connormcleod47 ***UPDATE 01/17/26***
Started the germination process, all 4 should hopefully pop in the next 2 to 3 days, paper towel & a couple of plastic bowls with some bottled water!
Put a stem to the side of the plate so I don't lose track of which order they are in !
Strains are:
UBC Chemo Fast Flower - (UBC Chemo Clone x BBB Kush Auto)
Rockstar Kush Fast Flower - (Rockstar Kush Clone x BBB Kush Auto)
Faster Master Fast Flower - (Master Kush x Tuna Kush Auto)
SR-71 Purple Kush Fast Flower - (SR-71 Purple Kush 2011 x Bubba Kush Auto)
Have a fresh bag of unused LSO to start these with & more on the way, want to ensure I don't stunt my plants this time around! Will be starting them in 1 gal pots & transplanting into 5 gal pots somewhere in between Day 18 - Day 21
Shall continue running Cronks PUUR Organic line alongside their Monkey Juice & Armadillo Armor which are also organic, I also have some Great White Myco, Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t, Blackstrap Molasses & a 5 seed cover crop that consists of Buckwheat, Alfalfa, Clover, Lentil & Fenugreek !
1st time running fast flowering strains, very impressed with everything Butterbean Birdseed thus far & I assume these will be no different! The UBC Chemo x Tuna Kush I finished near the end of September 2025 was absolutely PHENOMINAL! Will be cool to see how the UBC Chemo will differentiate from the cross while its on its own!
***UPDATE 01/21/26***
All 4 seeds have successfully germinated!
Cleaned all equipment & printed/laminated 2 sets of labels for each pot
Ran into a couple of issues today... The UBC Chemo & Faster Master were ready to go into pots this afternoon but my living soil was very dry, I sunk them a knuckle & a half into the dirt & PH'd some water to 6.0 so I could water them in, the water would just sit on top eventually finding crevices within the pots before leaking out the drainage holes on the bottom without saturating the medium! I ran 1L of water between the two of them & the soil did not absorb anything! Realized I had to remove the seeds & pre saturate the medium before I could plant them, I found the UBC Chemo but could not find the Faster Master within it's pot & ended up losing it in the process...
Dumped all four 1 Gal pots of soil into a 5 Gal bucket & added 3L of water at a PH of 5.9 in order to pre saturate the medium, this worked very well & I will repeat this process anytime I am working with a bag that has sat & dried out!
The UBC Chemo remained fully in tact & was successfully planted into it's 1 Gal pot, it is now in the tent, the Rockstar Kush & SR-71 Purple Kush have germinated successfully but their tap roots still need another day or so to grow before I will plant them, went ahead & threw another Faster Master into the seed dome to germinate as well & re-saturated the paper towel with some bottled water that had been PH'd to 6.0, noticed I have much faster germination rates when the water has been properly PH'd, I will continue on with this practice during all future grows!
Humidifier decided to short & caught fire today as well! Replaced it with the Levoit I usually have in my 4x4 for now :P
***UPDATE 01/22/26***
The replacement Faster Master successfully germinated in less than 24 hours & is now on track with the other two seeds, still waiting on tap roots to grow a bit before planting them, this is a prime example as to why we should PH water during the germination process, 18hr germination with water PH'd to 6.0 vs 5 days with seeds germinated with bottled water at a PH of 7.9
Will start week 1 veg once all 4 plants are above soil!
***UPDATE 01/24/26***
All 4 seeds are now in 1 Gal pots & the UBC Chemo is already above soil, hoping the SR-71 Purple Kush surfaces ok, not much progress on it's tap root over the past couple of days, decided to drop it in the dirt anyways a tad bit earlier than I normally do
Raised light to where each plant will be receiving roughly 260 uMOL of light when they surface
Temps have been pretty good & RH should rise shortly
***UPDATE 01/25/26***
Gave each plant roughly 250ml of water mixed with 1ml/L monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.0, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Still waiting on 3 plants to surface prior to starting week 1 veg
***UPDATE 01/25/26***
Fired up a clip fan & have that running on 7/10 power slightly above the starting canopy, this will help strengthen the seedlings during those early stages of growth, still waiting on the other 3 plants to surface at which point I will reposition the fan to have it directly on them, cut a horizontal slit in a plastic straw & wrapped that around the stalk of the UBC Chemo for some support, will do the same with the other 3 once they are above soil

Figured I would start Day 1 veg today now that 3/4 plants are above soil, I ended up losing the SR-71 Purple Kush & went back to ceramic plates instead of plastic bowls for germination so I can utilize the higher temps in the tent w/o running into issues, tap roots generally seem to take much longer to grow in those colder temps, PH'd some bottled water to 6.1 for the germination process of another SR-71, hoping to have that in a 1 gal pot & above soil by the end of the week!
Gave each plant roughly 300ml of bottled water at a PH of 6.2
Have straws around the stalks of the UBC Chemo & Rockstar Kush for support, the Faster Master still needs to stretch a bit before I can support that as well, currently have a clip fan on them to strengthen them up during the earlier stages of growth
I may run into some issues with soil this run, had a brand new bag of unopened LSO that sat & cooked in its bag for 6 months or so, I used this to fill my 1 gal pots, the wetting agent dried out completely & I could not saturate the medium at first as it was non absorbent, ended up dumping the soil into a 5 gal bucket & mixed some PH'd water in by hand to fully saturate the medium, noticed a lot of white fuzzy material at the tops of the pots, does smell earthy over musty so there is a chance this could be mycelium over mildew or another type of harmful mold, will continue to monitor the soil as time goes on, plants do seem happy for now which is good!
Temps/RH are pretty good right now, both numbers should still rise as the day continues
Will be updating this diary every other day during veg due to the limited amount of photos I'm able to post during that time, will be daily uploads during flower once that time comes, wish me luck !
***UPDATE 02/05/26***
Plants only needed a splash of water today, ended up giving each of them 133ml of bottled water mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1 ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.5, really just wanted to get some more microbes in there for now
Moved the SR-71 Purple Kush I have germinating out of the tent because the paper towel was drying out too quickly, resaturated the paper towel with bottled water at a PH of 6.1, seed has not cracked open yet
Temps should drop a bit throughout the day as RH continues to rise
***UPDATE 02/07/26***
Gave each plant roughly 333ml of water mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1 ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.0, water was a 50/50 mix of Aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
The 2nd SR-71 Purple Kush has germinated successfully! Gonna give the tap root a few more days to grow before I sink it into the dirt, resaturated paper towel with the same water mixture listed above
Cold day today! Doing what I can to try & bring the temps up before the light shuts off, 2/3 plants seem to be doing well but the UBC Chemo is drooping a little bit, moved it more towards the center of the tent so the clip fan can dry it out a little quicker before the next watering, could have used a smidge less water, temps between today & yesterday aren't helpful either but she should still spring back up by tomorrow!
Decided I will mainline again this go due to limited space, should be able to get away with 16 tops per plant, I usually count the finger leaves as node 1 to keep them lower to the ground but will be going from the 1st true set of leaves this time around, may top on the 5th node instead of the 3rd as well since the SR-71 Purple Kush is a week or so behind, will see how things are looking towards the start of week 2 veg!
***UPDATE 02/09/26***
Nothing really needed to be done today plant wise, pots are still saturated & they probably wont need any more water until later on tomorrow night or the following morning/afternoon
Resaturated the paper towel for the SR-71 Purple Kush with bottled water at a PH of 5.9,, tap root still needs some time to grow before planting
There was some algae starting to form in the humidifier so I ended up cleaning that back to new yesterday, temps have been good & RH should rise throughout the day

