Theo_Rehtisch - let both seeds soak in water for 24 hours - then transferred to damp paper towels, placed in a mini greenhouse, everything nicely moistened - mini greenhouse placed in the grow tent, currently around 23°C/62% RH during the day (already with 2 prepared 25L fabric pots filled with about 70% compost soil & the remaining mix of coconut fiber & perlite, pots already growing with clover) After the last attempt (1x GMO & 1x Gelato, plus a surprise seed) failed spectacularly, here’s the 2nd attempt. As soon as the seed shells have fully broken through (hopefully tomorrow), the seeds will be transplanted into 200ml plastic pots with seedling soil.

Theo_Rehtisch 2025-12-26 -Germination went smoothly & equally fast for both newcomers -decided against the transition plastic cups, instead planted directly -dug planting holes of about 0.5-1L each & filled with light vegetable soil, planted in it -planting holes only lightly moistened, cut 1L bottles placed over them as a greenhouse -one Drip-Blumat per pot, set to about 2 drops/minute, that will stay like this overnight -in the morning, the Blumats will be turned down by just under 1/4 turn, then the soil moisture should be right From then on, it's all about hope and anxiety! From then on, the two babies will have to fend for themselves for 8 days. I will try to keep the room temperature at about 18°C at night/22°C during the day. It will show how that works, the heating is smart enough & possibly remotely adjustable. Nevertheless, for safety, the 900W heater will remain in the tent. It can also be used remotely with a routine for temperature control if necessary. But if it works well for the room with just the apartment heating (which I assume), then it should work. Next update will probably be no earlier than 1/3/2026 - until then, I wish the whole community a nice New Year's time & a good start into the New Year!

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-01-04(Un)Happy New Year! -both seedlings have survived under their domes, but are poorly developed (Gelato) to pitiful (GMO) in condition -both do not look vital, leaf coloring is again turning yellow, with the GMO having brown leaf tips -the environmental conditions were quite good according to records (humidity always over 60%, temperatures between 18 and 24°C), soil moisture at the bottom of the pot in the lower, green range (fabric pots slightly damp at the bottom outside, edges dry) -and to top it all off, there’s now also a fungus gnat infestation Since the tent climate was actually perfect & this time there was definitely no overwatering, the poor development is likely due to the substrate. In any case, it has pests, so nematodes will be ordered immediately. It’s possible that the full 75 watts of LED power was too much, despite the bottle domes. And it must have been quite humid under the domes, the stunted GMO leaves could be an indication. Therefore, the domes were removed & LED adjusted to about 45 watts. In the best case, Gelato might somehow regain strength, but nothing will likely be saved with the GMO.... --- Update 2026-01-08 -both fabric pots disposed of/converted to 2x 9-liter PVC pots with 1/3 BB Allmix (bottom) and 2/3 BB Lightmix -both plants were carefully rinsed in water to remove all old substrate remnants as best as possible -subsequent repotting into the new pots The nematode delivery is still delayed, so now a "emergency surgery" as a last chance for the two ladies. There is still hope for the Gelato that it might go well. If the GMO also manages to pull through, it would be a miracle. As a precaution, I’ve already germinated 3x Critical Kush seeds from last year's outdoor grow as a backup. So in a way, it’s almost lucky that one plant slightly hermied back then. Caluma LED is currently running at about 35 watts, at a distance of 40cm this results in a PPFD of about 400. In the coming days, 4 AC Infinity IONBEAM U4 UV LEDs will be added.

