Ituri Noire - Love of Landrace

LandraceLarry The newest addition to Love of Landrace's portfolio which has not been added to their website yet . Ryan announced these seeds to be released in the shop in 2025 but had some seeds he was kind enough to sell already. The strain is from the Ituri rain forest in eastern Congo, a super remote region so nobody can really tell me anything about this strain. It probably has a flowering time of 20 weeks or more which I did not consider when planting the seed. I low key hope this is a male so I can freeze the pollen and use the space for a faster flowering plant. I soaked the seed in H2O2 for about 15 hours before planting directly in coco. Took a bit less than a week to germinate, just like the other African landrace I am growing. No cracking the seed or filing down the shell needed. I will use a custom soil mix as always, 60% light mix, 25% coco, 15% diatomaceous earth, worm casting and activated charcoal, layered so the deeper you go in the soil the more nutrients the plant gets. This one will be transferred into its final 7 Liter pot after about two weeks of vegetation. Currently this is only in light mix, topped with a bit of coco. Vegetation is done without a tent in the corner of my office in order to save space in the flowering area. I will grow this one for like 2-3 weeks and a soon as the plant is like 20cm, I will put it in flower by just removing the plant from my vegetation area after 12hours and putting it into a dark room for 12 hours. This way I can check the gender without risking pollination of my flowering plants.