connormcleod47 ***UPDATE 02/10/26***
The UBC Chemo is looking great coming into week 2! Think I might skip mainlining & just let them grow straight up without topping, will boost the ones that need closer to the light to even out the canopy when that time comes, since these are fast flowering strains, there is a 15% chance any one of them could start flowering on their own while 18/6 & I'm taking this into consideration as well, I don't want to take the chance & have my yield cut short, will have a better idea on what they are gonna do around day 21!
The SR-71 Purple Kush is quite a ways behind the current 3, still waiting on the tap root to grow a bit before I plant it into the 1 gal pot, I think these could be older seeds & that could be why they aren't moving as fast during those very early stages of germination, was one of the packs I got a few extras on, did not change anything method wise & I usually have my seeds at least in pots by Day 3 or 4, if I end up losing this second SR-71 Purple Kush will just give the current 3 a little more time to veg so I can fill the space optimally!
Temps have been good today but have been having a hard time trying to get my RH up to 60%, will keep tinkering with the setup throughout the week
***UPDATE 02/11/26***
Gave each plant roughly 333ml of bottled water mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.1
Temps/RH were pretty good throughout the day today
***UPDATE 02/12/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering, everything is looking very healthy & I am no longer worried about the soil!
Resaturated the paper towel that the SR-71 Purple Kush is germinating in with bottled water at a PH of 6.1, very slow start but it is continuing to make progress & should live to at least see the 1 gal pot!
I found the 1st Master Kush seed I lost at the start of this grow today x'D! Had some water left over after resaturating the SR-71 Purple Kush & decided to dump the rest in the prayer plant i repotted for my mom, I used the leftover LSO from when I did the 1 gals up for this current grow, spotted the seedling at the base of the prayer plant!! Ended up moving the prayer plant to the 2x4 to keep the seedling on a 18/6 light schedule & i'm gonna try & move it into a 1 gal pot once the soil has dried out a bit, feel like this one was meant to grow, it surfaced within a small strip of light that was hitting the surface of the soil, i dug through the original pot it was planted in for a good hour prior to giving up & starting a second one ! (LSO had sat for 6 months & the wetting agent dried out making the soil non absorbent, I had to dig up the seeds, place them back in the paper towel & dump the 4 gal of soil into a 5 gal bucket + resaturate by hand before planting again, the Master Kush was originally lost during this process)!
Some more good news as well! After a ton of confusion it turns out we are able to keep this home so I should be able to up my plant count significantly once my ACMPR license comes in! Everything is good to go am just waiting on the required documents to go about things properly, Health Canada received my prescription/application July 14th 2025 & it has been in processing for close to 7 months, seen a lot of people finally getting theirs around the 8 month / 9 month mark so hopefully soon!
Temps/RH were pretty good today considering how dry it's been in the house this winter!
***UPDATE 02/14/26***
Gave each plant roughly 333ml of bottled water at a PH of 6.1
Ended up losing the Master Kush I found in the prayer plant, it shriveled up & died overnight unfortunately, dug it up & replaced it with the SR-71 Purple Kush since that was ready to be planted today, the 1 gal pot for the Master Kush was pre saturated the day before yesterday so this kind of worked out perfectly! Not going to bother putting a label on the pot until I transplant into a 5 gal at a later date
Defoliated & topped the UBC Chemo today, it did not respond well thus far but should spring back up over the next day or two hopefully, I try my best not to top or defoliate on a watering day for this reason!
Temps/RH have been good throughout the day today, things should be looking much better on the next update
* going to go through this diary & update each picture of the UBC Chemo to display its proper date, almost time to transplant this one but will give it a couple days to recoup after it has sprung back up
***UPDATE 02/16/26***
Gave the UBC Chemo roughly 333ml of bottled water mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2, it is drinking water much faster than the other two plants at this current stage, will be transplanting soon as well! I also resaturated the SR-71 Purple Kush with the same mixture listed above, the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master were still fully saturated & probably wont need water until late in the afternoon tomorrow or the following morning
Things are back on track & everything is looking great! I will probably start to slowly introduce bottled nutes on the next watering, will be using Cronks PUUR Organics line as well as their Armadillo Armour alongside the microbes I have been using on/off since Day 1, everything is 100% organic & I find it makes for a MUCH better product vs the synthetics I was running prior :P
Temps & RH were pretty good throughout the day today although RH was low for most of the day

connormcleod47 ***UPDATE 02/17/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering I should be ok to leave the other two until tomorrow morning, will be transplanting the UBC Chemo into a 5 gal as soon as the pot is dry, still waiting on the SR-71 Purple Kush to surface but should be soon!
Temps/RH have been pretty good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 02/19/26***
Transplanted the UBC Chemo into a 5 Gal pot with some Great White Myco & gave it 2L of bottled water mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.2, did not use Cronks Armadillo Armor during week 1 & 2 veg, wanted to see if I could spot any differences without it, the Monosilicic Acid really does make a significant difference in terms of root growth & it is something I will continue to run from Day 1 in all future grows! The root system is nowhere near as robust without it, everything is looking great so far nonetheless !
The Rockstar Kush & Faster Master are going to need water tomorrow, will also introduce that 1st feed using the nutrients listed above!
Still no sign of the SR-71 Purple Kush... Hopeful in the sense that it will still pop up eventually, still believe these must have been older seeds & this is why it is taking so long but I could be wrong...
Readjusted the light to where the tallest plant is now receiving roughly 320uMOL of light
Temps/RH have been very close to spot on throughout the day today which is good!
***UPDATE 02/20/26***
Gave the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master roughly 500ml of water each mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.1, decided to hold off on their 1st true feed today because the SR-71 Purple Kush that hasn't surfaced yet needed some water too & I didn't want to mess around with like PH-ing 200ml of water separately for it !
The UBC Chemo responded extremely well to it's 1st true feed yesterday as well !
Temps/RH were very close to exact throughout the entire day today
***UPDATE 02/21/26***
The Rockstar Kush responded well to yesterdays watering however the Faster Master most certainly did not! 500ml at this current stage does work well with the Rockstar Kush but the Faster Master spent most of the day yesterday completely drooped, I checked on the plants 3 hours after lights on this morning around the time my humidifier needed a refill & the Faster Master was still drooped so I decided to keep RH low for the remainder of the day in hopes the pot drys out a little quicker, I also moved it to where the top of the pot is receiving direct airflow from the clip fan, I am going to leave the humidifier empty until tomorrow around noon, pictures today were taken roughly 3 hours before lights off & the Faster Master has sprung back up & is looking great which is good but this was a considerable amount of time it had spent drooped in my opinion, will cater towards this ones specific needs with lighter waterings moving forward!
Made a decision in regards to mainlining the UBC Chemo or not today, this one does not take well to defoliation or topping so I think it's probably best for me to leave it alone & just let it grow straight up which is what I'm going to do, the goal here with this one is to create as little stress as possible in hopes of a better turn out, leaf tucking & tie outs are the furthest I want to go as it really does seem to be quite touchy vs a majority of other plants I've run in the past couple of years, maybe even thee most sensitive when it comes to LST/HST, aside from this a very nice & close to even canopy after a singular topping, excellent uniformity & strong lateral branching, it responded well to that 1st true feed 2 days back & a sudden jump in water going from 333ml right up to 2L after transplant did not seem to bother it at all! This is the plant I am most excited for this run & want it to be the absolute best it can be :P
Still waiting on the SR-71 Purple Kush to surface, it is exactly 4 weeks behind the UBC Chemo today, not looking hopeful but I shall continue to water anyways, if it does eventually surface I think what I will do is set up my 2x2 again & grow it solo over there away from the other 3 when the time comes
Temps were good today & RH was intentionally kept low
***UPDATE 02/22/26***
Gave the UBC Chemo 2L of bottled water mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2, also gave the other 3 plants a splash of the same mixture just to keep the tops of the pots from drying out, want to try & get them all on the same watering schedule shortly!
Decided to lay down some cover crop & hay for the UBC Chemo prior to watering, I will do the same for the other 3 once they are in 5 gal pots!
***UPDATE 02/23/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering!
Went through & topped the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master, 5th node for these ones, they seem to have responded well! Also took a couple of fan leaves off the Rockstar Kush so light can get to lower parts of the canopy, pretty good lateral branching on the Rockstar but I can't say the same for the Faster Master, weak lateral branching with little to no stretch, decided to leave the majority of fan leaves in tact for now as it also kind of struggles with higher amounts of water at this current stage of growth
Temps have been low throughout the day today at 21c, I kept RH low as to not dip below 20 & this will also help the pots can dry out a little quicker

