SlempZen Seeds were planted on the evening of the 29-12-25, Tropicana Cookies and Gorilla-Z first poked their heads through the soil on the morning of 2-1-26, later that day, the White Widow also showed up! My Equipment is all second Hand. A Buddy of mine does Homegrow. I helped him move to a new apartement, he got himself new gear and i got most of his old stuff as compensation for helping him move. Basically, just people helping each other out. Community FTW!11 I added some "automation" using basic, relativley cheap Smart Home Gear. 2 smart Power Outlets and a Sensor for Temperature & Humidity using the TP-Link Tapo system. The Ventilation Sytem is overkill for the size of my Box. I set my System to blow out the air when it hits 70% Humidity inside the Tent and stops ventilating by 60% Humidity or below. The light is set to 20/4 h cycle. Temperature is my Room Temp. + whatever the electronics inside the Tent produce (so far usually 21°C-24°C) I'm missing a Carbon Filter and a Fan for circulating the Air inside the Box, will ad them later this month (or at least try a small tabletop Fan i already have for summer Time) This is my first grow in a Box, so far i did 2 Outdoor grows that went decently well

SlempZen One week has gone by, and all 3 Ladies grew well! I did put way too much water in the soil before planting the seeds, so i only watered the younglings a little and just around the plants. I also learned from a Podcast by german content creator Vince & Weed that oscilating a Fan directly on the plants isn't the best decision, so i stopperd doing that with my small table fan. Instead, the Fan blows just on the walls of the Tent when it is running. Climate inside the Tent stays pretty consistent so far between 20-22°C and 65-69% Humidity, so the vntilation system only starts 2-3 Times a Day. Of course, i open the Tent in the Morning and the afternoon to check on the Ladies. So far i'm happy with this grow, but wondering if my light is strong enough for the 3 plants

SlempZen This week was fun! Really nice growth, like i've seen in other Diaries, Videos, Discord, etc. I switched some equipment, started to introduce some mildish nutrients, learned about the Plants, and did some Defoliation-Training to finish the week. Equipment change: I upgraded my grow light. I'm now rocking the Mars-Hydro FC-1500-Evo. I knew that the weirdo Niello-Light i have is a bit underwhelming and that i should something better, especially in a 80x80 cm Tent and 3 plants....So, as someone that started growing again simply does, a lot of GrowVideos, the looking into lights, what LEDs and then stumbling across a good deal, i just got myself a new shiny thing. and YES......It is nice and bright and less noisy ('cause of the passiv vs. active cooling). Plants happy, me happy. Nutrition. Plants want food too. I also inherited a bottle of growsartig "Alfa Boost all in one", some bio-fertilizer. It said, 5-10ml/l in veg. state. I water every other 3 days after feeling the moisture in the soil and weight of the Pots. 1-2.L on all 3 pots. I grow in Biobizz All-Mix, a pre-fertilized soil. I added 10ml of nutrition to yesterdays watering. Plants. Good growth. The GorillaZ is the fasttest growing, the White Widow is behind by almost a full pair of leaves, Papaya Cookies sits inbetween. They all had to bend a little too the center of the tent. that was caused by the potatoe light by niello nad its size of course.Well, we fixed that now. GorillaZ developed some lighter spots on some of her leafes. Nothing to worry about too much, she is the biggest, fastest of the 3 plants. Nutrition might help, i think. Defoliation Training. On my 2nd Outdoor grow, i already have tried topping and LST. After watching a lot of Basementganja 's grows on Youtube, i decided i want to try Defoliation-Training. Basically cropping the leaves on the top node, helping the lower nodes to develop a more even and thicker canopy later. Just go watch Basementganja's Videos, he explains what he does really well and his Videos are very High Quality. What's up Coming week? -look out for signs of overnutrition after starting to add fertilizer - Monitor the spots at GorillaZ - might do some more Defoliation in a couple of days -watch for amount of watering, might change a lot because of growth this week -have fun watching them grow!

