seed drop), she broke ground. She's sitting pretty in a sunny window with her sisters. ✌️ On Day 4 she's still holding onto her seed shell! Day 5 post seed drop she finally opened up and showed me her 1st set of true leaves. I am calling this Day 1 of veg. Day 4 above ground - moved her into the grow tent under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED on settings R39 W49 B99. Since my seedlings outgrew the humidity dome, I moved in a humidifier to maintain 60-60% humidity. Since my basement hasn't warmed up as much as I had hoped, I have my seedling tray sitting on a heating pad to keep them warm. I have also been forced into using a 24 hour light cycle, because I fear any time with the lights out will cause too strong of a chill. Spring IS here, isn't it? Day 8 - Transplanted seedling into net basket using expanded clay pellets as grow media. The root system is pretty robust and Ms. Cookie is looking healthy and happy!

Day 12 - Gave my plants their first feeding today. I gave 1/4 of the recommended dose of Veg A and Veg B and a full dose of Coco Cal & UC Roots. This plant is seriously blowing my mind with how fast she's growing. Out of all 4 plants I have going this round, she's blowing them away with an abundant root system and booming growth! Her leaves started looking a bit pale, which I am hoping will even out after she gets some food in her belly. Day 13 - Moved my lights down to 33" above the canopy. Within 24 hours of feeding, her color has already improved! Baby was just staaaahvin. 🍪😋 Day 14 - Moved lights down to 30"

This plant is flexxxxing! 💪💪💪 Day 18 - I am so impressed with the boom of growth from this plant! She's looking healthy as ever after her feeding yesterday. I'll take a picture of her root system when I change the reservoir. She's going to be a beast! Day 21 - Approaching topping day. This chick means business. This has been smooth sailing so far! Her leaves are so big, healthy and green. I increased my LED to full spectrum.

Day 22 - Complete reservoir change. Upon root inspection, her root system is strong and pristine! Plant was topped at the 5th node. Lights were lowered to 24" above the canopy. Day 24 - Fed 6ml Coco Cal and 3ml Veg A&B. I removed two of her large fan leaves to help expose lower bud sites.

Introduced a little bondage into our relationship and she pushes back every time. Waiting for her tentmate to catch up before I flip her to flower. Using zip ties attached to the net basket and cooking twine, I tied her down. Bud sites on bud sites, this plant has been a pleasure every step of this grow so far! Day 35 - more defoliation, stem bending, and going back through my tie-down and readjusting. Originally I was cautious about her and her tentmate outgrowing the tent so I wasn't going to be as aggressive with training.... But since her tentmate, Skywalker OG, is growing into a short, stout little bush, I'm going for it with GSC! I am REALLY proud of this grow so far. She is being totally textbook. I stress her she pushes back, I stress her she pushes back, rinse and repeat. I'm ready to flip her to flower, just waiting a couple more days for her tentmate to catch up!

Flipping to flower at day 40. Completed a total reservoir change at day 38 and switched to bloom nutes. This plant is an absolute DREAM! I have another embarrassing mishap to report.... Definitely snapped another main branch in half but was speedy to grab the duct tape and almost a week later you would NEVER guess she had any trauma. Another branch got a half way snap too, more duct tape. I am whole heartedly ashamed of my barbaric treatment to this beautiful girl. I am astounded that she has taken such a beating and not only recovered, but never even took a moment to appear to have any sort of stress. What phenomenal genetics! Continued to defoliate and tie her down some more to really expose those bud sites. Let the flowering begin!

After a week of the new light schedule she's showing me some pretty white hairs. Despite all of the mishaps with breaks, her branches are STRONG! I went through and adjusted all of my tie-downs. I feel like I am constantly defoliating this girl, removing bud-blockers left and right. Her fan leaves are MASSIVE! This plant is just super healthy and happy and it's a true pleasure growing her. ✌️💜🌱

My aggressive bud-blocker removal has resulted in an unruly bush who is trying to over-grow her space! My hopes are that she can keep herself contained for the rest of the grow lol 😂. I've done a LOT of defoliation to try and help with the humidy and airflow in the tent. Her bud sites look happy and healthy, and her branches are super strong! 💪 She is drinking a TON of water. I find myself adding a gallon every 2-3 days!