Gave the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master roughly 500ml of bottled water each at a PH of 6.2, some light defoliation towards the bottom of the plants as well shortly after watering
Purposely kept temps on the higher side today while at low RH, I also fired up a second clip fan on the right side of the tent for some more airflow, the last 2L watering on the UBC Chemo was definitely a bit too much after lining the top of the pot with hay for water retention, want to try & dry the pot out a bit quicker before I run into problems, will drop down to 1L/1.5L next watering, 2L should be more than fine once the cover crop starts coming in but for now I just want to play it safe & try to figure out what works best in the meantime !
Decided to dig for the SR-71 Purple Kush this afternoon because of how long it's been taking to surface & I couldn't find it, assume it died & shriveled up underground over the past week, still leaning towards those being older seeds vs technique, the two I tried took forever to germinate but they did still germinate, very slow growth on the tap roots once germinated alongside everything else in the same plates, I will start them in 1" rockwool cubes with a lighted seed dome the next time I go to grow one so I can keep a better eye on things, not gonna bother trying a 3rd this run while the others are this far ahead, plan is to just veg a little longer & fill the space with my current 3, will be transplanting the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master into 5 gals after the next watering, all in all not a terrible start to week 4, some slight clawing here & there on the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master, I jut need to make a few minor adjustments/tweaks in order to dial everything in at this current stage of growth !
***UPDATE 02/25/26***
Gave the Rockstar Kush 500ml of bottled water at a PH of 6.3 & the Faster Master got a splash of un PH'd bottled water to tie it over until morning, the soil I pre saturated for these 1 gal pots has dried out again & isn't holding onto water all too well at this current stage, I think this could be somewhat beneficial for when I go to transplant into 5 gal pots, speculating that the roots will have an easier time reaching outwards as they search for water but I do not know for sure, will focus a little more water towards the center of the plants when the time comes since it will mainly disperse downwards & outwards into the fresher soil anyways, has crossed my mind to try the self watering trays again this go but not 100% sure I trust them just yet due to the heavier swings in PH the last time I went to use them, will make a decision before the week is out after they have been transplanted, that could be the fix for now & will reamend what has dried out with Yucca in the future so I do not run into this problem again!
***UPDATE 02/26/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering & to my surprise that would be the Faster Master as well! Guessing it only got 150ml of un PH'd bottled water last night & I had plans on giving the proper amount the following morning but it did not need anything extra & will be good right up until tomorrow morning, PH of the bottled water it received would have been in between 7.8 - 8.0!
Water wise the UBC Chemo seems to be thriving & it has sat in the same mixture of water for 5 days w/o issue, the Rockstar Kush is definitely the one that is drinking the fastest & the Faster Master tends to prefer less than the average plant, I think I will give the self watering trays another go once transplanted, can only see myself running into problems PH wise at this point & these ones seem to handle whatever PH well, going to transplant the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master into 5 gals tomorrow afternoon & top the UBC Chemo in order to even out the canopy a little bit & from there get them up onto the trays after a watering & that 1st feed !
Temps were on the higher side today & RH was low, all 3 plants seem to like the higher temps up around 26c - 28c vs the 23c - 24c I normally try & keep them at!
***UPDATE 02/28/26***
Transplanted the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master into 5 Gal pots & layed down some cover crop/hay for them as well! The Faster Masters main stem kind of looks like a capital J which threw the plant off center when I plugged in the cake, didn't bother to readjust it in any way as the roots are centered, noticed some browning towards the bottoms of the root masses which is a tad bit concerning, I do not think this would be stains of any kind, the starting phases of root rot more than likely, the plants themselves still look quite healthy & the Great White Myco should help with the roots a bit, not too impressed with the masses themselves & will run Monosilicic Acid from Day 1 in future grows for a more robust root system, will also be switching over to a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water after todays watering, have not been aerating my bottled water & a lack of oxygen while mixtures of water sat stagnant is what I assume caused the browning!
Topped the UBC Chemo but will have to come back & get a few branches that weren't quite ready yet, it seems to have responded well to topping this time around, I also went through & removed some fan leaves from the tops of the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master so lateral branching can continue upwards as well as some lower growth that will never reach the top of the canopy, removing lower growth just makes it a tad bit easier to water them & the plants should be able to direct more energy towards whats worth keeping
Gave each plant 1L of bottled water mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.3, will apply the 1st feed once the pots have dried out!
Temps were good throughout the day today but RH has remained low

Gave each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.1, first feed for the Rockstar Kush & Faster Master!
Missed updating towards the end of last week & also wasn't able to update throughout most of this week but am back now :P Plants got random small amounts of plain bottled water from A to B, a few rust spots + burnt tips here & there but nothing to really worry about, the bottled water we buy usually sits up around 8.3 with a ppm of 340 which isn't exactly ideal but am back on track from todays feed forward!
The UBC Chemo has started to preflower but the other two aren't quite ready imo, want to try & fill the space if I can prior to switching over to 12/12, may still introduce self watering trays at a point!
Crazy natural structure on the Rockstar Kush! No training whatsoever, really liking this one!
Temps were a bit high today & RH remained low
***UPDATE 03/08/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays feed!
Decided to upload pics today as well since tomorrow is the last update on this week & i missed the start of the week, some fairly explosive growth in less than 24hrs after that 1st feed!
Temps were a bit high towards the end of the day & RH is still low

Nothing really needed to be done today, plants are going to need water before the light shuts off, will just be 1L of aerated RO/dechlorinated tap water each mixed with 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t
Temps have been pretty good throughout the day today & RH has started to naturally rise in the house now that the snow has melted outside!
***UPDATE 03/11/26***
Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with 0.1ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2, water was a 50/50 mix aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Went through with a heavy defoliation on the UBC Chemo, just left the new tops & a set of fan leaves underneath them for the most part, structure wise I felt like I should leave the Rockstar Kush alone for now & I removed 2 large fan leaves towards the bottom of the Faster Master so I don't have to lift them anymore while watering xD
Think I will indeed try the self watering trays again, will implement those into the grow towards the end of this week, seen how weak the root systems were on these plants while transplanting & want to give them a little bit of time before kicking things into overdrive water wise, the Great White Myco I transplanted with should be helping with repair & the Monosilicic Acid I've used the last couple of waterings really does help create a more robust/vigorous root system, basically just waiting for everything underground to improve a little bit, there's no way for me to visually check on things & this is why I've held off on introducing the trays, aside from the Faster Master the other two plants seem healthy, with the browning I saw during transplant, really do think that would have been the earlier stages of root rot I was seeing vs stains or something, was using unaerated bottled water that sat stagnant in the pots for 5 to 6 days at a time throughout most of this grow, I do not think my regular watering techniques would have been a problem even with the unaerated bottled water if I decided to buff the roots early on which I normally do, the Monosilicic Acid really does make a significant difference, decided to upload a picture of with & without for now & will be back tomorrow with a regular update !

Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with 0.1ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water, little bit of droop but they should bounce back by tomorrow morning !
Removed the humidifier from the tent to make more space & also went through with a light defoliation on the Rockstar Kush so more tops are receiving direct light
Temps & RH were pretty good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 03/16/26***
Plants responded well to the last watering! Am going to feed one last time once the pots have dried out & give that a couple days to dry back before I introduce the AC Infinity self watering trays, the plants seem to be in good shape & have basically recovered in full after switching over to aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water from the un PH'd bottled water!
Temps were a bit high throughout the day today, RH has remained close to 40%