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-01-10: Tough Fighters -for me, it's quite astonishing: Both plants seem to have coped well with the repotting, including the previous rinsing -ironically, the GMO seems to be the one recovering faster, its tiny leaves are turning a vibrant dark green again -my latest toy for the little grower in me is 4 AC Infinity Ionbeam U4 -hung these up first for a basic setup around the pots, LED bottom edge about 5cm above the top edge of the pots, full brightness during the light cycle -Caluma 75W is used for overall regulation, set to almost maximum height in the tent & dimmed down to just 25W, resulting in about 400 PPFD for the two accident victims -filled water vessels around the pots to increase humidity, the stagnant contents can be used to refill the water tank -all water exchanged/tank cleaned & refilled -water reservoir set to a minimal PH-Down of 6.25 One shouldn't praise the day before the evening, but so far, the two definitely do not look like the walking dead; instead, they seem to be slowly recovering. The GMO even seems to be doing better than the Gelato. We'll have to wait and see; this is just a snapshot for now. The fact that repotting was a necessary move is shown by the circumstance that the nematodes ordered a week ago still haven't been delivered. In the old setup, nothing would have been salvageable, and in the worst-case scenario, the backup would have been affected too. This is still available in the form of a set of 3 Critical Kush seedlings, but they are slowly raising question marks: 24-hour germination in a glass of water & subsequent planting in their mini germination pots was about 48 hours ago, and nothing is happening yet. But again, time will tell what the deal is. After all, these are not purchased branded seeds, but self-grown ones ;-) ... so a high rejection rate is to be expected. Today, for the first time, I prepared a 2L nutrient solution with BB Grow & Fishmix, both at 50% of the recommended amount. Both pots have been very gently and steadily moistened over the last few days to reduce stress, mostly just with a pump spray. Since both plants are now looking quite good considering all circumstances, the soil moisture should shift from the still slightly dry area to medium soil moisture. Each has received about 700ml of the nutrient solution, the rest will be given tomorrow. The 30L reservoir for the Blumat has also been refilled. Initial values: -local waterworks data: PH 7, EC 700, Magnesium 8.5 mg/l -PH & EC confirmed by my own measurements Then PH-Down was added, values afterward: -PH 6.25, EC 180, PPM 360 -dissolved 7.5g of Epsom salt into the 30L, resulting in final values: PH 6.25, EC 180, PPM 360 --- Addendum 2026-01-11: -the first Critical Kush has sprouted -for maximum humidity, since yesterday there has been no active intake or exhaust -during the day, this keeps it consistently over 65% at about 25°C, thus VPD 0.75 --- Addendum 2026-01-12: -all 3 Critical Kush have now seen the light of the LEDs -each repotted in about 200ml of BB Lightmix -the new Ionbeam LEDs are still emitting quite an unpleasant smell, so exhaust is set to 5/55min on/off around the clock

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-01-16 Business as usual -GMO & especially the Gelato are recovering very well -the 3 Critical Kush are also developing very well -light & nutrient plan for the current week only calls for 2.5ml FishMix per 1.75L of manual watering -according to plan, the Caluma distance has been reduced to 70cm, still dimmed so that about 450 PPFD reaches the plants -this will hopefully slightly increase the temperatures & thus the evaporation from the water reservoirs -the gifted Chili-Willy seed hasn't progressed in the original germination pot - moved to new germination substrate All in all, no special occurrences, contrary to expectations, even the GMO girl is recovering very well. However, the Kush girls are closely following her, and a decision may need to be made as early as next week: Which 3 plants stay & who has to go? --- 2026-01-21 -all 5 are developing faster than expected, so 2 days ago one of the Critical Kush was transplanted into its 9L final pot -also, restructuring in the tent, exhaust fan removed & 92mm fan@5Volt directly blowing into the carbon filter, which is now located outside -first topping on the Gelato -clover sown in all pots That went faster than expected: Just 2 days ago, the 3rd plant had to be selected & potted (more plants don't make sense in 60x60). It wasn't the largest of the 3 propagated plants, but actually the smallest. The largest shows slight deformities & color changes on its biggest leaves. The second largest has somewhat irregular growth, the leaves of the 2nd node are noticeably different in size, the smaller leaf looks almost stunted. Nevertheless, both are still hanging in there as backups. The Gelato is literally exploding & thus, already 2 days ago, the first topping was due. It seems to have handled it very well, it's powering on nicely. Since the duct fan had become noticeably too loud for me, it was completely removed from the setup. It was still clearly audible even at the lowest setting & regulated over the transformer to 155 volts. A new carbon filter is now on the upper tent outlet, secured from below over the tent frame with a cross brace. Almost directly attached to it via a duct connection flange is a 92mm fan blowing in & sealed with foam rubber. The fan runs at 5 volts & its static pressure is more than enough to direct the airflow in the shortest way into the carbon filter & from there to the outside. It works so well that the exhaust currently only needs to run for 5 minutes per hour. If it runs more, the humidity drops too low, but I want to keep it as high as possible above 60%. Thus, the workspace is again suitable for silence & the missing duct fan saves about 25 watts.