Took the beast out of her tent for a reservoir change. She's drinking like crazy - a gallon every day or two. It's really hard to remember that this monster had two of her limbs broken and repaired with duct tape. It's what all the pros use, right? 😜 She is really stretching in all directions. Buds are coming in with really thick, beautiful pistils. I defoliate her pretty regularly because her fan leaves are massive and are getting in the way of everything. I removed a bunch of small branches that weren't reaching the canopy in favor of more airflow and to help combat humidity. Her branches are super strong and healthy. 💪 She is one massive bush!

Beastmoding through another week. This kid amazes me, the way she flexes through the duct tape. Sensational genetics to take such a beating and still bush out like like a boss! She's grown out of the tent so now my doors stay open. I gave her a major defoliation to keep the air moving. The pistils are so thick they almost look like a fine white cotton yarn. She is drinking a gallon of water a day, it's unreal!

This beast has outgrown the tent! 😱 She drinks a gallon a day, but has otherwise given me an easy week of growth. A couple of colas look as if they may have gotten bleached by the LEDs. I'm going to take a microscope to them and get a better look 🔬. I have family visiting this week and staying in the house with us making spending time in the grow room nearly impossible. 🤦‍♀️

Gave her a reservoir change and another round of defoliation (which as I look at my pictures, I see I should have taken off WAY more undergrowth). This plant is sticky and stinky! She is drinking 1 gallon + a day, and it's really difficult to keep up with! In a few days or so I may be ready to hang my California Lightworks UVB bar for a little love for the finishing touches.

Hung up my new California Lightworks UVB supplement light. I think I originally hung it a bit too close (18 inches from canopy) based on the subtle color change in the leaves, so I raised it up to 24" above the canopy. I was most certainly skeptical, since this is my first time using UVB, but even over the course of its first week under the bulbs I've notice a visible increase in trichomes. Now I guess won't know whether or not this would have happened anyway, but the sticky diamond coated buds sure are making me smile. 😁

Ooooh boy, what an eventful beginning to week 14! I took this beast out of the tent for a reservoir change and noticed that she had a few branches hanging below the canopy in the middle of the plant that had a lot of heat damage. 😩 So that haircut she needed turned into a bit of an amputation... I've never dealt with heat damage before, so I don't know what it does to the quality of the bud, but what I DID know was that if I didn't change something, it certainly wasn't going to get any better. I removed 90% of the heat damaged branches, leaving only the branches that had mild damage to the leaves only. Looking at her, she doesn't look like she's missing much of anything, but what she gained was some more space to breathe and to feel the breeze. 😊 If anyone has dealt with heat damage in the past, I'd love to know what you did about it. Did you keep the buds? Ditch em? Are they safe to smoke? Do you think I did the right thing? Every grow throws me so much more to learn about and so many more opportunities for hands on experience dealing with things that I've only ever read about. It's the freaking tits! ✌️💜🌱

Having a sweet recovery from my the Edward Scissorhands action I threw her way last week. I can already see a difference in the buds now that the plant is more opened up and can receive more light more evenly. I took some of those branches I removed and dried them out to take a sample of this plant.... Holy wow the high! I won't have a real exposure to her true flavor until she's dried and cured, but there's more certainly a mint aftertaste that is very unique.

Moved the lights up a bit more to help combat the heat. This is one stinky, sticky plant! She seems to be much happier now that all that extra undergrowth has been removed. Now it's time to wait for the harvest window!

Coming in on a close with this lady. I. Was hesitant to let her finish out based on the high I got off of her early harvested buds, but I decided to stick with the plan of waiting for a 20-30% amber window before proceeding. I took her outside and stripped a lot of the heat damaged leaves off. I accidentally knocked a couple more buds of. f 🤦‍♀️ I'm so gentle. The smell off this plant is crazy strong!

Looks amazing. Just wanted to ask you about UC roots, it’s a chlorine based agent which is like bleach, did you know? It makes roots clean and free of disease but I wasn’t sure if you’d appreciate smoking something dipped in bleach solution throughout your grow..
