GG-I-1 Girl Scout Cookies

Softi Had 3 Strains: Girl Scout Cookies White Label (front + back left) Blue Sunset Sherbert (back right) White Gorilla Haze (front right) In my first grow, I already had problems with hermaphroditism, so I was and still am very consistent about it, and everything that is not DEFINITELY female gets tossed out ;) This is, in my opinion, mainly due to the light spectrum and intensity of the SANlight. Pot size is listed as 25 liters, but if you look at the incorrectly stated liter amounts from BIOBIZZ, they sell 42 liters instead of 50L... and the pot filled accordingly has a volume of about 20 liters in my case! The total amount of nutrients was 100g Bio Bloom + 10g Bio Grow per ~20-liter pot. Additionally, it's worth noting that the plants look significantly "brighter" than they actually are, which is generally the case with photos under LED lighting. Leaf temperature on average 1 to 2 °Celsius below room temperature. Connected setup: Tent: - SANlight EVO 1.5 3-80 (80% light output) - 2x AC Infinity Pro 69+ - 2x AC Infinity Cloudray S6 (air circulation) - 2x AC Infinity Cloudline S6 (exhaust/inlet) - AC Infinity Thermoforge T3 - AC Infinity Cloudforge T3 - Spider Farmer Tent 90x90x180 (cm) Room: - AC Infinity Cloudline S6 (exhaust room 1/4 room volume per hour) - Comfee dehumidifier (RLF 50%) Measuring devices: - Milwaukee ph56 (water analysis) - Yinmik Digital pH soil meter (substrate analysis) - AC Infinity VPD thermometer (leaf temperature analysis) Water: 0.3-0.5L tap water + 3.7 - 4.0L RO water (since our tap water has too high a sodium/ammonium value, I use a reverse osmosis system) pH correction: Hesi pH - minus (bloom) BioBizz pH - down Substrate: Soil - BioBizz Light Mix Watering: Manual / self-constructed wick watering (dry spots so far excluded)

Softi Watering amount is about 4 to 4.5 liters per pot every 3 to 4 days (you can observe transpiration very well at the leaf temperature and determine your watering rhythm). Unfortunately, the first signs of hermaphroditism were detected at the back and front right... (visible in the last picture).

Softi Blue Sunset Sherbet (back right) was removed due to signs of hermaphroditism (microscope clearly shows it in the last picture) Defoliation was done for the sake of air circulation.

Softi White Gorilla Haze (front right) was also sorted out due to showing hermaphrodite traits.

Softi Girl Scout Cookies are thriving beautifully. Since the lamp distance hasn't been increased this week, the first signs of over-fertilization/deficiency are showing (front left).

Softi The plants are pulling massive amounts of phosphorus and potassium, yet it seems the plant (front left) is suffering more from a nutrient transport issue or an imbalance in nutrient composition, as the pictures will show next week. The plant (back left) has enjoyed the additional dose of PK fertilizer, but I will keep an eye on this. Light defoliation has been carried out. Lamp power has been reduced to 75%. I would be very grateful for feedback here, as I am also trying to reduce the light output and the humidity...

Softi This week I only used regular watering for the second watering, as the plant in the front left got a bit too much. I think that might even be enough with normal watering until the end. The "upward" curled leaves have normalized again due to reducing the light output to 75% :) I will give the plant in the back left 75% of the PK/Cal for another 1 to 2 weeks. It doesn't seem too thrilled about the removal of the boost. I reduced the temperature to 25°C during the day and 19-20°C at night, and also the humidity to an average of 53%. Defoliation has been carried out. Thanks again for the nice comments! Constructive feedback is always welcome. :)

Softi The leaves on the back left are turning blood red, which looks really nice. I'm also quite satisfied there, and she's getting another week of hybrid, PK, and calcium. On the front left, I gave calcium and a bit of the enhancer; from now on, this one will only get regular watering... I'm starting to think that calcium was the problem. Light output: 70% Humidity: on average 52% Leaf temperature: 0.7 - 1.3 °C below room temperature Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the second attempt.