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-01-23 It's going well! -All 3 potted mini-ladies are doing great -The backup is also growing nicely, slowly developing some separation anxiety -The setup renovation has also proven effective -The Gelato shows no signs of stress since the topping 3 days ago -The GMO was topped today -For the potted Critical, it's still too early for topping, but it will definitely happen during the week -pH in the reservoir rose by 0.5 during the week to 6.7, adjusted down to 6.0 with pH-Down, no additional Epsom salt -EC/PPM is at 390/780 Everything is going great, exhaust is now set to 15/45min on/off, keeping the humidity at about 60% day/70% night. The substrate of the Gelato and the GMO is slowly developing moss and lichen growth, so the bloom lights were turned down for now. Now the clover needs to develop and show what it can do against the growth. The exhaust may need to be slightly increased during the week. One of the two backup plants (the largest of all 3 Criticals) is developing "interesting" mutations: The large leaves show a distinct dark blue shimmer in places (unfortunately hard to capture well with a smartphone camera). And even its newest shoots are developing a "color play," with clear copper and brown tones visible, and at the very early stage, there is also a bluish shimmer. This blue coloration has been there from the start, so it can't be related to a possibly slowly depleted substrate in the small 200ml cup. Let's see where this leads - as long as no roots are coming out of the drainage holes, the two backups will stay put for now.

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-01-30 Little drama, but great development! - unfortunately, one of the main shoots on the Gelato broke off during LST - all 3 plants have now completed their first topping for several days and are completely unfazed by it - additionally, all the lowest shoots have already been removed, they aren’t getting any light anyway and the leaves were partially lying on the ground - pH adjustment in the reservoir to EC 0.88/pH 6.3 - light (effective) still at 500PPM, was briefly close to 600, which together with the low pH value was a bit too much of a good thing - exhaust on a 10/10-minute rhythm on/off, keeping about 60% RH at 24-25°C during the light phase - all in all, very good growth in all 3 plants now As can be seen in the pictures from last week (completely different hue), a different smartphone was briefly in use. Unfortunately, the Photone app also provided different (lower) readings there, so I mistakenly slightly increased the light output. In particular, the GMO now shows (besides slight mutations on 2 of the leaves, which will be monitored further!) a deep green color with a slight blue tint, indicating a too low pH value (6.0) in conjunction with too high light output. This means that iron and manganese are being absorbed extremely well, which can lead to blue coloring. So, I increased the pH value in the water reservoir to 6.3. Epsom salt application of 7.5mg on a 30L reservoir, thus EC 0.88 & considering the official values from my local waterworks, an optimal CalMag ratio should be given. Especially with such analyses & questions, AI can be extremely helpful! I also slightly reduced the light output again, so that after measuring with the previous smartphone, PPFD is back to 500. This should now be optimal for the ongoing veg phase. The adjustments mentioned above took place the day before yesterday & since then the plants are almost exploding. The soil moisture probes are now completely off, they’re only showing nonsense anyway. The next topping will probably be in the next 2 or 3 days, otherwise too many nodes will develop in the meantime. If everything continues like this, the start of the flowering phase will also be significantly earlier than the originally planned March 1st. Since unfortunately, a shoot on the Gelato broke off while bending down, the remaining 3 main shoots now have to "perform more." I will probably top again after the 3rd node for each. Perhaps the now forming triangle or third shape will even be a slight advantage regarding growth & the distribution/separation from the other plants...

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-02-06: It's going well! - Another accident with LST on the Gelato, but she took it completely unfazed - 2nd and final topping round completed, now just 1 week of Vegi & then switching to flowering - Continuing regular defoliation & LST - pH rose to 6.8 during the week, adjusted the reservoir to pH 6.2 and with Epsom salt to EC 0.92 - Light (effective) at 650 PPM now, will be gradually adjusted towards 800 over the coming week - Exhaust modification for more reserves on Arctiv P12 blowing in direct push operation via adapter in the new, larger carbon filter with 150mm connection It's getting tight in the tent as the girls are growing rapidly. So the light change needs to happen soon, in a week at the latest.

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-02-20: Grenzgänger -The stretch is in full swing & the first stigmas are showing -During the week, I gradually reduced the distance of the LED & increased the power at the Caluma, so that the target PPFD of 800 has already been reached or exceeded yesterday with about 850 -GMO & Kush are each showing a deformation/mutation, so I dialed it back to PPFD 800, which corresponds to about 44cm distance/65 W@Caluma -There are some isolated signs of munching on a few leaves, and I discovered a pest in the tent yesterday, ordered nematodes -Massive fertilizer application with the above values, distributed 1.75L twice a week across all 3 plants (plus water@PH 6.2 via Blumat) Everything is going great, this grow is really fun now. Nutrient supply & light are (deliberately!) at the limit (without CO2), but all 3 girls are responding gratefully & are practically exploding. That's why daily LST corrections & defoliations are necessary, the tent is already quite full. However, since a mutation has now also occurred on the Kush, I estimate (and so does the AI) that the plants are "running at the limit" due to the high light & nutrient levels, or already slightly over. Therefore, it will stay at PPFD 800 as the maximum.

