Barely is a socio-political compromise reached, and the emergency stop button is already being sought. Cannabis regulated? Withdrawal! Modernizing participation? Skepticism! Life realities changing? Alarm! The argument follows a tried-and-true pattern: Individual percentages are dramatized, complex developments are reduced to buzzwords, and in the end, it sounds as if the greatest threat to the republic is a statistical anomaly. The real question is not whether one thinks cannabis is good. But whether politics is capable of regulating reality – or prefers to nostalgically dream of being able to prohibit it. Social policy is not a local museum! Those who confuse regulation with trivialization also confuse responsibility with outrage!

From our last stop in the USA, we're flying back to Germany, crossing the globe – and of course, we're making a quick stop in Thailand. Just a few years ago, the country was considered one of the strictest in the world, then suddenly came the big legalization wave with thousands of shops and cannabis menus on every street corner. And now? Well… let's just say the bureaucracy has had its say again. 😅 Currently, there's talk again about prescription requirements, medical use, and stricter rules. So Thailand is somewhere between "Weed Paradise" and "Paperwork Jungle." Perfect material for a few pictures... Let's see where the journey goes next… 🌍✈️🌿

The law was supposed to push back the black market – but in practice, it stifles legal alternatives. Clubs are struggling with regulations, costs, and security requirements at Fort Knox level. On-site consumption? Forbidden. Community? Almost impossible. 👉 They allow clubs – but not what makes them special. Homegrow? Allowed, but simultaneously tightly regulated. Effective – but politically hampered. And the third pillar is completely missing: Commercial dispensaries are not coming. No widespread legal market. It’s clear: Medicine, homegrow, and clubs have long taken demand away from the black market. But without real distribution, everything remains patchwork. 👉 Half legalization = half effect.