Softi Yesterday was the first time I looked at the trichomes, and in the photos, you can see quite well that the majority is turning mostly milky. For the front plant, I'm now sure that it was over-fertilized and has been reacting relatively sensitively since then... The back one is at the upper limit, so from now on, both will only get regular watering. Looking back, starting with the slow-release fertilizer and then switching to mineral was not a bad idea, but in the end, it was too much slow-release fertilizer, which took away my ability to respond sensibly with the mineral fertilizer. I'm still fascinated after the second grow about the growth of cannabis plants. A long-overdue decision to legalize it for adults!

Softi Between the years, I didn't have much time or leisure for documentation, so these are the pictures from the end of week 11. The plants are starting to look really wild, I've learned a lot and experimented a bit, recently swapped the BioBizz CalMag for the CalMag from Greenhouse Feeding, since mixing osmosis water with a bit of tap water at the end wasn't really a solution either. Week 12 will be harvest time, so not much is happening there anymore, and the burnt leaves on the front plant will all be removed during the manicure anyway. So there have been many ups and downs in this run, which means for next year, as mentioned, less long-term fertilizer or possibly even completely mineral fertilization. :) The smell is and was never too strong, but the minty, fruity Kush note was always present. Also, the structure and color of the buds have turned out very nice, very dense buds with some foxtails and thick, resinous stigmas.

Softi Hello and thanks again to everyone who commented and "liked"!!! In the end, everything turned out great, a nice harvest from which I jarred 50g of the best buds. Phenotype #1 [front left] turned out really well all around. Unfortunately, I have to criticize the taste of #2 [back left], but the "purple" accents look really nice, which can be seen beautifully in the picture with flash. (The pictures with flash unfortunately didn't turn out so well :/) The appearance is noteworthy, and the 50%/50% Sativa/Indica provides a nice head high paired with a pleasant couch feeling, taste-wise more like 6/10, but personally, the "Kush direction" isn't really my thing, so as stated, 8/10 for the GSC strain from Sensi Seeds - White Label. I was quite satisfied with the grow, but next year I won't mix two different fertilizers again; instead, I'll use organic slow-release fertilizer with a maximum of 50g per plant and possibly a top-up of 10-20g. Otherwise, I'll stick to completely mineral fertilizers. The SANlight with 50cm distance and a maximum of 75-80% light output during flowering and 20-40% in veg was top-notch, and the slow increase was great, but towards the end, I should have kept the output at 75-80% for all but the last 2 weeks. Temperature was also great, at germination 25°C, then 26°C until the bulk phase, then back to 25°C until the end. At night, it’s best to never go below 20°C! Humidity was okay too, 70% until the first 2-3 nodes, then 65% until flowering, then 45-60% in flowering. During flowering, you could manage the humidity well according to the different flowering phases to get below 50% RH starting from the bulk phase. I was very satisfied with the equipment, the "AI controller" from AC-Infinity would be interesting, and a 150x80x200 tent would be optimal for 3 plants. I only have a little complaint about the noise... all the fans are still relatively loud at around half power. - The SCROG nets from "InfernoHarvest" are worth their weight in gold; with net 1, I trained the plants, with net 2, I stabilized the buds, and in the end, I comfortably hung and dried the buds at the nodes on the first net. I didn’t damage anything on the nets or the buds, and I can reuse them next year; it couldn't be better ;) - The electronic "watering lance" optimized the watering, allowing me to water evenly and slowly, finishing in 2 stages with half the amount of water per plant, and I was done watering in 20 minutes. - The support of the wick irrigation combined with the fabric pots was perfect, resulting in completely root-bound substrate, with some roots even growing through the wick, which were snow-white, as seen during the substrate examination at the end of the grow. - pH was well controllable, but there was definitely too much nitrogen in the soil, and for the next grow, I will use the pH minus from TA. I will probably have to deal with fertilizer, substrate, and genetics for a while longer. I was also completely satisfied with the training, topping after the 5th node, then letting it grow until it stabilized and directing further growth with the SCROG net during flowering/stretch... no stress, less vegetative time of about 2-3 weeks, resulting in a much prettier plant with thicker buds. For next year, I have my eye on the strains "Runtz Muffin," "Wedding Cheesecake," "Blue Dream," and "Blueberry," but we'll see... definitely not just from one label :) I wish everyone much success with their grows and Germany a continued positive path in dealing with one of the most beautiful and useful plants in the world ;) Peace.