Nothing really needed to be done today, pots are still saturated & I will not have to worry about feeding for another day or two, temps were very low during lights off last night & they were also below 23c throughout most of the day today, plants are currently drooping & I assume this is a result of colder soil temps, everything should be back to normal shortly :P
Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!!
***UPDATE 03/18/26***
Gave each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.2
Temps/RH have returned to normal & the plants have picked back up!
***UPDATE 03/19/26***
Plants responded extremely well to yesterdays feed, everything looks great!
Will go through & top one last time before the week is out & introduce the AC Infinity self watering trays, once topped I want to give each plant a couple nodes prior to the flip, the space has already filled out quite nicely, high chance I will probably have to do some tie outs / training after topping !
Temps/RH have been pretty good today although RH has remained low
***UPDATE 03/20/26***
Cleaned & set up the AC Infinity self watering trays! Filled each tray with 3L of water, a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water at a PH of 6.17, will monitor PH drift in the coming days to ensure there is no issue
Raised the light a bit now that pots have been boosted, hot spot is sitting around 490 uMOL
Temps/RH were really good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 03/21/26***
All 3 plants responded extremely well to the AC Infinity self watering trays as well as the bump in light intensity, actually the happiest I have seen them in quite a while!
PH drift will more than likely cause issues over time... Checked this afternoon & it has risen from 6.17 all the way up to 6.95 in less than 24hrs... Not good but am thankful it decided to rise vs decline (for now that is), I think now is probably the best time for me to experiment with water in these trays & see what I can do to stabilize my plain mixtures, the soil itself should buffer to a certain degree but the heavy swings in PH can cause stress, checked my regular mix of 50/50 aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water & it sits in around 220ppm which is way too low, assume the town has flushed all the pipes recently as this is much lower than usual, I may try a 30/70 - 20/80 mix the next time around to see if that helps, 360ppm is what I will try & aim for, Cronks PUUR organics line does leave sediment in the trays & PH ends up even worse so there is nothing I can really add to boost ppm atm product wise w/o messing up the trays, if PH decides to swing heavily during a 30/70 - 20/80 mixture am thinking I could probably get away with just adding less water to the trays, I have a 4 tray Spider Farmer self watering system with reservoir I had problems with as well a few grows back & I don't want either system to go to waste, they do work extremely well & I did notice a significant difference in terms of overall health/vigor + roots vs hand watering or garden sprayer the last time I used them prior to things turning south, I just have to figure out what works best water wise!
Aside from this everything is looking great on the current day! Will continue to monitor & take notes PH wise until the trays are empty, will rinse & repeat when trying new mixtures until I have that dialed in!
I am going to top all 3 plants soon & give the new tops a couple nodes before I switch over to 12/12 but the flip is coming up shortly as well!
Temps/RH have been good throughout the day today!
* Was able to top each plant & went through with a heavy defoliation tonight before the light shuts off, some light LST on the Rockstar Kush, used some grow tie to pull a couple branches that had a little too much reach inwards towards the center of the plant & I also pinched some tissue on a couple of the outside branches & hooked them to other side branches in order to center those out as well!
Water wise the PH in the self watering system also continued to rise, was up around 7.2 so I siphoned what I could out of the trays & replaced it with an unknown ratio of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water that was reading at 288ppm, PH'd to 5.8 & gave each plant 2L of this mixture, 2 trays read 6.0 after combining with the leftover water & the 3rd tray read 6.1, I think the best way to go about this would be to use less water & top the trays up as they approach a PH of 7.0, end goal would be to figure out what they can drink before it reaches that point & just replenish as necessary, 2L was probably a bit too much & I may end up having to siphon water out again, will continue to monitor PH & once the trays hit 7.0 i will check how much water is left in each individual tray so I have a rough idea of how much each plant is drinking before PH gets iffy
***UPDATE 03/23/26***
Plants responded well to Saturdays defoliation/topping! Water wise PH ended up drifting upwards to 6.8 in roughly 48 hours time, the 2L per plant is almost gone so I figured I would leave it for now & top the trays up tomorrow afternoon, am thinking 2L per tray is the current sweet spot, maybe a smidge less, plants will drink this before PH can hit 7.0 if I PH in around 5.8 - 6.0 which works for me!
There are 2 branches in the center of the Rockstar Kush that still need to be pulled inwards a bit, will anchor them to each other tomorrow afternoon as well
Temps/RH were pretty good throughout the day today

Trays for the UBC Chemo & Rockstar Kush were empty around 7pm today, did drop down to 1.5L per plant at a PH of 5.9 on the refill for now, water is a 40/60 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water that sits around 410ppm, the Faster Master is drinking slower & still had roughly 400ml of water left in the tray, I did not bother emptying it out just topped it up with 1L of the same mixture
Noticed a little bit of wavy yellowing within the Rockstar Kush, found this on some of the larger fan leaves when I was tying two of the center branches closer together so they aren't shading some of the lower outside branches, most definitely an issue with PH! Also think I'm seeing some discoloration aside from newer growth amongst the other two as well, unsure if this would be a low starting PH of 5.8 - 5.9 that is causing issues, kind of leaning more towards drastic swings in PH as larger amounts of water sit, will continue to monitor the plants in the coming days & try to correct this issue, they may end up off the trays if I continue to see a decline!
Water wise I took some visual notes throughout this grow before introducing the self watering trays, when I had the plants on plain bottled water at a PH of 8.2 the Faster Master seemed to be the one that was the most sensitive to alkaline water & showed a concerning amount of damage, the UBC Chemo showed a small amount of damage but nothing severe & the Rockstar Kush remained absolutely pristine/unbothered the entire way through, they all do well with RO/tap mixes in between 6.1 - 6.4 when watering from the top & I have not let them go above 7.2 while sitting on the trays, ideally I would like to keep them under 6.8 at all times, for the Rockstar Kush to be showing the clearest signs of a decline I'm assuming it is a tad bit more sensitive to the current swing in PH vs the other two, should be able to differentiate between a low starting PH & PH swing in the next couple of days after todays lighter 5.9 top up!
Hoping I can flip over to 12/12 at the end of the week if the plants are healthy, should have a couple of nodes on each new top by then which is what i'm aiming for :P
Temps/RH have been pretty good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 03/26/26***
Still having issues with the self watering trays... Plants are happy but they are still steadily declining in terms of overall health, hard to tell in the photos but all 3 plants have burnt including new tops, the serrated edges of the fan leaves on the UBC Chemo started to curl inwards from watering day on the 24th up until now, I think this would be the results of a low starting PH vs heavier swings in PH because the curled edges have started to flatten out again as the PH would rise, attributing a majority of these problems to a low starting PH, this would also include the wavy yellowness on some of the larger fan leaves + burnt edges/tips i'm seeing amongst all 3 plants, trays are almost empty & PH has stabilized at 7.2, 2/3 tend to show signs of a decline up around here as well its just a bit slower, I should be able to top feed tomorrow afternoon once the trays/pots have dried out, will be aiming for a PH of 6.3, shall keep an eye on overall health & from there am thinking I want to try one more refill on the self watering trays & see how they do, will be dropping down to 1L each at a PH of 6.2 before I give up on them... The self watering trays really do work well am just having problems with the water I've been using, it can't sit in the trays for very long without issue & I do not want to add anything synthetic to my mixture in order to stabilize...
I may run an extra weeks worth of veg in attempts to figure these trays out before the flip, got some really good news in terms of ACMPR & this is kind of playing into my decision to run a bit longer as well! I finally heard back from them 9 months on the dot & Health Canada requires a little bit more information before we can proceed, it is information I am indeed able to provide :P Assume I will have my papers in hand before I finish this run but there is a high chance I'm gonna end up with a little bit of down time moving from A to B! Everything is good to go for the most part but I still need to throw some framework/drywall up + sanitize in order to create my space, want to build long platforms out of skids & particle board for the plants as well so the pots aren't sitting on the cold concrete floors, I also need to save a bit of money for a cubic yard of LSO & I'm gonna need 4L jugs of nutrients + microbes which can be quite expensive, plan is to start at 36 plants with 2 clones off each minus a few to keep the numbers right, once I'm able too of course, super stoked!!
Photos were taken early today, temps/RH were good throughout the entire day!
***UPDATE 03/28/26***
Pots were dry this morning so I gave each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.3, this was a top watering vs trays
Raised the clip fans & also turned the one above the UBC Chemo down to 3 from 10 for now, possibility the serrated edges of leaves that curled inwards on the UBC could have something to do with lower RH & wind damage vs starting PH, this fan in particular was on full blast + directly on the Chemo
Damage I thought I was seeing is much less severe than i initially thought, some burnt tips on newer growth here & there but that's about it which is good! Newer fan leaves are much larger than what came before them after the plants have sat on the self watering trays for a bit, overall growth is a lot more vigorous in general, the UBC Chemo is already due for another full on defoliation which I will follow through on tomorrow afternoon!
Space in the 2x4 is close to maxed out & I was going to veg throughout the entirety of week 9 but am thinking I will flip over to 12/12 once the second set of fan leaves on new tops have folded outwards, should be good to go in the next couple of days, early into week 9 at the latest!
Temps/RH were really good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 03/30/26***
Refilled the self watering trays with 1.5L of water each at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Went through with a fairly hefty defoliation to open up the center of the plants
Temps were pretty high today & RH remained low, starting to get 50% RH during lights off now that the snow has melted !

