PapaTerps AlienZ Automatic - Greenhouse Seed Co.
Day 1 - seed dropped into a tray of RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3. I'm using the floating method, so the seed will stay in the glass until a taproot appears.
Day 3 - an acceptable taproot has appeared from the seed, so she has been moved to her starter pot to continue her germination. She will stay in this pot until she has sprouted and strong enough to be moved into her main grow pot.
Day 4 - seedling has appeared from the soil with her shell still attached, so I've manually removed it. Her starter leaves are still curled up, so I'll leave her now for a few days to adjust herself
Day 5 - I noticed part of the membrane was still attached to the seedling, so I manually removed it and her starter leaves popped open ππ»
Day 7 - seedling is big enough to be moved into its main grow pot, so I've transplanted her from her starter pot, to a 5L fabric pot - she will spend the rest of her lifecycle hereππ»
Day 10 - she has developed nicely and is just about ready to start vegging, she is working on developing her second set of leaves, so from next week I will consider her "in veg".

Day 25 - watered with one liter of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients and pH'd to 6.3. I've let this diary slip a bit as I have a lot of things going on at the moment, but she is growing really well and is being taking good care of! Over the last couple weeks, I've been just feeding her and letting her grow, but at the start of this week, I decided to begin top layer defoliation and some LST to help her lower stems stretch out a bit. So far so good π€π»

Day 32 - watered with 1L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients and pH'd to 6.3. I've seen a few signs to indicate that she is about to start her flower cycle, but she's still in veg for now. I've removed her most top two fan leaves to allow the lower nodes to get more light, but other than that, I'm just letting her do her thing πͺπ» from next week she will be in flower, so I will have to start increasing some of her nutrients and water volume to about 2 liters!
Day 35 - watered with 1L with nutrients l, pH'd to 6.3. She looks like she's about to start her first phase of bloom, so I've just quickly topped her and removed a few nodes to encourage an even canopy when she starts to stretch. I've also removed a couple of inward facing fan leaves to help with airflow - so she should stretch nicely ππ»

Day 39 - watered with 1L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients and pH'd to 6.3. She is showing all the signs that she has now entered flower π She has just about started her stretching weeks, and so far she has reacted well to her topping last week, and has started to focus all her energy on stretching the lower nodes out and up ππ» hopefully this will encourage her to grow an nice even canopy π€π»

Day 46 - watered with 1.5L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients and pH'd to 6.3. She has just about finished her stretch, leaving a perfectly even canopy and is now focusing on developing her bud sites. I removed a lot of foliage around her stems to improve air flow and lollipopped her, removing all budsites under the canopy ππ»

Day 53 - watered with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients and pH'd to 6.3. I wasn't sure how she was going to perform in such a small pot after the topping, but she has done so well!! She has six clear budsites that are well spaced out and even at canopy level πͺπ» she is also starting to develop her bud sites so her aroma has started to fill the tent ππ» so far I'm really impressed with this one! She is showing signs of over watering, even though I have let her dry back to almost 5% moisture content of the soil, so I'm going to let her dry back to 2% and then only water her with 1L for her next watering in about 4 days time π€π»

Day 68 - watered with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She is bulking her flower now and is showing signs of late maturity, which is interesting because wouldn't have expected to see this for another week or two, so I'm assuming she'll be ready for harvest closed to 9 weeks rather than 10.
Her aroma has started to fill the tent, a combination of citrus and earth, very pleasent! Just a small amount of work on her this week - I removed a couple of fan leaves on her lower stem, to improve airflow, as her six colas are growing closer to one another!
Shes a beaut! π

Day 75 - watered with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She's not bulking as much as I had hoped, so I've increased the Bio Heaven and Acti-Vera to boost her metabolism a bit ππ» She's quite bushy, so I've removed a few fan leaves with a goal to improve light penetration and airflow ππ» She's getting close to harvest now, so probably from next week I will start to reduce the nutrients in her feed, but for now I'm just going to let her grow πͺπ»

Day 82 - watered with 2L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She's now in week 7 of bloom, so this will be her final week with full nutrients ππ» She has bulked up well this week, and her flower has started to mature as well as her aroma, which is fruity and citrusy ππ» I've removed a couple of her fan leaves to improve light penetration, but nothing major - that'll all be saved for her final week ππ»

Day 89 - watered with 3L of RO tap water, mixed with the defined nutrients in order and then pH'd to 6.3.πΏ She's in week 8 of flower now and I think this will be her last diary entry before harvest! I gave her a good defoliation today to remove most of her remaining fan/larger leaves as she doesn't need them anymore, I've also completely removed all nutrients from her feed, anything defined is from her very last feed - she is now just on plain RO water ππ» she will be watered maybe twice more this week, before I leave her to completely dry back, at which point she will be harvestedπΈβοΈ. She was really enjoyable to grow and smells lovely and floral, with hints of candy and earth, lots of vibrant colours too!
Great strain, really easy to grow and performed quite well in such a small pot! Her flower is a nice size, with larger golf balls at the top and smaller nugs (about a third of the size) dotted down the stem, really easy to harvest and trim! Her buds are covered in resin, so keep your trim tool cleaning products close by and wear some gloves!!
* 10/10 for growth so far
* Smoke report to follow

Day 95
πΏ She was watered with 3L of just plain RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3, twice this week and has been left to dry back for the last five days ππ»
βοΈ To prepare her for harvest, she had the majority of her fan leaves and larger sugar leaves removed at the start of the week, this also allowed for more light to reach areas of the bud that had been shaded. For harvest, I performed a wet trim, to ensure she had as little foliage as possible on her, removing as many leaves and stems from her as possible, to prevent any moisture buildup during her dry ππ»
πΈ Her bud is fully mature now, most of her pistils have turned amber with just new growth exhibiting white pistils. All of her trichomes have either turned milky or amber, with about 15% being amber ππ». Her smell has also changed a bit and is now heavy on the citrus/grapefruit with undertones of floral/earthiness - very pleasant πΈ
β She will now be dried in a dark cool room (at ~20 degrees celsius with ~60% humidity) for about 8 days before she is move into glass jar for her cure, which will last for at least a month before she is used π€π»
