Republishing under a different username for reasons known only to me. This is an outdoor shed grow in Melbourne. Average shed temp has been from 30c and as low as 12c this week. Struggling especially with the cold. I should add this is a covert grow from all in my house, wife and kids I clouded and hence why it is I the garden shed

Cold night time temps have really set in this week. It's been as cold as 5c (41F) in my garden shed where I'm growing but have managed to keep tent temperatures, lights om between 19 - 25 (66 -77 F) lights off during the day between 19 & 20c. Things really got bushy this week as I contunued LST which was started at the end of week 3. So much new growth which I'm sure will end up turning into tasty buds. Considering the conditions I'm really happy with this grow. No fertilizer has been used and I'm planning keep feet free with the entire grow as I've gone with water only living organics soil which I'm hoping will bring the results I'm after and is hassle free. https://easyasorganics.com.au/product/water-only-organic-soil-blend/ Both Tube heaters have been hard at work keeping the grow environment happy...I wish I could get just a little more heat but when it's this cold it's impossible. Moving the tent to any other location is also impossible. Please comment on what u think as this is the first indoor grow In done. Also, apologies for the purple haze in the pics. I'm taking these late at night while the lights are on. I don't want to switch off lights, wait for them to cool b4 switching back on for a few pics. The plant I can say for sure is a healthy green.

Easy week with stable temps. Just watered a couple, still no fertilizer and the way it's looking the soil should produce all the nutrients required. Further LST mid week and I'm starting to see a nice even canopy with plenty of new bud sites. I think I may have gone s little too heavy or too soon with the first LST as super wide and bushy it is. That's a 25 liter 5 gallon pot and it's all plant. I think my grow tent will just squeeze this baby in once full grown. I'm really hoping for 100g out of this. I really dont smoke too much any more. Once harvested my next challenge will he storing the bud long term . Maybe 2 years. Last time I grew I vacuumed sealed the cured bud and refrigerated and had no issues with quality when storing long term

The temp reall got cold this week. Coldest may day in over 20 years with temps outside my grow tent between 11c/54F and 6c/44F on 2 days. These sort of temps outside the tent really made it hard to maintain heat but my tube heaters really worked magic. Lights on temp just a little under 20 and lights off which is during the day around 17. A little on the cold side I know but it was only for brief periods. Apart from the 2 cold days I've really done well maintaining the temps. More heavy LST this week. LST, 1 day recovery, more heavy LST and now just recovery. I'm really happy with the canopy now, nice and even, plenty of bud sites so now I think I'll leave this baby run wild the way nature intends. Still no fertilizer used and shes looking so healthy in every way. This living organics soil I got for the grow even though it wasn't cheap is delivery exactly what the marketing spiel promised. Beats mixing up fertilizer constantly. Yes, maybe yield could be bigger with fert but I just wanted to keep things simple. Water intake is definitely up too...this plants really liking a drink and gave it a really good soaking 2 days ago which did wonders. Oh well ..I'm past the half way mark anyhow. I just hope this bud is better than the shit my next door neighbor gave me yesterday. He was speaking the buds with fert till the day before harvest and it tastes like shit. Any comments, criticism please feel free and thanks for reading.

Such a cold week it was, and my biggest battle was just maintaining temp. These Melbourne winters really suck! Brief times where temps in my tent were over 21c but on average around 19c and at times dropping as low as 18c. Any lower than 17.5 my exhaust fan shuts off for a couple of minutes to help maintain the temp. The plant is doing well all the same. Have the cold temps stunted her growth??? Well this I can't be sure of. On a good note, another week down and still no fertiliser. She's showing no sign of any deficiency and super healthy. Very little LST this week, im pretty much happy with the canopy as it is. I'm still another 4 weeks off from harvest, and I'm now hoping all the buds really chunk on up. Long and thin, short and fat or big tall and chunky I don't care. Buds size is irelevant when it gets enhaled ...i just want plenty of it!

No dramas at all this week. Stable temps...a couple of waters and that's it. Really got some night out of it and buds appear to be chunking up. With 2.5 to 3 weeks to go in hoping for a little more chunkyness and the resins to start flowing. Yield I think will be way down on what I hoped for...If i get 40g it will all be worth it and will give me a mark to best next time I grow.

Have you ever seen man made man made precipitation in a grow tent? Exactly this I had this week! Farrrking cold. Day time temp outside.my tent around 10c and night time around 4c with a shit load of rain. Dumped down and even the sheds floor housing in my tent got wet making it even more wet in the immediate tent area. Damp night air, cold & high humidity means condensation in a warm humid tent already due to the tube heater working full time. A touch of the hand on the sides of the tent caused drips run. On the top top....we'll keep away from the electrics as the trickles dropped. BUZZZZ, Keep away from those grow lights!!!! Towel drying the inside if the tent 3 times a day was the solution, fucked if I'm going to buy a dehumidifier for the last week of the grow! Besides a basic humidifier I doubt would cope. And the towel drying has really helped lower the overall humidity in the tent. I really think an upgraded extraction fan might be required for my next grow. Or maybe just takr the chsnce copping unexpected heat of spring or autumm. On top of all this I had a power outage and the timer flipped out, causing 15 hours of darkness instrad of 6 for one day. With all that said...what a beauty of a plant. It seriously smells so delicious...so strong. Buds are really getting sticky and sooo juicy. Yummm, thank god for the carbon filter. My biggest concern for the last week was harvest and curing in the cold temp. But my saviour, the weathers long been forecasting a little warmer and dryer temos for harvest. Thank God.for that, I may just have success with this grow, a 100% organic and absolutely nothing but rainwater for the grow! One more week to go then harvest. Bring it on!

It's winter here and been a real cold one and I'm growing in a outdoor tin shed. Will dry in the same. There are 3 warmer days expected this week around 18c (65f)., Should I harvest early by up to 5 days or chance drying in at temps under 10c?. Will I get moldy buds?

Harvest and take extra precautions during the dry to ensure you dont get any mold. Dont stack your colas so they lay on top of each other, remove some fan leaves when you hang it to reduce humidity, and have some air exchange. I suggest checking on the plant as it hangs a couple times each day and rotate the branches to stop and wet spots. Good luck and happy growing!🍀👍

I so wanted to harvest today due to weather being slightly warmer, but the plant just isn't ready yet. I would say another 5 day at least which means I'll be harvesting when it's cold. Oh well, prepared to take the chance to make sure she's just right. Buds are super frosty anyhow...Looks sooo good in the natural light I put her in for the photo shoot Can't wait to smoke this baby soon