connormcleod47 ***UPDATE 03/31/26***
Decided to flip over to 12/12 today because 3rd nodes on new tops have started to come in on each plant, very minor PH burn from a low starting PH while using the self watering trays, this resulted in some burnt tips but all 3 of them seem relatively healthy otherwise!
Adjusted the light to where the tallest plant is now receiving roughly 675 uMOL of light, am just below 600 uMOL on the edges with the shorter plants while at 75% power (300w), I also raised the clip fans !
Nutrient wise not much is going to change during flower, I am gonna bump the potassium up to 2ml/L, the Armadillo Armor will get bumped up to 0.2ml/L & I will also introduce blackstrap molasses on the next feed at 1.25ml/L, plan on running these exact increments throughout the entirety of flower, this mixture is what seems to work best for me, will be feeding them once a week vs every other watering this go since a majority of the LSO in each pot is brand new out of a fresh bag!
Temps are high today at 30C, will see what I can do to bring those down a bit in the coming days! RH has been good so far, currently resting in between 40% - 50% which is where I want to be!
***UPDATE 04/01/26***
Temperature continued to rise after yesterdays update & I ended up at 33.4c during the last hour of lights on! Dropped back down to 50% power & readjusted the light to where the tallest plant is now receiving roughly 600 uMOL of light, am at roughly 525 uMol on the edges, this should be ok for now but am gonna have to figure out what I can do to bring temps down while at 75% power if I want to run 800+ uMOL in this setup, temps at 50% power have been around 24c - 26c so far this morning which is good but 700 - 800 ish uMOL is probably the most I'm able to get out of this light at 200w, will probably throw a couple more clip fans up top to cool the bars & will get a better one on the ballast itself before the day is out so I can bump back up to 300w w/o heat issues, could not get a birds eye shot of the Rockstar Kush because of how low the light is, plant is very wide & I couldn't fit it in frame so I took one from the front for today :P!
***UPDATE 04/02/26***
Temps/RH have remained decent so I decided I'm just gonna leave everything in the setup alone for a couple days & let the plants stretch past the current 600 uMOL before upping the wattage
Self watering trays are getting close to empty, am hoping I can stretch what's left right up until Saturday mornings feed, looks doable from here which is good!
Realized I'm able to get the Rockstar Kush in frame while the light is low if I take the picture horizontally & rotate the photo afterwards, worked out well & am back to a birds eye view on all 3 plants!
***UPDATE 04/03/26***
Early morning update, plants are happy & nothing really needs to be done today, the UBC Chemo's self watering tray is completely empty & the other two trays only have 100ml ish of water left per tray, this should carry them comfortably right up until tomorrows feed! Thinking I will drop down to 1L per tray the next time I fill them, 1.5L per tray managed to last 5 days & I want to shoot closer to 3 day refills!
Will readjust the light & add/replace some clip fans during tomorrows feed, cant say I would recommend the Mars Hydro clip fans for an enclosed space if you are dealing with negative air pressure, I have version 1 & version 2 fans & the gears on 4/8 fans have slipped, 2 of each version over the span of 1 - 3 grows, the fans no longer rotate on a 45 or 90 degree after running into the walls of the tent when the door is closed! Had some metal L brackets in behind each fan when I was using my 4x4 & that did solve the problem but edges of the brackets were kind of sharp & started to tare holes in the tent over time, might try them again in the 2x4 but am either going to grind the edges down so they are rounded or try to find something I can slip over the ends to prevent tares!
Temps/RH are off to a really good start today, basically ideal! Everything has been working fine for now but am gonna clean all of the filters inside my AC & air purifier for tomorrow in hopes to get a little bit more out of them as needed!
***UPDATE 04/04/26***
Gave each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.3
Readjusted the light & upped wattage to 75% power / 300w, the tallest plant is now receiving roughly 800 uMOL of light, am at roughly 630 uMOL on the edges, added a clip fan up top & have it oscillating horizontally across the light length wise & I moved the one I had directly on the ballast to the pole on the roof, it is oscillating vertically across the ballast, have managed to stay below 26c throughout the entire day so far, much better than the 33c I was dealing with while at 75% power / 300w the other day ! This seems to be what will work best in my 2x4! RH has been very good as well, am very close to ideal overall!
***UPDATE 04/05/26***
Plants seem to have responded well to yesterdays feed as well as the bump in light intensity! I also went through with another defoliation to open up center canopies again before the light shut off yesterday & everything is looking happy/healthy this morning, spotted a couple leaves I should remove from the Faster Master that I missed, gonna grab them after this update!
Unexpectedly dialed temps/RH for now, been averaging 25c / 45% RH after all of the adjustments!
***UPDATE 04/06/26***
Refilled each self watering tray with 1L of water at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Good 1st week of flower! Not seeing any signs of a decline & all 3 plants have remained happy/healthy!
Temps & RH have been ok today, 25c / 40% RH for the most part but am seeing 28c / 37% RH during the afternoon

Plants responded well to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays! Bit of an unexpected cold front which resulted in very cold temps throughout the night at 14C, luckily all 3 plants seem unphased & this will also make for good day temps while the light is on! RH has dipped below 40% but should rise back up a bit throughout the day!
Everything is on track & looking good! Will continue to run the mixture of nutrients listed above once a week every Saturday right up until they finish, no problems whatsoever this time around, these specific increments & schedule seem to be what works best for me, burnt tips & the odd burnt leaf in throughout were caused by a low starting PH as well as PH drift when I 1st introduced the self watering trays, do find it easier / less problematic to start around 6.1 & just refill more often vs refilling with larger amounts that sit stagnant for long periods of time & drift upwards, 100% worth the extra effort for the effect these trays have on the plants, want to say I have the technique dialed at this point & I'm glad I chose to run them again this go!
Growth wise the UBC Chemo & Faster Master are moving a bit quicker than the Rockstar Kush & both have been confirmed female without any issues, both had started to preflower prior to the flip where the Rockstar Kush did not, could be why they seem to be progressing at a faster pace ! Hoping to see some pistils on that Rockstar Kush during week 2, dropped advertised flowering times down below, they are all quite similar !
UBC Chemo: 42 - 49 days
Rockstar Kush: 49 days
Faster Master: 52 days
***UPDATE 04/08/26***
Nothing really needed to be done today, self watering trays aren't quite empty but will need a refill early tomorrow morning!
Temps were a bit higher than I would've liked today & RH remained low
***UPDATE 04/09/26***
Self watering trays were empty this morning so I refilled each of them with 1L of water at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
The plants have really started to take off between today & yesterday! Buds are starting to form on the UBC Chemo & Faster Master, also found some bracts in throughout the Rockstar Kush but no pistils as of yet, very similar to how my Odo Wan Kanobi #50 started a couple grows back!
Plan on thinning out the center canopy on the UBC Chemo after todays update so lower bud sites can receive more light, there's a fair bit going on underneath some of the new fan leaves!
Double checked light intensity as the plants continue to stretch, the tallest plant is currently receiving 830 uMOL of light, I should be ok to leave the light where it is for the remainder of the grow although I may try to shoot closer to 1,000 uMOL in the next 7 - 10 days if they continue to prosper, will also see what I can do to boost the UBC Chemo & Faster Master for an even canopy once the self watering trays have dried out!
Temps/RH have been decent so far today, RH could be a little better but no real complaints
***UPDATE 04/10/26***
Plants responded extremely well to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays! Hard to tell in the photos but there was some explosive growth in less than 24 hours! Buds are starting to form at the top of the Rockstar Kush but barely any bracts & no pistils anywhere else on the plant which is quite strange, buds forming on the UBC Chemo & Faster Master are starting to develop faster than what I'm use to normally seeing as well, even in comparison to some of the autoflowers I've grown in the past!
Temps/RH are off to a good start today, I should be able to maintain them throughout the day!
***UPDATE 04/11/26***
Top fed each plant with 1L of water mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.3, accidentally did a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water this feed instead of straight aerated RO, it shouldn't really bother them I think !
Self watering trays aren't quite dry yet, still plan on boosting the UBC Chemo & Faster Master to create an even canopy once the trays are dry!
Temps/RH are almost spot on today which is good!
***UPDATE 04/12/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays feed! I should be able to refill the self watering trays tomorrow morning w/0 issue as well! The UBC Chemo's self watering tray is currently bone dry & the Rockstar Kush + Faster Master trays only contain like 100ml - 200ml per tray give or take, will be boosting the UBC Chemo & Faster Master Tomorrow prior to that refill!
Noticed some clear, textbook signs of nitrogen abundance within the UBC Chemo & Faster Master, very minor & is just the odd leaf that's curled inward/downwards cylindrically & clawed, a singular leaf on the UBC Chemo, 3 including the 2 I removed during the last defoliation & would have been 7 or 8 ish on the Faster Master prior to removing roughly 4 of them during the last defoliation, simply removed for the overall aesthetic of the plants, I may dial back slightly on the nitrogen or cut it in half next feed although it is not necessary imo, nitrogen abundance is the one I worry the least about & this abundance is the one I have the most experience with, there were grows of times past where I've had it much worse to where it was entire plants + all leaves & the end product still turned out great w/o any loss in overall quality i feel, again very minor instance here with the current plants & i don't think I really need to change anything increment wise, this is beneficial for my notes !
Temps were a tad bit higher than I would have liked today but nothing extreme, RH has also kept a tad bit lower as a result
***UPDATE 04/13/26***
Refilled each self watering tray with 1L of water at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Boosted the UBC Chemo & Faster Master to form an even canopy, each plant is now receiving roughly 850 uMOL of light !
Might have to start taking ultrawide photos in order to fit each plant fully in frame, gonna start taking bud shots tomorrow at the start week 3 flower as well!
Temps/RH are off to a good start today !

