Have you ever seen man made man made precipitation in a grow tent? Exactly this I had this week!
Farrrking cold. Day time temp outside.my tent around 10c and night time around 4c with a shit load of rain. Dumped down and even the sheds floor housing in my tent got wet making it even more wet in the immediate tent area. Damp night air, cold & high humidity means condensation in a warm humid tent already due to the tube heater working full time. A touch of the hand on the sides of the tent caused drips run. On the top top....we'll keep away from the electrics as the trickles dropped. BUZZZZ, Keep away from those grow lights!!!!
Towel drying the inside if the tent 3 times a day was the solution, fucked if I'm going to buy a dehumidifier for the last week of the grow! Besides a basic humidifier I doubt would cope. And the towel drying has really helped lower the overall humidity in the tent. I really think an upgraded extraction fan might be required for my next grow. Or maybe just takr the chsnce copping unexpected heat of spring or autumm.
On top of all this I had a power outage and the timer flipped out, causing 15 hours of darkness instrad of 6 for one day.
With all that said...what a beauty of a plant. It seriously smells so delicious...so strong. Buds are really getting sticky and sooo juicy. Yummm, thank god for the carbon filter.
My biggest concern for the last week was harvest and curing in the cold temp. But my saviour, the weathers long been forecasting a little warmer and dryer temos for harvest. Thank God.for that, I may just have success with this grow, a 100% organic and absolutely nothing but rainwater for the grow!
One more week to go then harvest. Bring it on!
It's winter here and been a real cold one and I'm growing in a outdoor tin shed. Will dry in the same. There are 3 warmer days expected this week around 18c (65f)., Should I harvest early by up to 5 days or chance drying in at temps under 10c?. Will I get moldy buds?
Harvest and take extra precautions during the dry to ensure you dont get any mold. Dont stack your colas so they lay on top of each other, remove some fan leaves when you hang it to reduce humidity, and have some air exchange. I suggest checking on the plant as it hangs a couple times each day and rotate the branches to stop and wet spots. Good luck and happy growing!🍀👍
Your LST is a work of art! If you won't have any nute issues until end of harvest that type of soil is the shit and I want it too. I wonder where I could get it around here (EU)
@Vanalle, not sure if you can get the same soil in EU but sure you can find something similar. Not only does it require no fertiliser, but also no PH balancing as the soil itself balances everything out. Here's some links below anyhow if your interested in checking it out.

@Vanalle, hahahaha...well that was the case until week 4. My damn wife used my computer and saw my internet history and stumbled apon my grow diary. OMG..the plant nearly got a dose of weed killer but with some sweet talking it will live to see harvest. Let's just hope I live to see harvest as well 😂
By all means, harvest. You can lose all the harvest if not to mold, then to cold. I would not be surprised if you already have rot in some buds already.
OMG...I have just realised after spending so much time taking pics and updating, my diary pics for most weeks are missing. Newbie error I think when adding new weeks...Never mind. Plant is nearly there....I keep saying just a few more days to go...And a few days later I say the same thing again.
Bring it on...I sooo need this bud
