Greenhouse_Project HAPPY NEW YEAR 🍀🍀
This week marks the exciting beginning of the grow with Fast Buds genetics. To ensure strong and even germination, the seeds were first soaked for 24 hours in distilled water inside a Cannakan, placed on a heat mat set to 26 °C. This gentle warmth helps activate the embryo and softens the seed shell, encouraging it to crack open. By the end of the soak, most of the seeds showed slight openings in their shells, a clear sign that they were ready for the next stage.
After soaking, the excess water was carefully removed to create a slightly moist—but not flooded—environment. This step encourages the taproot to search downward for moisture, promoting stronger root development right from the start.
Meanwhile, Rockwool cubes were prepped as the germination medium. They were thoroughly rinsed and balanced with pH-adjusted water (5.5) to create the ideal root zone for early growth. No nutrients were added at this point, since young seedlings rely on their internal nutrient reserves during the first few days.
The cubes were then placed inside the germination box, where humidity levels (Huminandy) were kept consistently high, ensuring the seed shells don’t dry out during this delicate stage. The combination of high humidity, gentle warmth, and oxygen-rich conditions supports quick emergence of the taproots.
Overall, the seeds responded perfectly to this method — tiny cracks in the shells and early root activity indicate a promising start. The next step will be monitoring for the first visible sprouts and ensuring the Rockwool remains evenly moist without being soaked. 🌱✨

Greenhouse_Project After nearly a full week of healthy root growth in the Rockwool cube, it was time for the most important transition — the transplant into the final pot. Since this is an autoflowering strain, the timing of this move is critical; autoflowers don’t like multiple transplants, so starting them in their permanent home early ensures smooth growth and no stress during flowering.
For this run, a 5-liter fabric pot was chosen. Fabric pots are ideal for autos because they allow excellent air exchange around the root zone, preventing overwatering and encouraging dense, oxygen-rich root growth.
The medium is Plagron Light Mix, a lightly fertilized soil that offers perfect control for organic amendments. Before transplanting, the soil was mixed and enriched with the BioTabs organic system to provide slow-release nutrition throughout the entire cycle:
50g Silicium Flash – to boost structural strength and increase resistance against heat and pests.
15g Startrex – to activate soil life and improve microbial balance.
1 BioTab – the slow-release nutrient core, ensuring consistent feeding for weeks.
Once everything was prepared, the seedling was carefully placed into the center, making sure the Rockwool stayed just below the soil surface to avoid drying out. The first watering was done with 1g Bactrex, a microbial booster that introduces beneficial bacteria to the root zone, helping the plant adapt quickly to the new medium and improving nutrient uptake.
By the end of this week, the young plant stood proudly at 6.5 cm tall, showing healthy green coloration and firm stems — a sign that the transplant was successful. The root system is expected to spread rapidly now, setting the foundation for a strong flowering phase ahead.

Greenhouse_Project Week 2 – Root Expansion & Early Growth 🌿
This week was all about root zone establishment and maintaining a stable environment for steady early development. The young Fast Buds Juicy Berry Lust is still focusing her energy below the surface, building a strong foundation before explosive vertical growth begins.
Watering was kept very rare, roughly every 5 days, since overwatering at this stage could slow down root oxygen intake. The soil remains slightly moist but never soaked, encouraging the roots to search deeper through the Plagron Light Mix. This controlled drying cycle supports vigorous root expansion and better nutrient absorption later on.
Lighting continues at a comfortable 18 hours on / 6 hours off schedule, with the lamp operating at 50% power to prevent light stress while ensuring solid photosynthesis. The canopy is short and compact — only 8 cm tall — but that’s exactly what’s expected during this phase of strong root development. The short height is not a sign of slow growth; it simply means she’s concentrating her strength where it matters most right now — in the roots.
Nutrient-wise, there are no signs of deficiency or stress. The BioTabs system is performing flawlessly, releasing just the right balance of organic nutrients and beneficial microbes to support early vegetative health. The leaves are a deep, healthy green, showing that the soil ecosystem is active and balanced.
Next week, the focus will be on maintaining this steady rhythm — consistent humidity, gentle watering, and watching for the first signs of faster vertical growth as she transitions from root work to foliage expansion. 🌱✨
