Growbody Welcome to my grow diary of the Glue Gelato Auto from Barney's Farm. The seeds were offered as automatic surprise seeds from Zamnesia's Tribe program. The 15-liter fabric pot from ROOTiES is back in action here. The new organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde is being used. And the Zamnesia Smart Start Plugs with Plagron's seedbooster plus have proven themselves. Day -2: The growing area has been thoroughly cleaned and sterilized, and the soil prepared. I'm paranoid about aphids. Day 0: The Smart Start Plugs were watered with 7 drops/liter of seedbooster plus enriched water for 5 minutes. I pierced the hole of the Smart Starts to the bottom with a small screwdriver and widened it at the top. This way, the seedling's root can find its way down more easily. Day 5: Hello World. Day 6: The seedling is lying in a small dip, so I can mound the seedling's root a bit more in a few days. It's really taking off. Nice that you're checking out my report. Feel free to come back again. 👋😎

Happy Harvest Day!

Such a shame, the Glue Gelato Auto from Barney's Farm developed foxtailing. At the beginning of the flowering stage, I had hoped that the stretching would come to an end, but nature had other plans for me. I found the reaction (or lack thereof) from Barney's Farm to my inquiry with pictures a bit disappointing: I was told to wait a week and then send new pictures directly to Zamnesia. I had chosen the seeds from Zamnesia's Tribe program as an automatic surprise seed from Barney's Farm. I specifically wanted to hear their opinion on the growth of my plant. On the other hand, the response from Zamnesia's support was much better, and I want to express my gratitude to Jessy from Zamnesia's Discord. He seriously thought about my plant and provided suggestions for improvement. In the end, he sent me a replacement unsolicited, even though the Glue Gelato Auto was temporarily out of stock as an automatic surprise seed in the Tribe program, and it took a few weeks for more seeds to become available. Thank you so much, Jessy; the world needs more people like you. A note at this point: Last week, I had to read on Discord that Jesse was let go. That affected me, and I regret it very much. What I can still say about the Glue Gelato Auto is that it was by far the strongest smelling flower I have grown so far. I could only smell the Glue Gelato Auto in my grow room. Most people could smell it throughout the whole house. Only when the giant was harvested and the 70 grams of wet-trimmed stems were drying in DryFerm Bags in the basement did the smell disappear from the grow room, but in the stairwell, the sweet glue could still be smelled for a week. We covered it up with some orange cleaner.

Growbody Welcome to the conclusion of my grow report on the Glue Gelato Auto from Barney's Farm. The seeds were offered as automatic surprise seeds from Zamnesia's Tribe Program. These are my first Gorillas, and this one is supposed to taste chocolatey, fruity, and berry-like, and I'm really looking forward to it 🍫 The 15-liter fabric pot from ROOTiES is back in action here. The new organic hemp soil from Sonnenerde is being used. And the Zamnesia Smart Start Plugs with Plagron's seedbooster plus have proven themselves. Day 80: The Glue Gelato Auto from Barney's Farm has been harvested. With its flower structure, it reminds me of Thai sticks from the 70s. Maybe it has some Thai in its genes. While trimming, the air in the grow room was thick. 70 grams of freshly trimmed stems are now drying in DryFerm Bags in the basement. The stairwell smells great. Glad you were with me on my grow. Feel free to check back, there's more to come 👋😎

@Growbody , You are right many Autos are small. But for example Finola, one of the first Auto strains (but low THC) can get very large under some circumstances, or the Stitch Super Autos. Maybe Autos are in general more unstable and some older genes might show up from time to time.

Growbody commented3mo ago
@GrowerBaal, Luckily, in the late 70s, seeds were often found in the weed I got from friends. After my first few harvests, I always had a coffee tin full of cannabis seeds and never gave much thought to the strains. There were often long breaks between grows. For the past two years, I've been growing autoflowering strains indoors and feminized strains outdoors in the summer

GrowerBaal commented3mo ago
@Growbody, Until legalization, names were just noise and smoke for me. On the black market, there was always just the "best." It only makes sense to me now with the strains. Isn't it usually the other way around, like autos outdoors and photos indoors? Last year I had a photo outside that only started to flower at the end of September... I started with autos indoors, but I'm slowly leaning more and more towards photos. This year I'll only be doing autos outdoors.
