HeizraumGrower Welcome to my Micro Grow Diary!
Since legalization in Germany, growing has become a true passion. For me, it’s all about experimenting with technology, nutrients, and environmental conditions rather than focusing on high yields. This run is dedicated to the art of micro-growing.
The Setup:
Substrate: 6L Plagron Pro Mix with a 20% Perlite mix and a Biobizz Lightmix "nest" for the seedling.
Germination: She popped her head out just 72 hours after dropping the seed.
The Strategy: Inspired by the SOG (Sea of Green) technique usually used for clones, I will be flipping this plant to 12/12 very early to keep her compact. My goal is to maintain 4–6 main colas using early topping and some LST to ensure an even canopy height.
Nutrients: 100% mineral feeding using the Plagron Terra line.
Given this strain can reach 300cm, I'm fully aware of the stretch potential and hope my plan to keep it low works out. Once I flip to 12/12, I'll be pulling out all the stops regarding VPD, nutrient ratios, and day/night temperature swings to minimize vertical growth, though my experience with micro grows shows that the timing of the flip remains the most critical factor.
I'm happy to hear any comments, tips, suggestions, or experiences you'd like to share. More to come...

HeizraumGrower The seedling is developing well, even though it looks a little pale at the moment. I have watered it very sparingly and added only a tiny amount of Terra Grow. I recently lowered the humidity to 65%
Regarding temperatures, I intentionally allowed them to fluctuate and occasionally heated the room.
The light is now set to 40% intensity and is located 30 cm away from the canopy.

HeizraumGrower High Folk! The plant developed very well throughout the second week. I watered twice without any runoff. The first feed was at an EC of 1.0 (pH 5.9), and for the second watering, I increased the nutrients to an EC of 1.7 (pH 5.9) using Plagron Terra Grow. Daily water consumption has now surpassed 300ml.
Environmentally, I am continuously lowering the relative humidity to steadily increase the VPD. The light intensity was gradually stepped up to 60% at a fixed distance of 30cm, which delivers around 384 PPFD and a DLI of 16.6.
Next steps: I plan to top the plant very soon. After a short recovery phase, I will flip the light schedule to 12/12 to initiate flowering as early as possible.

HeizraumGrower The grow is going exactly as planned so far, and the plant was topped on day 16. To minimize stress from the procedure and boost recovery, I bumped up the relative humidity, dropping the VPD for 24 hours. At the same time, I slightly dialed back the light intensity for this short recovery phase.
I watered twice this week with one liter of nutrient solution each time. The first feed was at an EC of 1.8, and for the second one, I lowered it a little to an EC of 1.4.
Right after the short recovery phase, I applied some LST to pull the final 4 main shoots outwards. By the end of the week, the light intensity was increased again and is now sitting at 75% (around 450–500 PPFD). The plant is now ready for a very early flip to the 12/12 light schedule.

HeizraumGrower At the beginning of week 4, the Wedding Cheesecake was flipped to a 12/12 light cycle, to which it responded with the first fine white hairs by the last day of the week. Water consumption has increased to approximately 500 ml per day. Nutrients were supplied in two doses: initially with an EC value of 1.7, and in the middle of the week with an EC of 1.4, which was the first time flowering fertilizer was used.
Training focused on aligning the four main shoots using LST. The lighting is now at 70% - 75% (approx. 450-500 PPFD). In terms of climate control, the exhaust fan has been running continuously on a low setting for several days now, with an external dehumidifier stabilizing the climate in the room where the tent is located. The VPD value is now being continuously increased. The stretch will be the exciting topic in week 5.

