Die Mädels stehen jetzt bei ungefähr ~30 cm, wurden einmal getoppt und werden per LST langsam in die Horizontale überredet. Man merkt richtig, wie die Struktur sich verändert: weniger “ein Hauptturm”, mehr “kleine Skyline”. Genau das Ziel – denn diesmal gibt’s kein Scrog, sondern klassisch: Topping + LST + später ein paar Entlaubungsrunden, damit am Ende nicht nur oben Party ist. Klima & Licht – “Wohlfühlmodus” Aktuell läuft alles im soliden Wohlfühlbereich: 18 Stunden Licht, tagsüber ~26°C, nachts ~19°C, und die Luftfeuchte liegt bei ca. ~67%. Die Lampe läuft auf 300W, dazu die 55W Blue Adlites, und am Blätterdach kommen etwa 500–600 PPFD an. Kurz gesagt: hell genug, aber noch nicht “Wüsten-Sonne auf Alufolie”. Nährlösung / System – “läuft, aber nicht jede spielt gleich” Im RDWC zeigen die Wurzeln ein sehr beruhigendes Bild: weiß bis hellbeige, insgesamt sauber und aktiv. pH bewegt sich im Bereich 5.8 bis 6.2 (driftend), und der EC liegt derzeit bei ~1.0–1.1. Spannend ist: Obwohl alle in der gleichen Lösung hängen, sind sie nicht komplett synchron. Eine Lady wirkt minimal zickiger, zwei zeigen nur ganz leichte Auffälligkeiten, und eine ist einfach komplett “Gym & Greens” und tut so, als gäbe es keine Probleme auf dieser Welt. Klassiker bei Klonen: gleiche Suppe, aber unterschiedliche Persönlichkeiten. Dünger – zurück zum bewährten Setup Wie beim letzten Run läuft auch hier wieder die Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Serie. Das passt gut zum “ich will’s stabil und entspannt”-Ansatz: Setup gleich gehalten, damit man Veränderungen am Wachstum besser einordnen kann – und Gelato bekommt die Bühne, nicht die Experimentierkiste. If this week were a movie, it would probably be titled *"Edward Scissorhands: Hydro Edition."* Things got radical, technical, and yes, it got a little naked in here. 🏋️‍♂️ Training & Torture (LST) This week, I decided to really show the ladies who's boss (or rather, where the clip is). **Radical Defoliation:** I set sail—outdoors. Anything stealing light from the lower shoots had to go. **LST Clips:** To achieve an even canopy, the colorful LST clips came into play. The plants are now all trimmed to a "uniform size" of about **40 cm**. **Status:** They look a bit rough after their haircut, but we know how it goes: A few days of rest, and they'll come back stronger than ever. Lab Stats (RDWC Action) My RDWC system is running like a Swiss watch. I gave the ladies 3 to 4 days of silence to recover from their haircut, and then I flipped the switch to 12/12. Since then? Total madness. 📈 The Stretch is Real We are technically about 10 days into the flowering cycle, and the plants have literally exploded. Canopy Coverage: Remember those gaps from last week? Neither do I. The plants have filled every square centimeter of the tent, creating a dense, lush sea of green. Vertical Growth: The vigor in this RDWC system is insane. After the recovery phase, they transitioned into the flowering stretch with so much energy it’s almost scary. LST Success: All that bending and clipping paid off. Even though they’ve exploded, the canopy is staying remarkably level, which is exactly what we wanted for the upcoming bud production. Reservoir & Environment With this much leaf mass, the girls are transpiring like crazy and drinking heavily. I'm keeping a close eye on the parameters to make sure they have everything they need for this transition. EC: Holding steady at 1.4 - 1.5. They are hungry, but I’m avoiding overfeeding during this crucial stretch. pH: Staying in that sweet spot of 5.8 - 6.2. Airflow: I’ve dialed up the fans. With a canopy this thick, internal airflow is now my #1 priority to keep humidity pockets from forming.
