Light 40% ( will remain till steady growth again ) Water change tomorrow or next, hopefully tomorrow to just get a nice overall reset for her and the rainbow melon ( they're in the same system so whatever starts effecting either one first, the other will follow suit in time if the issue is not squashed )

RBG Nori cake is shaping up nicely and starting to regain her footing, hopefully new growth continues on being lush green with no more deficiencies, so far have halted but ultimately won't see for the next handful of days if its worked or not E.c 1-1.1, ph 5.8-6 Light reduced to 25% ( thinking going to early in 5% light increments might of also had a hand in these problems also ) Just relax for the next week and hopefully see some lush improvements Will be veg for 6 weeks so she should catch up nicely 11/1/26 Week 3 day 5 Coming back slowly from this deficiency, not the best of growth compared to last run in the Alien but holding strong still. I'd say we're more in a recovery stable mode right now, any deficiency take around 5-10days to recover from E.c still 1-1.1, light has now increased to 25% today Will remove lower effected leaves before week 4 hits 12/1 Removed lower affected foliage 13/1 Still in a stable recovery mode, not hugely effected, seems like new growth coming in isnt affected as much as the older growth slowly withers away. more of a robust green without yellowing nor new spots. Deficiency takes around 5-10 days to fully recover from and to start seeing new growth unaffected by the Deficiency at hand. RBG 🌱Nori Cake by Green house seeds co 🌱 Week 4 Veg day 4 17/1/26 Still in a stable recovery mode, not hugely effected, seems like new growth coming in isnt affected as much as the older growth slowly withers away. more of a robust green without yellowing nor new spots. The weather has been an absolute shocker this past week, average 30° but environmental factors pushing 36-40°. Both aircons struggling to keep temps under 28. Water is getting absolutely destroyed too, sitting high at 26-28 when usually 20-24 Water will be changed today, waiting on bottles of water to cool down as water out the tap is 32° right now 1 set of leaves will be removed today as well. Right now we'll just take what we can get and roll with it, too many environmental factors are coming in to play especially heat in all aspects 18/1/26 Nutrients change

RBG Week 5 Day 1 Still struggling but slowly getting there, not too sure what else I can do for the nori cake or rainbow after there battle with a calmag deficiency and the heat thats come on through here Better temps inside and out, sitting about 25 through the day and 22 at night better then 33-34° feeling like 42-43° and water sitting roughly around 20° instead of 28-30° No nute change yet as it was only changed recently E.c 1.3-1.4, light 35% Guess we just gotta keep on soldering through 24/1/26 Week5 day 4 Nutrients change today 25/1/26 Day 5 Stupid weather today, 35°, water was sitting high, going to try Ice packs to keep water cool 26/1/26 Day 6 Hottest day ive ever had 😭 weather needs to go away, got to 39-40° outside but felt like 46-47. Room was kept around 31, water was at 22 half the day then I ran out of frozen water bottles

RBG Week 6, day 3 30/1/26 Better weather this week so far, shes looking more healthy in general, still slower growth but fine otherwise, after the past 3 weeks of a heat wave I'm surprised they're even still alive or havent flipped themselves All we can do is continue on and see what we come up with. RBG Yeah, I mean they're alive πŸ˜‚ better weather but still a hit and miss depending on the days, hot one, cold next rinse and repeat, these poor ladies probably think they're being absolutely tourted πŸ˜ͺ Added cannazyme to the mix, will change out nutrients tomorrow to flowering, have switched to a 12/12 light cycle. Was thinking about doing a bit of extra veg but I don't really think I'll gain too much with how they're all growing so just going to finish them up and keep hoping they don't die in the process. Cleaned all 4 up and removed any unwanted foliage. Bit of a sad run this one as I wasnt anticipating the weather that came through but a lesson learnt also 7/2/26 Changed nutrients to bloom nutrients today, had some on brew since last night so I'm not changing with 30Β° water. RBG Still alive and struggling, sounds like most people lives atm πŸ˜‚ nah kidding shes doing okay but not the greatest, change out in 5 days for nutes maybe 4. No signs of flowering atm 13/2/26 Another couple shit days for weather, today is decent and supposedly next few days also... over 30+ degree heat 15/2/26 I messed up when I nutrients changed, I forgot to turn top feed on so for the past week they've just been feeding from the roots/whatever was left over in the clayballs etc πŸ˜ͺ I'll be nutrients changing today 16/2/26 Nutrients changed today E.c21, ph 6.1-6.2 Floramax veg1 Floramax Organabud Floramax flowering enhancer Floramax rezin 1/4th Cyco platinum series silica Complete grow cal mag Uc roots Cannazyme Still no signs of flowering yet but tbh with the beating up they've endured over these handful of weeks due to weather issues it's not really surprising 17/2/26 No signs of flowering yet

* will update with pics and report later * Well wasn't this a very stressful run across the 4 of these ladies, sundogz, mon cherry, rainbow melon, nori cake. We went through water problems, weather problems, deficiencies but they all survived, kinda wild while water is sitting around 28Β° for the first few months with cold packs to cool it down throughout the day but while we were dealing with that we had some of the hottest days of the year roll through with temps hitting 45Β° outside and 30-35Β° inside. Oh nori cake, what a lady you grown to be considering what your estimates are you didnt get anywhere near the height nor yield we dreamed off but you fought a tough battle and ultimately came out on top and still delivering results, your genetics are that of survivors, all 4 are! Even though SundogZ outshined with looks you definitely came ahead with yield ( possibly, SundogZ could just be that nore denser ) That lemony mango sugary sweet smell you give off is something I can't wait to try. She's fluffy, dense, sweet and sticky. I really do hope I come by her again to she her full potential, im only expecting maybe 7g maybe more, we'll see. She'll be very flavourful though. Her roots were clean from top to bottom so the issues we were having weren't from anything root related, just stacked up environmental factors that we unfortunately didn't have the available funds to be able to fix so had to make with what we had. problems we were facing. Definitely early defoliation but bit by bit. Not in a big lot Shes a heavy drinker that likes a heavier feed, I wish I put nori cake and sundogz together, would have made it easier for feeding e.c Over all I would say shes beginner friendly, even if your having troubles she should bounce back pretty quickly, her yields are generous too but shes meant to grow 250cm tall at max so you need room to grow her. Just remember, have fun, do you and don't beat yourself up to hard if you fail. We all learn and grow from our mistakes. Will update with a smoke report and a couple end pictures a bit later on