SlempZen I did a BooBoo. Rookie mistake, should not have added the nutrients in the soil, i missread the plants. In my experience with 2 Outdoor Balcony Grows, Outdoor felt more forgiving than indoor now. Things i tried with nutrition& training seemed to have less of an impact to the plant and a timely delayed effect. Thesis: Your screw-ups might not end as quick and as bad as in Indoor grows. Vise Versa, if you do well in your grow, the results are bigger, more impactful growing indoor. I was impatient, and watching too many grow videos, seeing whole plants from birth to cured in 30 minutes.....NOT 10-14 WEEKS...... So i calmed down, started sitting infront of the open Tent with my morning coffee (enjoying the Lights for my self a bit, it's dark winter now). Just observing, trying to figure out what's up. I confirmed my thoughts by being lazy and asking AI about my plants. Uploaded a pic of each, described the setup ,and the thing came to basically the same results. Too wet, maybe too cold soil and the nutrition i added. I did only water a tiny little amount. I'm trying to get the soil to dry evenly (therefore the tiny amount of watering) too avoid mold and give the roots more oxygen. I have the Ventilation running more constantly and at a lower Humidity threshhold. I put some wood boards i had laying around under my pots, so their bottoms get some ventilation too and the moisture can't be stuck between the bottom of the fabric pot and the foil on the ground. Those Drainmaster stools i see commercials for everywhere, look more interesting day by day. But i think a would prefer a "grow" table that fits perfectly inside the tent (75x75cm), where i would just put some containers under to collect the overflow. And yes, i should look into testers for water and nutrition, but they are out of budget for the moment. The Defoliation Training and the new Lamp (Mars Hydro FC1500-EVO) did work out very well. Thanks to the lamp, i could split the Pots farther away from each other, helping with air flow. The Light looks and feels more intense, i had to raise the lamp up to 40cm above the plants. As someone that enjoys normal daylight lamps during the season with low sunlight outdoors, i have to say this thing works well ,too. Haven't used my normal daylight lamp since i got the neew grow Lamp... All Plants reacted well to the Defoliation Training. All 3 got more "bushy", lower node's branches kept at least keeping up with the main. Plants are overall in a better state than a week before, developed well and the new foliage didn't show any signs of damages. So all in all, tthis week was a success. Learned a lot, observed a lot, and the plants are in a decent state. And i got myself busy with something else that keeps me busy while beeing patient. I bought myself an electric Bass Guitar! Sorry, grow youtubers, your content is amazing and i thank you for what you do! But i have to cut my content consumption down to keep my cool, at least a little ;)

SlempZen Good week. All 3 Plants started to bulk up really nicely. I started watering more, did LST, did some changes inside the Tent. But i first, i have something to confess. I seeked out for assistance and started using ChatGPT, mainly to confirm and check my own observations. I uploaded pictures of the plants and let AI confirm that i did indeed overfeed the plants in the beginning and made plans for watering and further training with it. In the beginning, i did not plan to do tie down branches of the plants, but after my initial Defoliation Training the plants grew to dense in my opinion. So at the start of the week, i did some LST. I could not find my softt plant wire, so i used some pipe clenears as my tool, giving th plants the candy-cane look. And it worked sooooooo well. Compare the pictures from the beginning of the week with the newest ones. The Ladies bulked up so much and started first signs of early flowering. Some pistils here and new plant shoots. LOTS OF NEW PLANT SHOOTS. If everything goes right, i think i will have a nice harvest. Even ChatGPT was weirdly overzealous in giving me compliments for my LST. I think i got the potential to fill out my tent quiet niecely. Remember how i thought the White Widow was a little behind the others? She is now the biggest of the three and gives the most amount of smell (not a lot yet, of course)and has the thickest stem. The Tropicana Cookies is the most dense and creates new shoots and leaves everywhere, GorillaZ is similar, but more even. I watered twice this week, each plant a liter of Tap water. At work i found a wood pallette top part that basically fit perfect for my 80x80 Tent. That is what you see under the pots in the Photos. Results in better Ventilation, Drain and helps with my floor beeing cold. I removed the first big fan-leafes on all 3 plants. They all showed the most amount of damage from my early nutrition mistakes and were tucked under so much canopy already that they weren't getting light anyways. They also started to feel leathery... Starting next watering, i will begin adding small amounts of nutrients. I have to look out for the density of the plants. I hope they start stretching soon, or i might have to defoliate. A week after LST, the ladies are already soo dense again, a lot of leaves are touching and blocking each other from direct light

