DE_BW Accidentally turned the early FIM into a clean top this week, but she responded immediately with strong lateral growth and a compact, bushy structure. Internodes remain tight and the side branches are already pushing to take over dominance. If she keeps this momentum, this could turn into a very evenly structured canopy despite the early stress.

DE_BW Week 4 Update: She’s now 28 days old and responded very well to the early FIM and LST, with strong lateral growth and a compact, bushy structure developing. I adjusted feeding this week to 1.5 Micro / 2 Grow / 1 Bloom plus Voodoo Juice, B-52 and a light dose of Bud Candy to support root activity before transition. The canopy is filling out nicely and my main goal now is maximizing node development before she shows sex and enters full stretch.

DE_BW Week 5 – Frostbanger is fully trained and recovering quickly from selective defoliation. The structure is opening up nicely and the canopy is starting to level out as pre-flower approaches. Growth is compact with very tight internodes under strong light, and the plant is responding well to LST while filling the available space.

DE_BW The plant finally started stretching and the structure from topping and heavy LST is paying off with many evenly distributed bud sites. Growth was slow early on, but the plant is very healthy and the canopy is now forming nicely as flowering begins. 🌱

DE_BW The first official week of flowering is complete. During this phase, the plant showed a noticeable stretch and transitioned from a very compact structure into a more open, light-efficient canopy. At the beginning of the week, only a few tops were clearly defined, while most bud sites were still in early pre-flower stages. Over the course of the week, this changed significantly: multiple bud sites became active and started to develop visibly. The distribution of tops across the canopy is very even, which is a direct result of early training (topping + LST). Stretch averaged around ~1 cm per day, with a slight acceleration toward the end of the week. Current plant height is approximately 32 cm. Despite the relatively short overall height, the vertical growth of individual branches improved light penetration and overall efficiency. The structure remains compact but no longer overly dense. Internodal spacing is moderate, indicating a more indica-leaning phenotype. At the same time, the branches appear strong enough to support future bud development. The plant is responding well overall. After a brief adjustment phase (water/light changes), it has returned to active growth with healthy leaf structure. Leaf color is a consistent, healthy green with no visible deficiencies or signs of overfeeding. Actions & Setup: • Increased light intensity (prime position in the tent) • Light defoliation to expose bud sites • Nutrients still in transition phase (2-2-2 to 2-2-3.5 ratio) • Bud Candy introduced • Big Bud planned for next feeding Week Summary: A very solid first week of flowering. The stretch started slightly delayed but is now progressing well. With the number of bud sites and the even canopy structure, the plant shows strong yield potential despite its compact size. Focus for FW2: Maximize light utilization, introduce PK boost (Big Bud), and stabilize bud development.

DE_BW This week showed a massive step forward in bud development. The plant stretched just enough to improve spacing, but overall stayed compact and well-structured. The canopy is now leveling out nicely, with multiple tops catching up and forming a very even surface. What stands out the most is the number of bud sites. Despite the plant’s relatively small size, it has developed an impressive amount of tops, all of which are already stacking early and showing strong potential. The structure is open enough to allow good light penetration, especially after some light defoliation to clean up the inner canopy. Bud formation is progressing quickly. The flowers are building density earlier than expected, with tight clusters forming along nearly every branch. The main colas are clearly defined, but the secondary sites are not far behind, which could lead to a very balanced yield across the plant. Leaves are healthy and vibrant, with a deep green tone. Slight adjustments in feeding have been made to support the transition fully into bloom, focusing more on phosphorus and potassium while reducing nitrogen. Overall, this plant is performing exceptionally well. The combination of compact size, high bud site count, and early stacking makes this one of the most promising runs so far. If development continues at this pace, the final result could be very impressive.

DE_BW The buds are starting to bulk up noticeably now, and overall development is progressing rapidly. A strong, sweet strawberry(?!) aroma has emerged, becoming more intense with each passing day. The plant looks very healthy overall, with great vigor and no visible issues.

DE_BW Flowering week 5 and the plant is transitioning into the Overdrive phase, with an estimated 8–9 days remaining until harvest. Buds are stacking quickly and showing a surprisingly strong sweet strawberry-like aroma that fills the room. From above, subtle purple hues are starting to appear, adding a nice visual touch to an already very healthy-looking plant.

DE_BW Flowering Week 6 The plant continues to progress steadily towards harvest. The buds are now heavily covered in trichomes, showing strong resin production. The aroma remains very intense with a clear strawberry note. I decided to add one more week of Overdrive to push the final phase a bit further. The plant was flushed yesterday using Flawless Finish. Harvest will take place once the pot has fully dried out. Overall, a very interesting plant — structurally a bit unusual, but the quality so far is definitely convincing.