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-02-27 KI News, latest edition! Out of laziness and maybe more often in the future because I'm really fascinated by how well this works! Today, the AI-generated summary + further planning. 1. Analysis of tank & light values (as of 27.02.) -PH: The value in the reservoir has risen from 6.23 to 6.6, which is still acceptable for soil, but the absolute upper limit for optimal nutrient uptake (especially for phosphorus and micronutrients) - Recommendation: If you refill the tank soon, aim for a pH of 5.8 - 6.0 for the fresh water to push the average in the medium back towards 6.3. (Actually, I want to empty the reservoir further here, so no refilling & just regulation using pH Down to 5.9) EC/PPM (900 / 450): Absolutely stable. The plants are taking up exactly as much fertilizer as they consume water. The system is in balance. Light (800 PPFD / 55cm): Through the Scrog net and the dimming, we have a very secure and even light distribution. 55 cm distance at 800 PPFD is ideal to avoid "light stress," while flower production (stigma formation) is now really picking up speed. 2. Scrog net & canopy management In the new pictures, you can see how well the net distributes the shoots. For the most effective distribution, adjustments are made daily, including tucking. Optimal ventilation is still being ensured, with temperature-adjusted fresh air coming from below through the drying boxes, and from above, 2x 12cm Xilence fans@9V are working. Exhaust pressure has been further optimized by now having 2x Arctic P12@9V in series. It's now pushing so hard into the carbon filter that the fabric covering of the filter is noticeably bulging ;-) Thus, optimal air circulation with still nicely growth-promoting 60% RH. 3. Pest management (nematodes) Today, about 6 million SF nematodes were applied, distributed across all 3 plants. The soil surface will now be kept moist in the coming days using a spray pump and then continuously over the clover, which should provide the nematodes with perfect conditions. 4. Outlook In the coming days, the transition to full bloom will take place. The focus is now definitively shifting from leaf growth to flower mass. Next planned mixtures for manual fertilizer application (on 1.75l, 2x during the week): FishMix: 4.0 ml (will be further reduced) Bio-Grow: 3.0 ml (takes over the nitrogen base) Bio-Bloom: 7.5 ml (dose slightly increased for bud advancement) Top-Max: 4.0 ml Epsom salt: 0.5 g pH target of the watering can: 6.2 In summary: Your plants look extremely healthy. The stigmas (white hairs) are visible everywhere, and the leaf color is a perfect, vibrant green. The mutation on the GMO seems to have integrated through the Scrog net and the optimized light climate or at least is no longer a concern.

Nematoden-Einsatz scheinbar erfolgreich. Technik & Werte: Licht/Klima: Lampe auf 55 cm (~800 PPFD) stabilisiert. Abluft & Ventilation auf 7V reduziert Wasser: Reservoir-PH auf 5,6 (Drift-Korrektur). Reservoirstand aktuell ca. 15 Liter. Ausblick: Nährstoff-Wechsel: FishMix-Stopp Blüten-Fokus: Erhöhung auf 8,5 ml Bloom und 5,0 ml Top-Max (pro 1,75l Kanne), um die anlaufende Harzproduktion zu füttern

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-03-13 As good as it gets! -Lollipopping & complete defoliation on the clover 2 days ago -since then, humidity has been consistently between 50 & 55% (day/night) -still focusing on nutrients for flower development, so Topmax is slightly increased The stretch is significantly more pronounced in the Kush, but the height differences between the 3 plants are generally still less than 10cm. So that's still okay for now, but it shouldn't get any bigger. Further tucking is hardly possible now, the stems are starting to lignify. Moreover, almost all net squares are already double occupied & even outside the net, some serious "flower hotspots" have formed, so there's quite a traffic jam on the flower highway... ;-) The trichomes are now multiplying almost explosively & a nice haze is developing, the Gelato seems to be the sweetest at first glance. However, it also has the darkest leaves & due to the higher contrast, the first impression is a bit misleading. The macro shots show roughly an equal standing between Kush & Gelato, while the GMO is lagging a bit behind. This is surprising at first glance, as nominally it has the shortest flowering time. However, I also had the impression that it noticed the light switch between Grow and Bloom significantly later than its 2 companions. But anyway: All 3 girls look really very promising, I can hardly take my eyes off them already! More "exciting" scents are forming, especially the Gelato smells intense & absolutely wonderful. There’s definitely some confirmation bias in there, but actually, one of the first associations was a lovely vanilla ice cream. I’m incredibly curious about the taste when vaping!

