Borberad In this project, we document the complete cultivation of the strain Nectar Drip, an exclusive collaboration between Tical Seeds (Method Man) and Zamnesia Seeds.
Nectar Drip, the promise:
Genetics:
Nectar Drip is based on modern, high-performance US genetics. Tical Seeds brings its focus on quality, terpene expression, and effect, while Zamnesia Seeds ensures stability and consistent phenotypes. The result is a strain that is both aromatic and structurally impressive.
Growth & Development:
The plants show robust, vigorous growth with good internode structure and pronounced lateral branching. Nectar Drip remains well controllable during stretch, making it suitable for indoor grows as well as protected outdoor setups.
Flowering Duration:
The flowering time averages 8 to 9 weeks, depending on environmental conditions and phenotype. During this phase, the strain produces compact, heavily resin-coated buds.
Color Development:
Visually, Nectar Drip predominantly displays rich green tones, often accompanied by purple to darker color nuances towards the end of flowering. The dense trichome coverage gives the buds a strongly shiny, almost "coated" appearance.
Terpene Profile:
The terpene profile is intense and complex. Sweet, fruity, and creamy notes are prominent, complemented by subtle gassy and earthy accents. The aroma overall feels very full and reminiscent of tropical fruit nectar with depth.
Effect:
The effect is described as balanced. It starts with a clear, mood-lifting cerebral effect and transitions into a relaxing, physical calm without being overly sedative.

The Start:
Week 1: The Germination Week
The germination of Drippy has begun.
* Day 0.1: After soaking for a maximum of 20 hours in 1% H₂O₂, the seed was planted in the substrate, [an Easy Plug]/[the coconut germination medium, a hole filled with about 100 ml of coconut in a 400 ml pot, surrounded by about 300 ml of Lightmix.]/[a Jiffitab]
* Day 0.2: The first patience phase begins. We are waiting for the seed to break its shell.
* Day 0.3/0.4: The first signs of life are visible. The seedling's cotyledons break through the substrate after we observed an initial bulge in the substrate surface. We then increased the DLI from about 12 to 16 to provide the seedling with enough light.
* Day 0.5: We removed the cover to lower the relative humidity to about 80% and increased the light intensity to 20 DLI.
* Day 0.6: Everything is under control. The plant shows vigorous growth. The first "true leaves" are unfolding.
* Day 0.7: The light dome has been removed. The relative humidity is now dropping to 60–65%, which encourages the plant to develop a strong root system.
* Fertilization & Measurements: No fertilizer or water needed.

Borberad Week 2:
The Birth of a Legend
Chilled Cherry has completed her germination week with impressive growth speed, and it should continue like this.. Our care in climate control (26 °C and 60–65% relative humidity) and the gradual light supply has perfectly prepared the plant for the upcoming veg phase. We will increase the DLI to 30 by the end of the week. The first 2 nodes have already grown, and the easy cube is being well received.
* Plant Condition: The plant is vibrant and has unfolded its first leaves. The stem is strong and compact.
* Important Events: Strong growth, so we will repot next week, and start watering with light additives. Further increasing the DLI to 30 by the end of the week.
* Nutrients & Measurements: Osmosis water 20 Micro Siemens fortified with Xpert Nutrients Calmag 2ml/L and 2.5ml/L Hesi Root and 0.5ml Xpert Silicaforce.
* Adjustments: The plant is growing fast and strong.
We can't complain about the growth, so the little one is moving into the easy cube. Closing the slots with coconut to keep it nice and light-tight in the root area, and to ensure the little flower stands firm.

Borberad Week 3
This week we're repotting into a 3L transplant pot. We're continuing with Herbie's Living Soil enriched with Zamnesia's Budmix at about 75% of the recommended amount. We're watering with osmosis water enriched with Xpert Calmag and Xpert Silicaforce to about 700 myS and with oak leaf extract at a lowered pH of 6.5.
Borberad Week 5
This week moving into the big tent. 800ppfd from the GCX9PWR straight after the nearly 300ppfd Spiderfarmer was probably a bit too intense. Sunburn².

Borberad Week 5
Day 37 We're starting the flowering phase, there's about 18 hours of darkness and then we'll switch to the 12/12 rhythm.
So far, I'm satisfied, the little plant is developing well. However, the stretch is taking its time, possibly also because of the nasty sunburn from a few days ago.
Beautiful fragrant pheno. Mandarin scent, nice growth, no complaints! Could have handled a bit more nutrients, that might have increased the yield and trichome production. Since it was organically fertilized, the influence remains small. 280g wet is enough to have to dispose of more than enough again.

Borberad Mandarin sorbet describes the scent of the last week quite well.
