Hey everyone, The oldest Chitral cannabis bred line I have access to was collected before 1970. It carries verifiable records of the acquisition of pure unhybridized seeds from the regions famous landrace. These display the cold resistant traits of the 1500 meter and higher altitude of upper Chitral. The accounts cover the collection itself including the logistics of getting them out of Pakistan and their careful preservation in a historical record. Later seed banks such as Cannabiogen/ACE/ whos unverifiable story begins in the 1990s and those that followed simply commercialized and mass marketed lines from the same valley. Their marketing claims do not rewrite or negate the factual timeline of these early collections of original material decades prior. The pre-1970 sample collection stands as authentic primary evidence of Western acquisition of pure Chitrali cannabis before modern hybridization altered the valley’s agricultural landscape. These genetics can be seen as the last pure examples possible to be collected. Documented and verifiable collections before this date are unknown to me and I have found no evidence that any exist. This is not another pack of the usual claimed PCK that has been worked and reworked since the nineties. This is material from a time when the plants still carried the full character of that high mountain region before outside genetics began to change everything. Holding seeds like these means holding something that almost slipped away completely. Most people will never even know this line existed in this form let alone get the chance to grow it out and see what the old pure expression actually looked and smelled like. I keep the paperwork, messages, the breeders packaging, postal packaging, the recorded calls to retain the intact chain of custody . The seed morphology that matches the regional data. Chain of custody matters if the goal is real preservation rather than just another story. I will grow this line out in full view and post the progressive updates the males the females and a proper smoke report. The plants themselves will show what they are. Anyone who understands how rare true old world material has become will recognize why this feels different. These are not seeds you find every day and they are not meant for casual curiosity. They represent a direct link to a moment in time that closed long ago. Watching them grow is a chance to reconnect with something that was nearly lost and to see for yourself why authenticity still matters.
