SpankysMonkey This gonna get a little winded but here we go. This is Jackie and she's a very important girl for our grow. Whether by hubris, peer pressure or environmental failure far to many Jack Herer Fast seedlings died by my hands. This is the last paper towel germination I will ever perform for a number of reasons. Jackie was placed in a saturated paper towel containing a solution of 1% H2O2 water and Real Growers Recharge. Jackie started this journey on 12/21/25 @ 7:45am shortly after my Menard sourced seed mat exceeded 100* after a power outage. On 12/22/25 @ 5:25pm I was relieved to find that Jackie had already cracked open. Lost two other seedlings to transplant shock moving into cool media prior to this event. Overnight I heated a 16oz clear solo cup filled with my media mix(this is gonna be a problem much later). The morning of 12/23/25 @ 4:15am I planted Jackie in the warm medium and watered with diluted Cal/Mg(this isn't gonna help that problem) and Recharge. 12/25/25 @ 11:00am my last Jack Herer Fast seedling broke ground! For the first week everything seemed to be looking good.
I was gifted a great grow setup and my autism couldn't help itself I started buying the gear we needed and a few toys for me. I've had mild success in the past with a handful of low yield harvests from a 2x4 hand built box. That setup grow to include a smaller veg box, seedling starter system and and eventual failed cloning attempt. The plan here is to establish a healthy candidate and start cloning before flower. I had no idea how many seedlings I would kill along the way. So far this may still work out. The backbone of this setup is AC Infinity the great gear, awesome automations and that wicked app. I'm at work all day and access to the tents metrics has helped ease my mind. My media mix is Canna Coco 50%, Perlite 50%, Worm Castings 10%(this is the problem), Dolomitic Lime 1 tbsp per gal.
