psydmz At the end of the sixth week it had reached 39 cm. I used an automatic irrigator, 600 ml per day for four days while I was away. The plant was healthy when I returned, although the root ball was particularly dry. It did not show any particular signs of stress. It is an extremely hardy plant that requires very little attention and is very easy to care for. Apart from a few minor issues during the vegetative stage caused by overly hard water (a problem solved by adjusting the water’s pH), it has given no other problems. Today I pruned some leaves. I chose not to use any other technique, aside from defoliation, to see how it develops.

psydmz It has grown a lot in height; the tops have become visibly fuller. I defoliated again, allowing greater air exchange.
Some leaves have turned purple, but I don’t know if that’s normal. The overall state of health is still good despite this discoloration on some leaves.