Plants responded well to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays ! The UBC Chemo & Faster Master are drinking a lot faster than usual as they continue to stretch, the pair of them have basically drank the entire refill in roughly 24hrs time & I will probably need to replenish the self watering trays tomorrow morning, the Rockstar Kush isn't quite there yet & the majority of it's liter still remains, the plant seems healthy but I will be monitoring this one closely, a fair bit of runoff ended up in the tray during Saturdays top feed, water escaped between the gap that's in between the fabric pot & the cake of dirt that formed medium wise, this has caused some sediment to form in the tray that can potentially throw my PH off on refills, had read Monosilicic Acid (which would be the Armadillo Armour in my case) is not a good one to have in any type of self watering tray or reservoir for this reason, I will water more towards the center of the plants & slowly during weekly feeds from here just to be safe!
All in all the plants seem happy/healthy for the time being as they start week 3, some burnt tips/edges on newer growth but very minor in terms of overall damage, the UBC Chemo is showing a tad more burn than the others, may dial back on the potassium a bit during the next feed although this issue in general could also be caused by PH drift, unable to make a straight call vs something like nitrogen abundancy which i spotted earlier during week 2 flower, that one was much easier to diagnose, nutrients in general right now, to just continue on with my set increments each week would be good for my notes as I'm barely reaching the thresholds for damage even in a worst case scenario & it allows me to see what these plants do & do not like + how their preferences vary from strain to strain, trying to get into that zone prior to upping my plant count which hopefully will be soon :P
Was late opening the tent today & temps were high around 29c into the early afternoon, back down to 24 - 26c for the rest of the day, RH has been good throughout the entire day!
Daily bud shots alongside the plants from here as well, also started taking pictures of the plants themselves in ultrawide mode so they fit in frame !
***UPDATE 04/15/26***
Nothing really needs to be done today, will be refilling 2/3 trays later on this afternoon with a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water once they are empty, 1L each at a PH of 6.1 as always !
Temps/RH off to a really good start today, RH wise i'm back around 47% an hour or so after taking pictures!
***UPDATE 04/16/26***
Refilled the self watering trays, the UBC Chemo & Faster Master roughly 650ml of water at a PH of 6.1 & the Rockstar Kush got a slight top up at 300ml, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water, hoping for the trays to be empty come Saturday for when I top feed, can top feed while water is still in the trays I just prefer not too !
Trichs are starting to come in on all 3 plants! Most noticeably on the UBC Chemo, things are starting to move fast! Took note on rapid bud development on the UBC Chemo between today & yesterday, buds that are forming are nearly twice the size within a 24hr period of time! No real smell as of yet although others in the house say they can smell them :P
Temps were good throughout the day, RH was a tad higher than I would have liked up around 53% on average
***UPDATE 04/17/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays, everything should be dried out & ready for tomorrows feed!
Temps/RH have been good today, noticed I'm able to maintain better averages when the tent is completely closed, a 1st for me in this current setup, not quite sure how this is working as ambient temps outside of the tent are much cooler!
***UPDATE 04/18/26***
Top fed each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.3 shortly after taking pictures today, aside from top feed there is a possibility I might run into some issues with PH drift as I continue to run the self watering trays, my mixtures do not stay stable for long & I noticed some increased yellowing around the edges of the UBC Chemo as well as a fair bit of sediment in the Rockstar Kush's self watering tray, damage is still somewhat minor, they have been on the trays for 25 days but there is always a chance things could turn south, the Faster Master seems to be in excellent condition which surprised me because it was the most problematic plant out of 3 in terms of PH drift during veg & early flower, shall continue to monitor them as time goes by!
Double checked PAR & I'm up around 930 uMOL in the center & 860 uMOL on the sides, will probably raise the light a couple inches tomorrow, the top fans on the Rockstar Kush are praying quite heavily !
Noticed the Faster Master has caught up to the Rockstar Kush height wise during the stretch! Tops are pretty much dead even, might try & angle the light when I go to raise it as the UBC Chemo is a bit shorter
Temps/RH have been good today, still not understanding why the tent is cooler when the door is shut vs open because ambient temps outside of the tent are much cooler, I fully opened the door for about an hour when I mixed up nutrients for todays feed & temps jumped from 24c up to 26.3c, have since closed the door & temps are slowly dropping back down to 24c, I guess if it's not broke don't try & fix it xD I'd prefer to run this setup with the door closed anyways so this works for me!
***UPDATE 04/19/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays feed!
Upon further inspection am calling game on the Rockstar Kush, the plant is absolutely riddled with clusters of pollen sacks... Did not think I would run into this issue & should have been inspecting the plants more thoroughly... Removed the Rockstar Kush from the 2x4, plan on mulching it shortly...
Assume this is my fault & I'm pointing more towards light intensity over everything else because of how hard this plant inparticular was praying while in the hotspot, possibility the nutrients that found their way into the self watering tray played their part although the plant did not seem all too stressed in this area... I found 2 pollen sacks on the side of the Faster Master that was closest to the Rockstar Kush which I quickly removed, both plants were indeed touching as I tried to utilize the most space I possibly could, the UBC Chemo has remained fully in tact from what I can see, will continue to monitor what remains very closely!
Raised the light a couple inches to where my hotspot is in around 800 uMOL
Temps/RH have been good today, still a very upsetting day...
***UPDATE 04/20/26***
Refilled each self watering tray with 1L of water at a PH of 6.0, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Ran another thorough inspection & the UBC Chemo + Faster Master seem to be in the safe zone! Thinking I might set my 2x2 up again since I only have 2 plants atm, should have my ACMPR shortly & if I manage to receive the necessary documents in a timely manor a couple of new ones right now wont effect the timing of the next run so I should be good to go, autoflowers make the most sense in my current situation, gonna go over everything I have & pick a couple out (secondary diary incoming)!
Temps/RH have been good today, all in all I think these 2 remaining plants should finish up just fine, start of week 4 flower tomorrow, HAPPY 420!

