ChubbyBudBros - Placed the seed in my 3D printed Cannacan germination box on 12/02/2026. Waiting for seed to pop now. 2 days later 14/02 and the seed has germinated. I moved the seed into a coco pellet starter and placed the starter in a germination box to sustain high humidity. It will stay there until it has sprouted. Another 2 days later and the germinated seed sprouted in the coco pellet, I did have to dig her out a bit as she was growing upside down in the pellet, but after a small operation she was fine! xD I moistened the coco in the 1.5 liter pot with 0.5 liters of water (5.8pH) with a small amount of nutrients in.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 1 Today is day 1 as the first small set of true leaves is there and doing it's thing. she seems to be doing pretty good. Day 2 I moved the seedling to another tent where I could turn up the humidity by quite a bit, but she seems to be doing great for now. Day 3 Seems like the higher humidity is doing it well seeing the first true leaves grow and the second set is already visible as well. I only don't like how the pot doesn't seem to be drying fast and I feel like the leaves show some signs of being drowned. Day 4 Here leaves seems a bit thing and long lmao. but doing good otherwise. I gave her a bit of water as I prepped a batch for my other seedling. Day 5 Nothing special to report. First set of leaves is still growing. Day 6 Growth still going good. Not much actions yet for the second set of true leaves. Day 7 Seems like that second set of leaves is starting to take off now!

ChubbyBudBros - Day 8 She seems a bit behind in development than my other seedling at the same day but she looks healthy! Day 9 She is slowly trucking along, growth is quite a bit less strong than my other plant in a bigger pot. her leaves are also hanging pretty hard, I think I might have given her a bit too much water before, gonna give her a good dry back now before I water again. Day 10 I moved her back into my bigger tent now, where the temps are a lot better (26-27°C), I think the colder tent 20-21°C wasn't doing it any good. Humidity however will be lower in this tent as I have a day 77 plant flowering in there. She does look stunted compared to my cosmos F1 that's next to her, but that might also be just because she's in a way smaller pot. Day 11 The move to the warmer tent definitely made her perk up again, she's looking better, still very small compared to the one in the bigger pot. Coco seemed very dry so I gave her about 100ml's of nutrient water. Day 12 Now that she is in the warmer tent I'm seeing the growth pickup again..lesson learned, gotta keep those temps higher from the start next time. Day 13 She's not taking off like a rocket, but she keeps looking healthy, i'm already happy with seeing the leaves just looking healthy for now. Very curious to see how she'll develop further. Day 14 Gonna hold of on giving her water for now, coco hasn't fully dried back yet and seems like she might be a bit droopy due to overwatering, so I'm gonna give her some time. Still seeing the leaves develop, she doesn't seem to be behind much on my Cosmos F1 in the bigger pot however.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 15 She is looking a bit droopy today and at this point I'm not sure if it's over watering or under watering in a pot this small 😅 Update: I did end up watering, with 600ml's. seems like only 200 ml's stayed in the pot however as 400ml's poured out of the bottom again. Day 16 Seems like she was thirsty indeed, the leaves perked back up today after saturating her pot. Day 17 Nothing special to report today. The pot is staying pretty moist, which should be ok in coco, curious to see if she will stay fine like this and not drown her roots. Day 18 She is very droopy again today. I gave her a good soak with 1 liter of water, slowly, so the coco had time to rehydrate properly. In 2 days I will probably start using the bottom reservoir, seems like she might need constant water access to not go droopy within 48 hours, due to her small pot. I also trimmed the upper fan leaves, giving those lower nodes directly light, see if I can get them to take off more. Day 19 So it was definitely her being thirsty again causing the drooping, after the good soak I gave her last night, she is looking great again today. I did notice that the roots in the reservoir below(which I'm not using yet) have just started going like crazy into the empty reservoir. Seeing how thirsty this girl is and how well the roots are developing, I'm 3D printing a bigger reservoir which I will be able to fill with a lot more water, keep the wicking cylinders above the water level, so they don't wick water up and allow the roots to just grow into the reservoir below, creating a makeshift hydro bucket x coco hybrid 😅. Day 20 So printed a new pot today for the reservoir, it can hold 1.5 liters now, beneath the wicking pillars of the bottom side of the pot containing the coco. This is gonna allow the roots to grow down into the res, without having to wick the water up, which will dry out the coco which is fine as it will basically be a hydro grow at that point. Day 21 She seems to be loving the reservoir! having some issues with the 3D printed res sadly, discovered it's leaking slowly from multiple places, I'm gonna have to figure something out to fix this.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 21 Seeing the first stigmas show up from the bracts today. Was able to fix the leaking reservoir, by placing a big freeze bag in the res and filling the water in the bag and it seems to work perfectly! Day 22 She was very droopy again today, the roots haven't really gotten down much into the reservoir below, so I've top watered her again today, hopefully the root zone will expand into the lower pot soon. Day 23 Her leaves are looking better again today. Do notice some yellowing on the lower leaves, probably because she needed more water. Day 24 She was quite droopy before lights off, but she perked up again, just scooped some water out of her reservoir and top watered her a bit that way. Roots are slowly growing into the res. Day 25 Topped up the reservoir and got pH back to 5.8. Used some of the res water and top watered her with it. Day 26 Pot was still very moist today, hoping that is the water from the reservoir finally wicking up now. Those lower leaves yellowed quite a bit, will increase grow a bit next time I change the res. Day 27 Changed her reservoir today and also top fed her as well first. Gave a stronger N feed this time to combat the yellowing leaves.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 28 Seeing pistils on this girl already on the flowering sites. I'm shocked with how tall she has gotten tbh for such a small pot! Day 29 Normally I would top water again today, but I see that the coco is still very moist, Probably due to the wicking from the reservoir is working properly now, also seeing more roots grow into the res. Day 30 I replenished her reservoir today and also gave her a flush with the nutrient water first. Increased the nutrient dosages now, seems like she needs it if I look at those bottom leaves. Day 31 - Day 32 - Day 33 Haven't touched the reservoir yet. Will give it one more day before I renew it. Did notice that more roots are finally in the water now. If they develop enough, I will try to lower the water level in the reservoir below the wicking tubes so that the coco can dry out and act more as a air intake zone for the plant and allow just roots in the res to feed her instead. Day 34 Flushed the pot a bit with nutrient water and replenished the reservoir, was shook by seeing how much roots have suddenly grown into the the reservoir!

