Purrple_Haze Fresh Start in a New Space π±β¨ | Auto Mimosa by MSNL Seeds
A brand-new diary begins β and this one comes with a fresh setup and exciting genetics. Iβm starting an Auto Mimosa by MSNL Seeds, grown from contest seeds won via GrowDiaries. I received seeds, and both are part of this new chapter. A clean slate, a new environment, and a lot of curiosity about how this cultivar will express itself.
This run also marks the start of a new tent setup, giving the plants their own dedicated space to shine:
πΈ Tent size: 60 Γ 60 Γ 180 cm
πΈ Genetics: Auto Mimosa β MSNL Seeds
πΈ Grow style: Fully documented from day one, Growlapse
The seeds have been started carefully, and Iβm looking forward to seeing how quickly they crack and establish themselves. Auto Mimosa is known for its vibrant character and uplifting profile, so expectations are naturally high β but as always, Iβll let the plant do the talking. πΏ
With a fresh setup and proven genetics, this diary will follow the full journey step by step, from germination to harvest. Iβm excited to dial everything in and see what these autos are capable of in this environment.
Stay tuned β this one is just getting started ππ±

Purrple_Haze Ups & Downs in the First Days π±π’ | Auto Mimosa β MSNL Seeds
The last 12 days have definitely been a bit of a rollercoaster β one of those phases that reminds you that not every run starts perfectly, even with good genetics and preparation.
After germination, one seed simply refused to take off once in the pot. No progress, no recovery signs β so I made the call to remove it. Instead of forcing the situation, I decided to send two fresh seeds into germination. One of them has already rewarded that decision and is now proudly showing her first true leaves πΏ
The second one still gets another two days of patience. If thereβs no sign of life by then, Iβll continue the run with two plants to avoid major height differences later on β keeping the canopy even is key in this tent.
On the equipment side, there was a very welcome upgrade this week:
πΈ Mars Hydro 5L humidifier joined the setup
πΈ Already proven in a previous run with excellent results
πΈ Allows precise humidity control
πΈ VPD now dialed in nicely between 1.0β1.1
Having proper VPD control at this early stage makes a huge difference, especially for seedlings finding their rhythm. The environment is now stable, calm, and exactly where I want it to be β which should help the remaining Mimosa girls settle in and push forward with confidence.
Not the smoothest start, but thatβs part of the journey. The important thing is adapting early and keeping conditions on point. From here on, Iβm optimistic things will level out nicely π±β¨

Purrple_Haze Finding Her Rhythm ππΏ
This week really felt like a turning point for my Mimosa Auto. After a slightly bumpy start, sheβs now settled in beautifully and has put on some impressive growth. Once the environment was dialed in, she wasted no time showing what sheβs capable of.
Early on, I noticed a bit of stress caused by fluctuating humidity, but that issue is officially off the table now. Since introducing the Mars Hydro humidifier, conditions have been rock solid, holding around 70% RH and keeping the VPD nicely in the 1.0β1.3 range. The difference is very noticeable β happier leaves, faster growth, and a much more relaxed plant overall.
This run, Iβve decided to skip topping completely and focus purely on Low Stress Training. Gentle bends and adjustments have already helped open her up, and sheβs responding exactly how I hoped: more light exposure, better airflow, and a clean, balanced structure without slowing her momentum. π
Feeding-wise, I also tried something new this time:
πΈ Watered with Green Power by S&R Organics
πΈ A complete organic fertilizer containing nutrients, microorganisms, and mycorrhiza
πΈ Recommended by my local grow shop β and so far, Iβm really liking how she reacts to it
πΈ VPD around 1,0-1,3
The plant looks vigorous, healthy, and full of energy. Leaf color is on point, growth is steady, and the overall structure is coming together nicely without any need for heavy intervention.
All in all, Iβm very happy with how Mimosa Auto is developing right now. The early hurdles turned into a good reminder of how crucial environment is β once thatβs right, everything else falls into place. Really excited to see how she continues to evolve over the next stretch πβ¨

Purrple_Haze First Signs of Bloom πΈπ
Things are getting exciting with my Auto Mimosa from MSNL Seeds β she has officially entered preflower about two days ago, and the first delicate pistils are now clearly visible. Iβve added a few close-up shots to this update because those early flower signs never get old. πΌβ¨
Sheβs been developing beautifully overall, with a healthy structure and strong momentum going into this next phase. To improve light distribution and keep her canopy open, I applied some gentle LST, which she accepted without any signs of stress. The plant continues to look balanced and happy. ππΏ
Environmental conditions are right where I want them:
πΈ VPD stable around 1.1, providing a smooth transition into bloom
πΈ Fed with S&R Organics Green Power, a complete organic fertilizer containing nutrients, microorganisms, and mycorrhiza
So far, sheβs responding very well to the feeding and environment, and the transition into flowering looks clean and promising. Iβm really curious to see how she stretches and expresses herself over the next days now that bloom hormones are kicking in.
Preflower has officially begun β let the Mimosa show her colors. πβ¨