SlempZen *Read in common TV-Show Announcer voice* And on this week's Chapter of "First Tent": - Big Stretch in the early flowering stage - not 1, but 2 Trips to the local grow Shop - PANIC twice (not really, just for the Drama Effect), something weird appears on the plants! - MORE LST - Old school genetics MORE STRONG then newer Genetics *pls continue reading in normal voice mode* This week was interesting. It started with my table Fan dying, luckily i caught it just in time! I was having a nice session on my Bass Guitar using Headphones. After the Session, i thought to myself "hm...it is eery quiet in here...Oh poop! i can't her the Vent going inside the Tent!". The Vent wasn't moving anymore, but the motor was still running and stalling, creating that scary electric burn smell. I pulled the thing outside straight to the bin. So i had to get a new Fan, and also wanted to get nutrition for Bloom, so off to the local Grow Shop next day! I got a Clip Fan and Bio Bizz Bio Bloom. 2 Days later, i noticed some spots on the mid-level fan-leaves....the rusty looking kind....and the usual discoloring seen when you miss CalMag..... I didn't panic, but was annoyed to having to go to the store AGAIN. Welp, did what i had to do and also got the Bio Bizz Booster Top MAX after some research and talking to the guys in the store, because why not and before my mind tells me to get the Stuff anyways a week or 2 later. The Shop experience was really cool, i enjoyed looking at all the products in real life instead of just in videos and on online-shops. Can recommend doing this My Tapo Sensors are not working well anymore since i got the MarsHydro FC1500Evo. The Sensor is too weak to overcome the faraday-cage-situation in the tent and the electrical interference by the dimmed lamp. So i skipped the automation for ventilation and put it on a simple Timer. I adjusted the LST a couple of times over the week. ChatGPT stills tells me i'm doing a fabolous job with it (weirdo...). I still use AI to confirm my own assumptions on what the plants try to tell me. I had to adjust the height of the lights a couple times (PLANT GROW STRONG) and dailed up the power from 70% to 75%. I am watering every 3-4 days, 1.5l per plant (almost no run off) with 2ml/L Bloom, 1ml/L Top Max and 0.5ml/L CalMag (only the 2 pplants that need it). The newest pictures i took are directly after watering, therefore the hanging leafes. White Widow (fornt left on group pics) - Oh boy, she stretches! She outgrows the 2 newer genetics beside her, her form is pretty straight. The last 2 days she stretched ~5cm per day now hitting the 50cm mark. She showed the highest deficiency in CalMag GorillaZ (front right) - She is growing very dense, i have to be careful with leafes touching and condensation. She doesn't show signs of CalMag def., but she usually looks thirsty the most. Has the strongest side branches in relativity to her size. Tropicana Cookies (back middle) - Definitly the Diva of the bunch. lacks Calmag (but only shows the discoloring, not the "rusty" spots). Grows more uneven and a little twisty, and like the GorillaZ, she is quiet dense All 3 Ladies are happy nontheless, they took LST well and the deficiencies showing are slim, nothing to worry about, i caught it in time. I count this week still as VEG week, cause this dairy is about all 3 plants and only the White Widow i would count as early flowering stage. What i am looking for coming week: - Tropicana & Gorilla starting to stretch more - How the plants react to the nutrition and for having to adjust - Might have to defoliate Tropicana & Gorilla if the stretch isn't coming and the density of the canopy is getting thicker - Monitor Humidity and adjust the Timers for ventilation - Chill and play Bass Guitar As People say on the Social Medias, like and follow if you enjoy my Diary and don't want to miss next weeks' Update