Plants responded well to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays!
Not much needed to be done today, went through the plants again & couldn't find any nanners or pollen sacks which is good, everything seems to be back on track now that the Rockstar Kush has been removed from the tent!
Started a second run in the 2x2 & decided to go with Night Owl Seeds this time around! Will be growing their Chem 'N" Kush (Pre 98 Episode 1 F4 x Chem 91 F4) & Instant Classik (Pre 98 Episode 1 F4 x Marathon OG F3), the diary went live yesterday if anyone is interested in checking it out! Both are autoflowers & the Pre 98 Episode 1 in these crosses are (Pre 98 Bubba Kush *Clone Only*) x (Skywalker x Triangle Kush) !
Temps/RH have been pretty good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 04/22/26***
Nothing really needed to be done today, temps were a smidge higher than ideal & RH was a bit low, managed to even everything out a bit shortly after taking pictures today & am back at 25c 40% RH
***UPDATE 04/23/26***
Refilled each self watering tray with 500ml of bottled water at a PH of 6.1, this should carry them right up until the next feed on Saturday!
Temps were a bit higher today & RH remained low
***UPDATE 04/24/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays, will be time for another feed tomorrow afternoon!
Temps were very consistent throughout the day today only fluctuating by 0.1 degrees! RH was a bit low & remained below 40%
***UPDATE 04/25/26***
Gave each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.2 shortly after taking pictures, todays feed was a tad bit late, 1hr before lights off!
Temps were a bit higher than I would have liked today but nothing extreme, RH remained close to 40%, been getting a dead on 50% each night during lights off
***UPDATE 04/26/26***
Early morning update, plants responded well to yesterdays feed although I'm thinking I want to dial the potassium back to 1ml/L on the next one, little bit of wavy yellowing & burnt edges/tips are a little worse in between today & yesterday, the UBC Chemo has turned a lighter green when compared to day 1 of this week. PH drift is more than likely a main culprit as well, leaning more towards damage vs the plant gearing up to throw some color !
Checked where the nose is at today by rubbing some lower buds! Smelling Chem/gas on the UBC Chemo & Gas/Kush on the Faster Master, exactly what I'm always after terp wise :P
Temps are off to a good start today & RH has been really good so far too!
***UPDATE 04/27/26***
Refilled each self watering tray with 1L of water, a 50/50 mix of aerated RO/dechlorinated tap water at a PH of 6.0
Was a bit late on the refill today roughly 1hr before lights off, tops of the pots still seemed moist but plants were drooped quite heavily before I got to them, a fair bit of yellowing towards the bottom of each plant, will for sure be dropping the potassium down to 1ml/L on the next feed!
Temps were a bit high today & RH remained low

connormcleod47 ***UPDATE 04/28/26***
Plants did not respond well to yesterdays refill... Noticed there was some slime on the walls/bottom of the 5 gal bucket I keep my RO water in when I went to refill that last night, this is undesired microbial activity, a slimey membrane that forms in order to protect harmful bacteria that will grow when the water is exposed to light for a substantial amount of time, the RO system removes chlorine which usually keeps this kind of thing under control, I also aerate my storage 24/7 which does not help much in this case either, it can lead to root rot in short! My water was still clear & the issue went unnoticed, will have to grab some lids for my storage buckets to prevent this from happening again, I assume this is why the plants have been slowly declining over the past week, both are currently drooping a bit & yellowing has worked its way in slowly but surely, more severe damage towards the bottom of the plants, I plan on adding some Great White myco to my next refill in order to combat this issue, have read myco/trichoderma should kill this type of bacteria & help protect the roots, will also add some into my next top feed as well, cleaned/sanitized my 5 gal bucket & just refilled for now, also replaced the air stone !
Feel as though this run should still finish up just fine, plants are really starting to stank too! Sour/Chem on the UBC Chemo & a DANK kushy nose on the Faster Master, super stoked on these ones!
Temps/RH have been pretty good so far today!
* Read it's not a good idea to put Great White myco in a self watering tray as it's not 100% water soluble, I ended up ripping the plants off the wicks this afternoon instead, cleaned trays back to brand new & replaced the wicks, refilled each tray with 1L of water at a PH of 6.0, water was a 50/50 mix of clean aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
***UPDATE 04/29/26***
Plants are in rough shape today... Bottom fans are continuing to yellow & drooping quite heavily, am hoping they bounce back over the next couple of days after being torn off the old wicks! Pots are for sure saturated after replacing wicks & cleaning the trays, can feel this by weight, stems on middles/tops are still perky on both plants but foliage has drooped a bit there as well, looks worse in person vs pictures, not much I can really do from here in order to help them, hoping to see some recovery over the next couple days instead of a further decline...
Temps/RH have been pretty good so far today
***UPDATE 04/30/26***
Still seeing a steady decline in overall health as these continue to grow, hoping things manage to pick up over the next couple of days, could very well be game over shortly, looking like severe damage at the absolute minimum which is not good...
Temps/RH have been pretty good today
***UPDATE 05/01/26***
Plants are continuing to struggle, am seeing a lot more yellowing in between today & yesterday, both seem a tad bit perkier today vs the earlier portion of this week, very small improvements aside from yellowing which i guess is good, still some hope left!
The smells coming off each of these plants are absolutely ridiculous! Am 99% sure both will smoke if they make it to the finish line, STRONG dank kush on the Faster Master, it is legitimately top tier & a Chem/Sour on the UBC Chemo, have had stronger chem on the nose in regards to the UBC Chemo but it is still very present, factor in the effects with this particular strain & it's very hard to top or even par when it comes to an absolute knockout, terps are just a highly welcomed bonus!
I will be running both of these again immediately once I have the proper paperwork & can up my plant count, very high chance I'm gonna have to reach out & grab a 100 pack of each, they still got 2 1/2 - 3 weeks before they will finish but I know EXACTLY where they're about to go!!
Temps/RH have been really good so far today!
***UPDATE 05/02/26***
Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.2, dropped potassium down to 1ml/L this feed, I also dusted the top of each pot with Great White Myco before watering in hopes the plants will pick up a bit, costly product but I figured it's worth a shot if it can potentially save my plants, tops/mids are still looking pretty good but the lower portions & a lot of the larger fan leaves are really starting to die off, still just hoping they live long enough to make it to the finish line!
Temps/RH have been pretty good so far today!
***UPDATE 05/03/26***
Plants seem to have responded well to yesterdays feed, confident they will at least make it to the chop at this point! Most of the fan leaves towards the bottom of the faster master + a majority of fans throughout the UBC Chemo are most likely past the point of no return but what remains should still be ok, a lot of healthy green above burnt fans on the Faster Master, majority of the UBC Chemo has yellowed, unphased/perky green underneath tops in the center of the plant, ruined the overall aesthetic for the rest of the grow, end product should still turn out just fine :P Lots of frost starting to come in on the Faster Master!
Temps/RH have been good today!
***UPDATE 05/04/26***
Refilled each self watering tray with 1L of water at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Went through & removed a lot of the dead/burnt leaves towards the bottom of the plants, everything seems to be back on track now!
Temps/RH are off to a good start today!

Plants responded just ok to yesterdays refill on the self watering trays, I was a tad bit early on the refill after Saturdays top feed, everything should even out shortly!
Not seeing any signs of a further decline & it's looking like the worst is over, will be more careful with water storage moving forward!
Temps are a bit higher than I would like today but RH has been good!
***UPDATE 05/06/26***
Ah, right when I thought I was in the clear have started to see a further decline in the UBC Chemo over the last 24hrs, some leaves have started to curl inwards/downwards & I suspect this is root rot vs overwatering, will continue to monitor each plant but there isn't really much I can do to help them atm, still just hoping I'm able to make it to chop day, the UBC Chemo does not have much more to go!
On the + side trichs have really started to come in & both plants smell absolutely ridiculous, really do hope both are able to live long enough to fully ripen!
Temps are a bit high today which is ok for now, RH has been good so far today!
*Realized wicks are clogged & the plants are drooping because the pots are dry about 2 hrs before the light shuts off for the day, am glad I lifted the pots right up to check because they seemed heavy despite not being saturated, I would have missed it otherwise, portion of the wicks the pots sit on are basically bone dry with water still in the trays, am gonna switch back to top watering for the remainder of the grow
Ended up giving each plant 1L of water mixed with 0.2ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water, will be pulling the self watering trays out of the tent tomorrow morning!
***UPDATE 05/07/26***
Noticed an immediate improvement within 18hrs of yesterdays top watering, these will 110% live to see the chop which is a relief! The UBC Chemo almost looks like it has been damaged due to light bleaching when I take a closer look although bud/sugar leaves near the top have all remained in tact, some fans towards the bottom have turned white which is odd, it's currently sitting at 850 uMOL so there shouldn't be any problems, possibility it's just weak tissue that has been exposed to light & they are starting to turn white as a result, most of the heavier damage was originally towards the bottoms of these plants when I accidentally watered them with biofilm a week & a bit ago, assume the worst is done & I should be good to go from here!
Decided to leave the self watering trays in the tent just to keep the plants boosted, I will not be refilling them again, will be top watering/feeding for the remainder of the grow!
Temps/RH have been really good so far today!
***UPDATE 05/08/26***
Plants are continuing to do well despite yellowing & burn that occurred, mentioned this yesterday & no longer have any concerns, confident they will make it to the chop from here!
Very little seeds on the Faster Master, have counted a total of 3 throughout the entire plant including the one in the daily nug shot & there are absolutely 0 seeds throughout the UBC Chemo, assume the Rockstar Kush I pulled from the tent a couple weeks back is to blame for what is there, not really complaining as this could have been much worse!
Temps/RH are off to a good start today, regular feed using nutrients listed above coming up tomorrow!
***UPDATE 05/09/26***
Gave each plant 1L of aerated RO mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.1, thinking this will be the last feed prior to the chop! Both are supposed to finish around the 7 week mark & I'm not too far off from that, the Faster Master may go closer to 8!
Now have lids on the buckets I store/aerate my water in so the light cannot effect the water! Replaced air stones & cleaned tubing on the pump, shouldn't have to worry about any contaminates or biofilm from here!
Temps/RH have been pretty good so far today!
***UPDATE 05/10/26***
Early morning update, plants responded well to yesterdays feed!
Buds on the UBC Chemo have bulked out nicely & it's looking like they are done with the swell, I would say 14 more days at the max in order to fully ripen!
Temps/RH are off to a good start today
***UPDATE 05/11/26***
Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with 0.1ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water, everything is right on track to finish up nicely from here!