HeizraumGrower Week 5 is officially in the books, and it was an intensive one. I watered three times, including the very first time with run-off since the start of the grow to ensure a healthy root zone. The nutrient solution was mostly kept at an EC of 1.7 and a pH of 6.0, with the final watering of the week pushed to an EC of 1.8. The plant's thirst has increased significantly, with water consumption now reaching 700ml to 800ml per day.
The plant showed incredible vigor and branching, requiring quite a bit of effort to manage. I had to be fairly firm with pruning and removing numerous side shoots. While this caused some temporary stress and a slight delay in the flowering progress, it was necessary to prepare her for the next stage. The stretch has now begun, and she is stretching upwards day by day. Clear signs of pre-flowering are visible.
The light intensity has been moved up to 90%, providing roughly 500-600 PPFD.

HeizraumGrower Week 6 is wrapped up and the plant is showing great vitality. Although the light intensity has stayed nearly the same, water consumption has increased massively and is now over 1.3 liters per day. I watered three times in total. I reduced the pH of the nutrient solution from 5.9 to 5.8 with an EC of 1.8 to counteract the slightly higher runoff pH of 6.3 and keep the medium stable.
The Wedding Cheesecake is now in full stretch and is growing about 2 cm taller every day. She currently stands at just over 30 cm from the soil level. Flowering has progressed significantly and white hairs are visible everywhere.
Since the plant is now growing as close as 20 cm to the lamp, the PPFD value at 90 percent power is currently between 600 and 700.
It is starting to get very crowded in the tent as the foliage is quite expansive and already touching the walls. To avoid stressing the plant unnecessarily during the stretch, I have only selectively removed small side shoots to ensure energy is directed to the main buds. A more thorough thinning to optimize air circulation is planned once the stretch is over.
Despite the strong growth, there is still plenty of vertical room in the tent. I am very curious to see the final height.

HeizraumGrower Week 7 is complete and development is going exactly according to plan. The plant is now in full bloom and is developing clearly visible white hairs everywhere. The stretch seems to have finished by the end of this week. The Wedding Cheesecake has reached a final height of about 36 cm, which confirms this and puts it exactly within the desired target range.
I watered a total of three times this week. The plant's thirst remains high and is consistently over one liter per day. For the nutrient solution, I have stayed with an EC of 1.8 and a pH of 5.8, which the plant is handling very well.
Light intensity was kept at 90 percent this week (600 to 700 PPFD). Since the stretch is likely over now, the intensity will soon be increased to 100 percent. Everything is running smoothly so far and I am very satisfied with the progress.

HeizraumGrower Week 8 is now complete and I could not be more satisfied with the progress. Everything is running perfectly according to plan. As suspected, the stretch finally ended last week and the Wedding Cheesecake has reached its final height. This makes handling inside the tent much more relaxed after a generous defoliation.
Since the plant has stopped its vertical expansion, I have increased the LED lighting to 100%. At a constant distance of 20 cm from the canopy, we are now hitting a solid 750 PPFD. The plant is handling the full intensity excellently so far.
I watered several times this week, and water consumption remains stable at over one liter per day even after the defoliation. Now that the stretch is over and the plant structure is established, there is very little to do except be patient and enjoy the show.
The most exciting weeks of the flowering phase are ahead of us, and I am looking forward to seeing the buds gain mass and resin. In the next few days, the plant will also receive a bloom booster (Green Sensation) for the first time, and the EC value will be pushed above 2.0.

HeizraumGrower Flower week 3:
This week the plant received the Green Sensation bloom booster for the first time. The initial feeding was done with a strong EC value of 2.0.
Regarding watering: Since a volume of over 2 liters already produces runoff and daily consumption is around one liter, I am generally watering every two days.
The condition of the plant remains excellent and she shows great vitality. Everything is running perfectly and I am looking forward to the coming weeks as the buds continue to develop.

HeizraumGrower The fourth week of flowering was relatively unspectacular with water consumption remaining consistent. However, I noticed some leaf damage on one particular shoot. While the symptoms look similar to a calmag deficiency, they are likely caused by salt accumulation in the medium.
Despite regular watering with runoff, some salts appear to have built up over time. To address this, I performed a heavy flush to clear the medium and stabilize the root zone. This should bring the situation under control. The rest of the plant remains healthy and the issue seems to be contained for now.
