Reeflove 🌱 Grow Diary – Week 1 (Seedling / Establishment) Strain: Fast Buds 1:1 Grow Type: Living Organic Soil (LOS) Container: Large soil bed / tray Light Schedule: 24/0 (seedling phase) Planted: Tuesday, December 16, 2025 @ 8:00 PM (sprouted seeds into soil) ⸻ Week 1 Summary Week one focused on establishment and recovery. Seeds were germinated using the paper towel method, then planted into living soil. Both seedlings emerged successfully, though they experienced a few common early-seedling challenges including seed membrane retention (“helmet head”), uneven emergence timing, and very dry soil conditions early on. One plant required manual removal of the membrane, and the other leaned briefly before being gently corrected and supported by firmer soil contact. No nutrients were used. Watering was kept light and intentional to re-establish moisture without saturating the root zone. Despite a slow visual pace, both plants are green, upright, and showing early true leaf development. ⸻ Environment (AC Infinity) • Temperature: ~77°F • Humidity: ~70–71% • Airflow: Gentle, continuous • Domes: • Plant #2 dome removed • Plant #1 dome still on (transitioning off slowly) ⸻ 🌱 Medium & Setup • Living organic soil bed • Large soil volume with mulch • Direct-seeded into soil ⸻ 💧 Watering • Early soil was extremely dry; moisture was reintroduced gradually • Finger test confirmed dryness through profile • Dec 25 @ 12:37 PM: 2 oz water per plant • Watering kept light and localized to avoid overwatering ⸻ Feeding • None (seedling stage) ⸻ 👀 Observations • Plant #1: • Cotyledons open • True leaves forming • Recovered after membrane removal • Plant #2: • Cotyledons open • True leaves visible • Brief early lean corrected; stem firming up Both plants remain green with intact growth tips and no signs of damping-off. ⸻ Actions Taken • Gradual dome removal for Plant #2 • Manual membrane removal for Plant #1 • Light corrective watering • Gentle soil firming around stem when needed

Reeflove Week 3 Grow Diary (Days 15–21 from Emergence) Both autoflower plants continued transitioning from early seedling establishment into vegetative growth during Week 3. Growth has remained compact rather than tall, with steady increases in leaf mass and active new growth at the apical sites. Plant #2 continues to lead in size and vigor, while Plant #1 remains smaller due to a slightly later emergence and setbacks (seed head stayed on too long then the membrane stayed on for another day) but shows healthy color and structure. Environment was gradually refined this week. The light schedule is set to 20/4, and light intensity was increased incrementally, finishing the week around 170–180 PPFD. Temperatures stayed in the mid-to-upper 70s with humidity adjusted downward toward the low 60s as the plants matured. Airflow remained gentle and consistent. Watering stayed conservative and intentional to encourage root development. The bed was watered evenly and included Rootwise products and horticultural aloe for biological support. No heavy nutrient drenches have been applied yet, allowing the living soil to remain the primary driver of growth. Overall plant health is good. Internode spacing is tight, and growth rate appears to be increasing as roots establish more fully. Entering Week 4, the focus will be on maintaining consistency, observing the response to increased light, and preparing for the first light vegetative feeding per Build-A-Soil recommendations.

Reeflove Week 4 Grow Diary (All constructive criticism welcome) Week four confirmed that these autos entered flower on schedule but without having built enough vegetative mass beforehand. While flowering timing appears normal for an 8–9 week cultivar, overall plant size is significantly smaller than desired, particularly for Plant #2, which is now flowering at roughly teacup size. Plant #1 remains noticeably smaller and less vigorous. Growth throughout the first three weeks was healthy but slow. Leaves remained dark green and structurally sound, with no major environmental stressors identified. However, by the time flowering initiated, both plants lacked sufficient node count, canopy width, and stem mass to support meaningful yield. I think this points to insufficient early momentum rather than an acute stress event. Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week, with appropriate temperature, humidity, and light levels. Light intensity was increased gradually, but the plants had already committed to flowering before any late adjustments could influence structure or size. They remained squat in stature so I am pretty sure they got enough light. Raising the PAR level seems to have had no effect. GPT seems to think that since I direct sowed the seed in my grass roots tray to grow bed that the seeds had too much room and never focused on vertical growth. I'm not sure if this is possible or not. Mostly, i'm learning that GPT doesn't know nearly as much as it thinks it does, and if anything, this makes it more human which isn't necessarily a good thing. Going forward, these plants will be allowed to finish with minimal intervention, serving as data points rather than yield-focused specimens. I have already popped my next run which is Diesel Dessert from Triangle Hemp.

Reeflove This plant is not much of a concern for me. It's not going to produce anything worth consuming. I haven't been successful with auto's yet. There is a lot of advice out there that contradict each other. For instance. GPT thinks I shouldn't have direct seeded these in such a big pot. I should have started them in Solo cups and transplanted but many say you shouldn't do that. I'm so new to growing that I'm sure this is something I did and not the genetics; although, I'm not sure what is was. I will continue to post on this plant until I cull or it finishes just for experimental purposes. my 10 day old photo seedlings from Triangle Hemp are already bigger than this. I'm starting that diary entry today.

I don't like that I have to leave a strain score. I'm way too new to say this grow had anything to do with the strain, but I also don't know what cause the failure of this grow so I cannot accurately review the strain. Alas, grow diaries says I must rate the strain.

Hi it looks as tho the soil might be too rich, very deep green leaves and later on lots of burn. Ive heard with living soil you should let it cook abit before planting. Ive got some autos which are quite small but during flower they do grow pack on. Anyway sorry for your loss.

;) Terp
