NuclearPyro New to hydro! Notice some white crystalline particles at base of 1st true leaves. Think it's residue from nutes. Planted 12/31/25 in rockwool

NuclearPyro All are 3 weeks old. Forgot to add calmag for 10 days bc i read not too, however, 100% needed for hydro... hence why there is rust spots on the biggest fan leaves. No problem with ph, just gotta get feeding schedule correct with the E.C. and TDS for there size. Overfeed once and caused nutrient burn(on small 1)( N toxicity on big 1s). I sprayed water on the leaves 1 hr before night and I think that is what caused the rust spots. Light burn, however after some added calmag and calmag foliar spray then plain RO water under leaves. They came back praying. Stopped feeding big ones, so lil 1 is catching up. I compacted the rockwool bc it was drenched(rookie move). Never ph'd the RWool either. 85⁰F, RH 85%, VPD .5 Survived harshest mistakes i made. But it took 2 weeks of constant nurturing to figure out mistake and to get on the correct course again. I wanna make it to the end and have some 🌲.

NuclearPyro After 1st big defoliation, Plants took 4 days to recover 100%. Started eating 1 day ago. Guzzled H2O tho. 5 day, early am, plants grew all fan leaves back but smaller. Fuzz and crystals are forming. Maybe 3 weeks if I lucky. Need to stretch. Small buds rn. 4 days after post video and trichome pic taken after defoliation during early flower/mid-flower

No, autoflowers will flower when they want too, even photos if given stress and problems, need to make sure what you're running as both require different light hours You're running your light too close dude also dude, use a light metre with some normal paper. If you're having root problems with hydroguard its something within the system itself, hydrogen peroxide it at the recommended amount, same with your nets holding your ladies, dip em into the solution thats straight h202. You're lady will show signs of drooping, thats okay no matter what you do, youll see that from topping to whatever else. If youre not running a chiller you need too or youre gonna run into a lot of problems, look at my 4 to the other 2 with a chiller, I'm doing an experiment atm for myself to see why the upgrades are worth it. Cal mah issues with hydro are common, run a double dose always, it'll save you problems, look at the diaries

@RBG, thanks bro! I appreciate the advice. I thought about chillers but I got a g3000(sf) just now bc the lil mars ts1000 was weak. Its bc I caused stress. I doubled nutes bc I was feeding 400 per day in 2gal. To big for that so switch to 5 gal. This 2.3x2.3 can't hold 3 bushing plants. Check my week 6. It was 1st major defoliation plus too much nutes. Dropped to 550, plants springs back in 4 days. Small plant h2o2 bath and resovoir change again. 2 gal is easy to change quick. Less water. Than 4 days of ph h20. All pants are healthy and eating alot. 500pm nutes & 1/2 gal h20 per day. resovior change 1‐2x with 5 gal, 3x per week in 2 gal. Wear gloves! Thanks again. Ordered chillers. 70 too high. Want 66-67.. I'll check you out

@NuclearPyro, Definitely looking better! cover your rockwool on the smaller one if you have more clayballs, you don't want to see the top nor the water through the pot ( this will create a better environment for your roots as light will cause mould or root rot ). Once your roots hit have hit water you do not need to continue to top feed or hand feed unless you're flushing your ladies. Some systems still require it like the nutriculture bubblebox box as its half, top and half dwc. Seems like your cal mag issue is slowly fading away! Nice. And on your week 4 that you say is nutrients, I say light burn just by how the rest of the damage is. Maybe the tip nutrients and then light. Its something I had similar happen on an auto ages ago. If they are autos, I do suggest you follow fastbuds auto guide, its one of the best and strongest methods for veg, I just up the bloom side of it. If they're photos* and in flower you should be sitting on around 2-2.2e.c with a ph of around 6-6.2 for optimal uptake.

@NuclearPyro, didn't see you had aluminium foil covering now! Word of advice it'll create heat downwards and not refeclt. Tape or plastic works way better and doesnt transfer as much heat downwards. I use pandafilm as it reflects heat

@RBG, originally scared to cut bottom 3inches so I never filled it. I know my mistake now. I've been Journaling everything. Amd reading yield science, mel green and cannabis Bible again. So I have 3 new strain coming this week. White widow, banana blaze and melonade runtz. Will not mix strain unless compatible. Literally threw seeds from dispensary bud, amd pick the best 4. 3 took. But thank you. Thought no one would see my efforts!

@RBG, got cha. I stalling fresh air intake now. Don't want mold.

@NuclearPyro, light upgrade is a nice touch, rule of thumb is about 100w per plant for a decent yield, your ladies will love you for it. Your best bet to control mould would be to grt a vpd controller or the vivosun or ac infinity controller. If you're sitting around 24-27°, 50-60% RH, youll be fine unless you bring something in

@RBG, I have all that. Spent about 3k on 2 tents. Ai+ controllers, commercial air pump, 1/4 lines not installed yet, 4 inch disc, etc. Need to show tents in a pic. I like your set ups. Very nice

@NuclearPyro, yeah I've spent a lot and still not done yet 😂 I'll have my other alien 2 pot on the go soon, with the alien V system later this year coming in with a living soil bed in a few months. Not hugely interested in the nutriculture flogro or bubble box due to the difficulties in changing water or moving them with ease, they're huge so will be switching them out after they're done

@RBG, hey bro, check out week 6 floweing again. Put up a trichome pic. Defoliated again today too. Way to bushy, video is after defoliation and still bushy. Gotta bend the stems out lil to get more light down under the canopy. But going 💪

@NuclearPyro, offt nice as bro, they're going strong. Remember to only defoilation up to week 2 of flower otherwise you will loose some yield. Unfortunately sometimes its needed past so don't worry too much if you need to a week after that 2 week period You've definitely got 2 more sativa dominated sides of the strains your running, and you're small one just might be stunted out due to the early problems you had but sometimes the stunted ladies when they're switching to flower can go crazy and get themselves out of a smaller yield or smaller lady in general
