They are in greenhouse on balcony for 5 days. And they have only 6h of direct light 6-12am. Its enough for photoperiodic? But i think they growth fast. Only one are slower.

Today they been transplated to bigger flowerpot. I was a week away and they grow fast but they have little yellow shade. I not feed them. Today i gave them easy boost from RQS. They have little iron ? Or they have lack of nitrogen ?

They looks better then last week i let them few days and they get back in good condition. First two being topped and the last one i only do LST and try not fertilize her. And i have some fu****ing insects on my balcony the destroy all my herbs and i had to buy a spray to kill them. But today is much better than last week. I gave them easy boost and they have it for ten weeks.

Perfect strain. Easy to grow and to do LST and HST. I have many dense buds because they have only 6h of direct light. I grow them on balcony. But I am really happy with the result. I like this strain i have two more seeds, next year i grow them but in other way. First photos are before harvest. more photos are from today they are in jar for 4 weeks BLESS UP for RQS and thank you to send me seeds.

Oh I just need to say, it doesn't have to be calcitic lime. You can probably use some calmag supplements or something similar too, it's just that calcium is a fairly "safe" thing to add in general, especially for alkalinity.

Ssomeguycommented6 years ago
@Durban458, Oh hey sorry, I replied about calcitic lime while I looked/considered another guy's diary. Sorry for the possible confusion there, just ignore the stuff about the lime I said. It was meant for another guy who had magnesium/calcium imbalance. Now I have to go find that diary and mention that...my bad.

@Durban458, Oh hey, sorry. I probably passed out at some point reading this (because I do remember reading it) and forgot to reply. Fungus gnats (sciara), scales, mites, aphids, caterpillars, some other things, I forget. Difficult to say what the damage you have there is from as I don't have much experience with the stuff, but it looks similar to some damage I've had, and that'd be aphids. Well, destroying them varies, and I didn't always have great success with that. But mostly very simple things, some plant teas/oils, DE, sand, spraying with water, reflective surfaces. I've got almost no budget so I can't buy much. Fungus gnats were basically stopped dead very quickly with sticky tape and a sand covering. Caterpillars I could do very little about other than manually removing them. People recommend BT (which I avoid due to its overuse). Imo you need moth repellents and predators. Mites don't like water much, so sprayed them off with water, didn't have huge problems with them. Aphids love low light and low heat conditions. Ladybugs, reflective surfaces, spraying with water, wiping them off, DE might help and some plant oils like garlic or such could deter them. They very quickly infest struggling plants or in low light conditions, similar to what you say (overnight). Also, ants love to farm much of those things or stuff they produce, so check for ants too. Mostly I hope to attract predators of those pests and keeping the conditions good enough and plants healthy enough to fight them off.

@@Ssomeguy, No problem man. I share photo of leaf. I mean its aphids and little brown insects but i dont now what its that brown insects. And certainle i have problem with Sciara these little bastards. Its terrible one day they weren't there but the next day it was there many. I buy natural spray. I spray them every day. I hope it helps. And what kind of insects did you have and how you destroy them ?

Growing up real nice ⭐⭐⭐

Ssomeguycommentedweek 46 years ago
It's difficult to say what the yellowing is, IF it's deficiency, it's most likely nitrogen (just guessing) but it kinda looks the soil is perhaps a bit too acidic. Maybe consider adding something like a bit of calcitic lime, a tiny bit of extra micronutrients (just in case) and some extra nitrogen. Small amounts, gradually. If you see worsening obviously stop. Good luck!

6 hours direct light is fine, as long as the ambient light is okay too. I've been growing plants with similar conditions since start october, though I have to say, my plants are in like week 36 now...yeah they grew fast and they didn't stop growing. One thing though, I would recommend you rotate your plants regularly (if you can). And if you can, use materialsnear/around the plants that are reflective (white, metal/silver, mirror, etc) to boost ambient light. Is jy in Suid Afrika, boet? Anyway, good luck!

They look great nice plants! That stem looks super thick and nice training. You might want to try diatomaceous earth or some cinnamon water against the aphids worked very well for a friend of mine and the plants seemed to love it. Just cook up 2-4 cinnamon sticks in water for about 20 min, let it sit and mix with water (100ml to 1l water). Theres also the neem option but some people can react allergic to it but this early shouldn't be a problem. I hope this helps with the aphids. Looking forward to see that harvest should be a good one Good luck TDS

Nice grow, this strain is so beautiful... What are you using against insects? I use neem in my plants, it must be used every 4~7 days... Doesn't kill the insects, but keep them away, even if they are already there.