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-03-27: Resin Explosion The stretch is officially over. The ladies have stopped their vertical growth and are now switching to 100% flower production and resin formation. The canopy is wonderfully uniform and dense, and the scents are becoming more intense. Increased the entire exhaust and intake setup from 7.5 to 9V. Therefore, and due to the currently very dry weather with night frost, the humidity and night temperatures in the tent are also dropping. The chances are looking good that the girls are slowly getting into autumn mood and will beautifully color up in the final stretch. Today, due to a small pH adjustment accident, I refilled the reservoir with clear tap water to 30 liters. Thus, I reached 5.6 again at the end with enough headroom for the typical drift during the week. Water consumption has noticeably decreased compared to the previous week. 🔧 Equipment or Construction Upgrade The relatively loosely hanging ion beams and especially the unsightly cable mess around the tent (due to the connection cables) have been annoying long enough (every height adjustment became a task), so that’s finally over. 4 rail tracks, a few screws and nuts, and some short MacGyver flashbacks have turned into a custom frame. The 4 ion beams are now securely placed around the Caluma. Optimal cable management (the cable connectors are completely eliminated) and much better lighting. So happy with that! 🔬 Trichome Analysis All 3 are predictably 100% clear and glassy. The AI and I agree that none of the ladies will meet the flowering time specified by the respective breeder. All plants will likely need at least another 3-4 weeks, but according to the forecast, the GMO, for example, would be finished in just over 2 weeks. 💧 Nutrient & Treatment Plan (Week 7/8) Since the girls will be standing longer and look extremely vital, we will continue with the nutrient peak recipe uninterrupted, just like in the last two weeks. Foliar feeding with Epsom salt solution via spray will continue for one more week, after which it will be completely stopped to avoid mold.

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-04-04 Final Stretch & Sprint Little surprise: The first amber trichomes are showing on the Kush. She managed the switch from Veg to Bloom the fastest and was therefore the early developer among the three from the start - but the fact that she's already this far surprises me. She might be harvested as early as next week, in any case, she will only get water from now on and no more nutrients. The Gelato is also developing surprisingly quickly. Since she has developed the most haze by far, her buds are now wrapped in a sea of milky trichomes. There are hardly any clear trichomes left to be seen. If it continues like this, she might need another 2 weeks - and would still be a week faster than indicated. The GMO is clearly lagging behind. Nominally, she would be "ready" in about 4 days, but in reality, she is still quite far from maturity. She still has the most clear trichomes, so she will continue to get the full nutrient boost. I'm curious to see when she starts to put on her autumn coat and color the leaves...

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-04-10 Autumn Colors & The Great Flush 🍂🚿 Welcome to autumn! This week was all about the play of colors and some amazing timing. Contrary to all breeder indications (the GMO is theoretically already overdue), all three ladies have decided to head into the final stretch at exactly the same time. While the Kush has stagnated a bit in trichome development, it is now beautifully coloring its leaves. The GMO is following suit, only the Gelato seems to not want to change and remains green. And speaking of "color": we are now also seeing some isolated golden-brown trichomes on the GMO and Gelato. As suspected before, the girls took different amounts of time to switch from veg to bloom. But the fact that all three are finishing up pretty much at the same time is quite a funny coincidence... but I’ll gladly take it as a stroke of luck for harvest logistics and untangling the buds from the net! Since the weather allowed it, the window was mostly left open, which brought the nighttime temperatures in the tent down to a cool average of 15-16 °C (around 20-21 °C during the day). This temperature drop has worked exactly as hoped: the girls know it's coming to an end and are now pushing everything they can into resin production. They are also wonderfully drawing from the leaves. The water consumption confirms the final stage, it is noticeably decreasing. The ladies' metabolism is clearly in end-of-life mode. Strategy for the finale: Last Wednesday, there was the final feeding. Since then, there’s only been pH-adjusted water directly from the reservoir via the Blumat system. The last GMO and Kush took about 7 to 10 days from this stage until harvest. And the Gelato also looks like it will be ready then. So: 5 more days of water, then the Blumats will be turned off, and the plants will be left in the normal light cycle for another 3 days, then harvest. Let’s see what next week’s update says about this plan... ;-) But one way or another: The end is near! ✂️

