Blue Berry Auto Huismerk from wietzaadjes.nl It's being grown in a space bucket, seems to go very well. Germinated with paper towel method. Using Plagron Growmix soil. Should be fertilized for 3 to 4 weeks. Watered the soil with PH adjusted water until runoff before putting the germinated seed inside. Runoff pH is a little on the low side though. Put a humidity dome above seed until it looked the way it did on day 2.

Soil stays humid really long. But I completely soaked the pot before I planted the seed. Now I've read that it's not a good to idea to do with autoflowers. It's weird to wait so long before I have to water it. But Ms. Plant still seems to be growing at a decent rate. Day 11 - First stipules :) Day 12 - It smells! Just a tiny bit right above the plant, but it's there. Incredible, I thought plants only smelled during flower. I'm waiting on the leaves to curl before I'll water it, I think it's starting, but I'm not sure. I'll wait another day just to be sure. Day 13 - Leaves started drooping, especially new ones, so I watered today. About 2L ph adjusted water. Around the plant the entire pot until there was some runoff. Left the runoff in the tray in the bucket and after an hour or so it was gone (evaporated or absorbed back into the pot I don't know) During the entire week I have been slowly ramping up the PPFD from 300 (max for seedlings) to 600 (max for vegetative growth). I use a €20 lux meter from amazon to measure the light and then I use an online converter to see the PPFD. For a lot of the grow I'm using this guide http://fluence.science/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/High-PPFD-Cultivation-Guide-9.27.16.pdf

Day 15 - So, first day of week 3 and I started LST. I was actually thinking of maybe topping or fimming it, but most people didn't recommend it for beginners. I also spotted the first pistils today. Someone told me it might go into flower in a week, so I decided against it. Instead I did the first LST. And damn it was stressful!!! I never really touched my plant up until now. It was my baby, seeing it grow so perfectly and evenly was entrancing. It was much more difficult than I anticipated. I had limited space inside the space bucket, also limited space to get my hands in there through my door. Then pulling on my little plant was really difficult. I think I even heard a small crack at some point, but I didn't spot any visible damage. Eventually I succeeded and I think I did good. Day 16 - Tightened the garden wire a bit. I don't think it needs to go much further? I'll wait now for it to grow a bit so I can put the wire between the next nodes, and pull the new growth down as well. It looks like it's still pushing out a lot of green. Faster every day. Day 17 - Moved the LST a node higher with a new system: a bit of electrical wire to touch the plant which is tied with a small cotton rope with a knot I can tighten. Easier. Day 18 - A new branch looks stunted. Some weird holes, brown spots and weird edges of the leafs. I wonder about the cause. Temps went up to 27°C, could be that... In any case I wonder more what to do about it. Cut it since it will always be stunted? Day 19 - Temps went up to 29°C today, can't help it since it's the room temperature and I don't have active air cooling at home. Due to the stunted branch I removed the LST in hopes of stressing it somewhat less, as recommended by a redditor. Day 20 - New growth on stunted branch seems fine for the moment, not going to change anything. Think I must have damaged it during accidental rough handling while setting up the LST. My new technique with the rope allows me to be much more gentle. I also drilled some more holes in the pot so the soil will dry faster. Day 21 - Watered 1L pH adjusted water. I did 2L last time but my soil stayed dry for too long. 6 days! Hope it will dry out faster now with less water. There was some runoff but not much. Also moved the LST a node higher. Lots of pistils showing, hope it's not entering flower yet.

Day 22 - Put LST on almost every branch that seemed mature enough to be able to handle it. Since it's already entering flower (I think), I want to be quick about it. I hope I didn't stress her too much because it's quite a lot. Guess we'll see in week 4 :) Also did some leaf tucking to try to expose the up and coming bud-sites. Day 23 - LST'd it even more Day 24 - Watered 1L. Cut off one fan leaf that was throwing shade at a small branch. Day 25 - Cut off 3 more bastards Day 26 - Everyday I'm tightening Day 27 - Still tightening LST every day. Slow growth this week imo. Eagerly awaiting the long-promised stretch. Day 28 - Growth seems to have stopped in its tracks... Don't know what I'm doing wrong? : /

Timer was behaving weird so I removed it and put her on 24-0 light schedule. Some lower fan leaves started yellowing. Removed them and some others that were blocking lower budsites. Watered it and it perked up so much. This time I waited on leaf drooping.

@Vanalle, I have carbon exhaust set up so I didn't smell her unless I opened my tent and even then it was very minimal, great strain for being discreet as far as smell goes.

@Mr_Weeds_Autos, Thanks man, hope to get a similar harvest! I stunted my first seedling and wasted quite some time not watching it grow. I will check out your diary :) How was the smell during the grow? I've read it's really minimal with Northern Lights.

@Lovemabud,Thanks man! Haven't added any nutes so far, really liking this Plagron soil. Should I start next week since then the soil should've run out of nutes or should I wait until the first signs of deficiencies? I'm eagerly awaiting the stretch, I feel like it hasn't grown very much this week.

Looking good. I guess a grow isn't a grow without a few issues....working around the issues without detrimental impact on the plants health is what counts and looks like u succeeded. Those damn timers!!! I had the opposite of your issues recently...overloaded my circuit and the safety switch jumped turning all lights off. When I realised I flicked her back on..alas 16 hours later pushing my plant into extended darkness...dohhhhh.
