Chef_LA End of the second week, today the first fertilization was done. Each plant with a different fertilizer. The ladies look good, only Lady one is drooping her leaves a bit. They need more water now.

Chef_LA Plant one germinated a few hours later than number two and was smaller and weaker from the start. Proportionally, however, both are developing great. Each is fertilized with a different manufacturer's nutrients according to the instructions. So far, no assessment is possible as the ladies are developing nicely. Watering 0.5 liters every two to three days as needed.

Chef_LA As usual, water as needed and fertilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions. Each one gets fertilizer from a different manufacturer, as mentioned before. So far, no differences in growth since plant one has always been a bit smaller. This week I will decide whether to apply topping to one plant or just let it grow. This is my first grow with regular fem. plants.

Chef_LA The two are growing very slowly, are bushy, and look healthy. For plant number one, I applied topping. Haven't used any other methods yet. Number 1 is well-fed and feels good, she's stretching her leaves upwards. I think in week 7 I'll slowly send her into flowering.

Chef_LA Slowly introduce the flowering cycle, reduce the light a bit every day. Currently at 14/10. In two days I'll be at 12/12. Light defoliation and Plant 1 (the topped one) is LST. Plant 2 is growing normally. Let's see who delivers more yield.
So far, they are strong and have nice green leaves. They get water as needed, about 1 liter every two days.

Chef_LA I've initiated the flowering stage. It's been 6 days on 12/12 hours. The plants are really putting on some growth, and the topped one is practically exploding 😍. They're growing and thriving, have nice thick stems, and are enjoying their care 😂. I give them a liter of water daily, but you can see that in their growth.

Chef_LA The two are growing well, fertilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions. I lightly defoliated them. When I see how the topped plant is spreading out, I will top all the plants and set up a net for the next grow.

Chef_LA The ladies are growing very well, they're bushy and forming a lot of small buds. I had to do some defoliation and remove the small buds at the bottom. Fertilized according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Chef_LA Both plants are growing beautifully. The naturally grown one is growing nicely tall and getting a lot of flowers. The topped one is growing amazingly wide. It's also getting plenty of big flowers. Fertilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions. I have additionally installed 2x 65 Watt red light LED lamps.

Chef_LA No more height growth. The buds are getting bigger and thicker. They are slowly starting to smell. Just a bit of LST and fertilizer according to the manufacturer's instructions. And many trichomes are already forming 🤩.

Chef_LA No major changes, just the buds are growing nicely. The topped plant is about 1 to 2 weeks behind the other plant in terms of maturity. Maybe one more week with nutrients, then it will be flushed.
≈=============================================
🙈🙈🙈😬😮 you never stop learning!!! I bought a microscope attachment for my phone and tried it out today. Now I've seen that the plant which I thought needed longer is already done. It has some amber trichomes. It's getting tight, but I don't want to harvest without flushing. It needs to wait at least another week.
The other plant only has milky trichomes, so that one is going according to plan.
I can only recommend such an attachment for the phone camera. Less than 20 euros but really top-notch. I couldn't see that with my phone's macro setting. I'll show it in the photos.

Chef_LA Wow, I'm excited! My first regular fem. plants are bringing me great joy. Beautiful thick and long buds, especially the topped one exceeds my expectations by far. It was already flushed since last week and today I also started with the second one.
The topping really pays off, but I didn't expect such a difference. I'm curious to see what the scale shows.
Big shoutout to Sensi Seeds for such easy-to-grow plants. The genetics seem very mature and a little smoke test also turned out positive. More on that when they're properly dried.

Chef_LA The last three days before harvest. The plants have been well flushed, and now I'm letting them use up their last reserves. They are now in the tent without light, without water, and at 16 degrees for three days, then their time will have come. I will cut them at the stem and hang them upside down to dry for another three to five days.
The plant where I applied topping has a wet weight of 96g, the naturally grown one is 146g. The buds are super sticky and already smell pretty good. The test smoke was great (I only smoke with a vaporizer). Good taste, very relaxing without being totally stoned. I'm curious to see how they turn out once fully cured.