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-04-17: The Finale Begins At least the Kush and the GMO are sticking to last week's plan - they are ready for harvest. Both are showing beautiful purple and violet tones, with the Kush's yellowing fan leaves making the contrast even more striking. Starting today, there will be no more water for either of them; depending on their condition (especially the leaves), they will be chopped down in 3 to 5 days. The Gelato is still lagging a bit (only a few amber trichomes), but it more than makes up for it with its sheer mass of trichomes. The quantity and density are truly breathtaking! Adjustments in the setup: To signal the plants even more about the approaching "sunset," the Caluma was turned down from 75W to 65W (the IonBeams are still running at full power), and the light cycle was reduced from 13/11 to 12/12. Next stop: Harvest Festival! ✂️🍂

Absolute keeper for people like me who love fruity notes! At first glance, the plants seem just "meh" because they don't get as frosty as some other genetics. However, they turn a beautiful color (at the right temperatures) and develop wonderfully thick buds that more than make up for it! Super intense fruitiness during the flowering phase, which during drying and especially curing (due to the intensity) almost borders on being unpleasant. Honestly: It regularly ends up being the last one left in my multi-genetic grows because I feel a bit grossed out by the intensity during curing/burping. But at the latest after grinding, you realize: You were so wrong! No, it's not too much, it's just right! And I mean just right, in every way: Beautifully resinous, intense vape with great flavor, then a long-lasting head high, extreme relaxation & intense couch-lock. Definitely not for social gatherings, more for unwinding on already stressful days. But also your best buddy when you have nothing to do and just want to chill!

Theo_Rehtisch 2026-04-24 Harvest good, all good! - harvested Kush & Gelato 4 days ago - today then the Gelato Removed from the tent and untangled from the net, the plants look quite small when viewed individually. I really need to break the habit of over-supplying the plants with light. The node spacing is extremely tight, which leads to the compact and short stature appearance. What seems beautiful and desirable at first glance causes problems during watering or even lollipopping because it's just hard to reach everything. Additionally, the lower and inner parts of the plants are heavily shaded as a result. In the next run, I will try (again) to work with a bit less light and let the plants grow larger. The problem is: The 9-liter pots might also just be limiting. Therefore, the next run will again be an attempt in 25L fabric pots. That went horribly wrong last time... but hey, face your demons! ;-) But anyway, ultimately all 3 have become top-healthy girls with a wonderful smell, nice firm buds, and little trimming needed. Each plant's wet trim was done in less than 5 minutes (just hand plucking) and probably hardly any dry trim will be needed. The drying conditions are far from optimal (way too dry, way too warm), but that can't be changed (without significant effort), so what. I skipped weighing the wet mass or it wasn't remotely reliably possible since the plants were harvested whole and hung to dry. All in all, I'm guessing about 50g dry weight per plant, with Kush & Gelato likely more if all goes well. Again, let's see what the next update brings in 7 days - by then, Kush & GMO should have long switched to curing.

Very spicy, slightly sharp aroma, also a pungent smell - definitely not for everyone! The effect is wonderfully relaxing, long-lasting, and slightly invigorating. Just for the unique aroma alone, it's definitely worth a recommendation!

your exhaust is almost as funny as mine back then, I just hung a 12' regular clamp fan underneath. hihi, I was a bit dumber than you, because these things apparently aren't designed to rotate freely upwards lol. 3 days and a whirring noise that still annoys me today lol. well, I should have opened my tower and taken a fan from it.

@RakonGrow, no worries, I know that all too well! Some theoretical "lightbulb moment life hack" quickly turns into something between disillusionment and horror when put into practice... ;-) But the cool thing about it is that you can almost always learn something from it and improve on the basic idea (which often isn't completely stupid)!

Do you check trichomes in the dark or do you leave the grow light on? I always have clear trichomes, but when they appear white under the grow light, it seems to be reflections.

@RakonGrow, I always keep the grow LED on. I use both a smartphone and an analog microscope, and in both cases, I try to keep the LEDs of the microscopes on as well. In my opinion, this time it’s true: more is more. The more light, the more (possible) contrast to the background (usually green leaves). I notice this best with the analog microscope.

Weighing wet with the stem and branches isn't really that problematic. I weighed them by size, so just the branch (with the stem chopped off near the ground) is about 120cm and weighs around 190g, while at 100cm it's 160g. The few leaves that are still on (if you just partially strip them) lose only a little weight. A hanging scale would be pretty cool though :) But I haven't really found anything good and cheap in that weight range.
