TruTraTri Welcome to Dexters Growbroratory. For all broscience and science grower. 😂
Seeds from Greenway Solutions from grower of the month. So somehow earned and not sponsored. No obligations on either side. Honest report as always.
Contact with the breeder was very nice, answers all questions and in short(est) time.👌👍 👌Honest, so no weird claims, provoides valuable tips. Looking forward for the results.
As always DIY LEDs + DIY recycled soil. Keep them outside at the beginning to spare some energy and they have to stay small so everthing fits in my small box later on.
Had some failed germination. So went extreme and doubled the starters 😜
Zkittlez something again ... as always one of my favorites. Weaker one is going into a small pot 3,6l (Dexter), healthier in 20l (Dee Dee)😂

TruTraTri Mostly, outside so growth is slowed down. Fine with me, as I am very limited in heights. 👍

TruTraTri Box is still full. Unplanned transplantation in mid sized.
They look sad because I forgot them outside. Temperature ~-5°C + less than 12h light. 😭
Which would not be bad, if they weren't so tall already (at least for my box), so I somehow have to flip as soon as possible and recover as good as possible.

TruTraTri After death was avoided, they recovered. Just as they were feeling fine, I cut their heads off, because I need a bushier structure because of the limited height. More than a bit harsh, but no other option.

TruTraTri Well, I have no experience with the breeder or strains, so if there is a stretcher I got no time to recover or train - switch.
Took the topping like a champ.
Reacted immediately to the switch. To even out the canopy I tried to bend them down a bit. Consequently, Dee Dee got ripped off one of her arms completely. Just a few fibers holding it up (s. red tie).

TruTraTri Well, the good news, Dee Dee didn't mind the amputation and healed up nicely.
Bad news is that I am a bit afraid of more stress (training mistakes) and stretch is much much much stronger then her roomates'.
Moved down the lights a bit, but she does not care. 😎

TruTraTri Did not move the lamp, to inhibit the stretch. Did not help much. So she get's a bit too much light + heat + wind at the tops, but if I adjust the other plants would suffer. So no one gets the right treatment 👽
As height adjustment did not work and the ripped off branch was fine, I supercropped all tops and bend them down.
For humidity control I took off some leaves (90% with lights out).

TruTraTri Well, stretch was definitely too strong for my height. The top of the plant is a bit stressed because of light intensity, heat, low humidity.
As example to "visualize" the stress, the poor thing has to suffer... Regarding just the temperature (light on) it's a difference of 5 °C from highest to lowest bud site. I suppose a living beeing can be pissed about something like that .. 😂

TruTraTri Continued defoliation for humidity control.
Symptoms at the tops get a bit worse but not critical. Downwards it looks fine.
Normally, I'd say coloring is a bit light because of the LEDs. In this case it's true. I think my soil wasn't enough to handle the stretch and build up of this genetic. Some additional nutrition would've been necessary or in my setting an even a larger pot (which is not suitable in my setup 😅).

TruTraTri Totally maxed out the height. It's growing beetween the LED stripes now.
I think with a board or low priced LED product she would be smokeable already.. just a bit too crispy 😂
Dexter gets a light coloring. Beside their different environmental and deficiencie symptoms, they also show signs of senescence. I like that more than many of the "evergreens".
As I can't handle such a huge stretch without much effort, the leftover seeds are reserved for an outdoor run. 😊 Think with enough space this is a big yielder.

TruTraTri Just ripening left. Can't do much about the stuff that does not fit ;-)
Reduced the water.
Pictures of the whole plant when I take them out of the box.