Plants responded well to yesterdays watering! Is looking like these ones should finish up in the next 14 days or so & I will be cutting out feed entirely from here right up until harvest! It's not 100% necessary when running organics/LSO but I do plan on reusing the soil once these are finished & am hoping the current plants are able to use up what is still in there nutrient wise so I don't burn my new plants on the next run, shall continue to run the microbes & monosilicic acid during each watering as this is good for the soil itself & it should help break everything that's in there down a little bit quicker!
Shaping up to be a great end to this run despite running into problems around week 5 flower! Not an insane amount of crystal on the UBC Chemo, overall effects are what's most desirable with this plant, bag appeal is most definitely a secondary, terp wise am still getting that Sour/Chem on the rub with the Sour being much more pronounced, excellent in short! The Faster Master is absolutely caked & it's a STRONG dank/pure gas/kush on the rub, very familiar with these terps, am hoping it retains these characteristics once dried/cured, taste/smell should be right up there with a straight chem gas wise by the time it's all said & done although it is indeed a different type of gas when compared to a straight chem!
Temps/RH have been spot on today & I have remained within the sweet spot!
***UPDATE 05/13/26***
Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with 0.2ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Temps/RH have been good today!
***UPDATE 05/14/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering, shall continue running 1L per plant every other day right up until harvest!
Temps/RH are off to a good start this morning!
***UPDATE 05/15/26***
Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with bottles listed above at a PH of 6.2, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
These may run a tad longer then I originally thought, both plants are lightly seeded which can tack on a couple of extra weeks flower time in order to fully ripen, the Rockstar Kush that sat in between these two earlier on in the grow is most likely to blame!
No concealing the smell of these plants whatsoever at this point in the game xD Crazy when considering I am only running one of each atm!
Temps were a little high this morning but have since dropped to 25.5c, RH has remained the same
***UPDATE 05/16/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering! Nothing really needed to be done today, will grab some trichome shots to see where everything is at once the week finishes up!
Temps are a bit higher than I would like today but RH has been good!
***UPDATE 05/17/26***
Gave each plant 1L of water mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO &dechlorinated tap water
Temps have been higher than I would like today up around 29c, bit of a heatwave over the next couple of days so I decided to clean my air conditioner back to brand new in hopes I can lower the temps in my room a couple of degrees, RH has been good throughout the day regardless of temps!
***UPDATE 05/18/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering!
Both plants are looking like they could still run for another 14 days in order to fully ripen, early but will be checking trichomes tomorrow at the start of week 8 flower!
The heatwave continues... Temps/RH are both higher than I would like today!

Trichome check today! Both plants are getting close but still seeing a lot of white pistils, possibility these are not maturing at a regular speed due to the fact both plants are lightly seeded, it should have sped this up if anything, will probably run them for the entirety of week 8 flower & see how things are looking towards the end of the week!
Temps/RH have both been higher than I would like today, temps being the main reason I shot each plant a little bit of extra water for now in between points A & B, heatwave should end soon hopefully!
***UPDATE 05/20/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering! Heatwave has ended & temps have been below 23c for most of the day so far today, I should be within the sweet spot soon, gonna take 12 to 24hrs to thaw out my portable AC Unit for tomorrow, I run it 24/7 & it hasn't been blowing air out of the left side for quite some time, nowhere near as efficient as it once was, read the evaporator coils have more than likely froze over which makes sense, we have an identical unit it the other room that doesn't get used nearly as much, it blows much harder on the same settings but the air isn't as cold, some off time in here for now should do the trick, will also help me balance temps more efficiently during those hotter days, I want to try & drop night temps for the remainder of the grow if I can as well!
***UPDATE 05/21/26***
Gave each plant roughly 1.2L of water mixed with 0.2ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water with a splash of bottled water afterwards to bring the PH up some after missing my my initial mark

Day/night temps/RH have been pretty good the past while now that the heatwave is over!
***UPDATE 05/24/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering!
Trichome check tomorrow, it's looking like both of these plants still need a bit more time
Temps have been good today but RH has been on the higher end, gonna need the dehumidifier soon!
***UPDATE 05/25/26***
Gave each plant roughly 1.2L of water mixed with 0.2ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.1, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Checked trichomes today & as suspected the plants still need a little bit more time, they are roughly on par with regular photoperiods in terms of overall development by the looks of things which doesn't bother me all too much so long as they ripen fully, thinking another 7 days or so for 30% amber!
Temps/RH were both a little high today at 28c/58% right up until late afternoon, managed to even everything out for now & dehumidifier will get set up before the day is out!

Still seeing a majority of white pistils but trichomes are saying it's almost time for the chop, will double check half way through the week but do think I could run them right up until the end of the week w/o issue, may try & plan around the weather if there's some cooler days in the near future to ensure an optimal dry!

Double checked trichomes this morning & the Faster Master is close to ready where the UBC Chemo still needs a bit more time by the looks of things, I think what I will do is run them right up until the end of the week & give them a 48hr period of darkness prior to the chop, want to chop the pair of them on the same day, 5 more days excluding today in total!
Temps/RH have been good to start today!
***UPDATE 05/30/26***
Plants responded well to yesterdays watering! The Faster Master has really started to flop over due to the weight of the buds, I was originally thinking it was gonna be the smallest of the 3 when I still had all 3 plants, it may actually take 1st place in terms of overall yield by the time it's said & done despite having fewer tops than the UBC Chemo, what's there is really dense/heavy!
Temps/RH were really good throughout the day today!
***UPDATE 05/31/26***

Temps/RH were really good throughout the day today, another trichome check tomorrow!
***UPDATE 06/01/26***
Decided to give each plant another 1L of water mixed with 0.2ml/L Armadillo Armour, 1ml/L Monkey Juice & 1ml/L Fish Sh!t at a PH of 6.2 today, water was a 50/50 mix of aerated RO & dechlorinated tap water
Checked trichomes & I'm thinking I will give them 2 more days & from there I will also give them a 48-60hr period of darkness prior to the chop, the Faster Master is basically good to go but the UBC Chemo has been a tough read, seeing a lot of clear/half cloudy & amber without many full cloudy trichomes, included a high res shot as last trichome shot for each plant today, I do want to chop the pair of these same day, will update here on week 9 on the day of the chop instead of firing up a week 10 flower tab :P
Temps/RH have been good throughout the day today

The Faster Master has flopped over completely due to the weight of the buds! Propped it back up a bit for now but didn't really bother to do that perfectly since they are coming down shortly anyways, will be giving them 48hrs of darkness once the light shuts off later today at 6:30pm EST & from there will be chopping, another trichome check the day of as well!
Temps were a bit high today, RH has been really good, excited for these to finally come down!