ChubbyBudBros - Day 35 Checked the pH today, pretty stable at 5.9, gonna leave it like that. Roots are booming in the reservoir right now. Day 36 Starting to see the water in the reservoir properly drop now as enough rootmass has build up in the res. Also covered the top soil layer now with clay pebbles to prevent algae from growing on top. Day 37 Checked pH today, which was 6.0, seems like it stays very stable. Flowers are starting to develop nicely. Day 38 pH up to 6.1 today, will bring it back down to 5.8 tomorrow. Day 39 Redid the reservoir today, also flushed the coco with the same nutrient solution first, trying to prevent salt build up in the pot itself even though the roots in the reservoir itself are massive now, should probably take a pic of that. Day 40 Just checked pH today. Stayed stable at 5.9. Day 41 pH was 6.0 today, but a lot of water was out of the reservoir so I topped it back up with 5.7 pH'd water.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 42 Just a pH check today..6.1pH. Will pH back down tomorrow. Day 43 pH was 6.2+ so brought it back down to 5.8 today. Day 46 Renewed the reservoir today, also gave the coco a flush first with just some pH 5.8 water and calmag to flush out the salts. Day 48 Replinished the reservoir and pH'd water back to 5.8.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 49 Just pH'd the reservoir back down to 5.8 today from 6.2. Day 50 topped up the reservoir and added some more growth nutrients, seems like she needs it. Day 54 Just been keeping the reservoir topped up the past few days. The buds are bulking up well right now. She is yellowing a lot with her lower leafs but she doesn't have many fan leaves so I guess that's to be expected.

Day 62 Just been taking it easy with this girl, topping up her reservoir and pH'ing the water daily, doing a res change once a week. the top bud is maturing nicely, the lower buds however are quite a bit behind. Gonna have to check trichomes soon.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 63 She is doing pretty ok, bit of nutrient burn and more leaf's are starting to fade now. Took the first trichome pics as well, but still a lot of clear ones! Day 66 She is pretty easy to take care of right now compared to my other plants. Just keep topping up the reservoir and ph'ing the water. Her smell is amazing right now. Day 68 Checked out the trichomes today but still seeing a lot of clear for now.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 70 Renewed the reservoir today, but will start to flush now, no nutrients, just pH'd the reservoir to 5.8. and flushed the coco in the pot as well. Day 71 Just topped up the reservoir today with plain water and brought pH back down to 5.8. Day 76 Just been topping up the reservoir with plain pH'd water the past few days. Checked trichomes today and I think we're a week max out from harvest.

ChubbyBudBros Royal CBDV in a 1,5 liter 3D printed pot harvested on day 81! The pot was meant to wick up water from the reservoir below trough the wicking tubes, but the roots were so greedy they just grew into the res, and it kinda became a hydro setup 😂
