DE_BW Strong and fast start in a 15L fabric pot with a 70/30 Light Mix–perlite blend, showing vigorous early root development and tight internodal spacing. Seedling looks healthy, compact, and responsive to the current light setup with no signs of stress.

DE_BW Week 2: Very strong development with a sturdy stem, rich green foliage, and clean node formation; the early FIM was handled well and apical dominance is visibly breaking. The plant shows zero signs of stress and is taking full advantage of the 15L high-perlite substrate for fast, compact growth. Overall, an above-average start with excellent potential for aggressive horizontal expansion in the coming weeks.

DE_BW Recovered very well after the FIM and responded with strong new growth. LST has begun, and she’s already showing early signs of preflower. 🌱

DE_BW The plant is entering early stretch and responding very well to the training, with strong side branches developing across the canopy. LST is mostly finished now; from here I’ll focus on light defoliation to expose bud sites and keep the structure even.

DE_BW Week 5 of veg: the structure is really coming together, with strong lateral growth and a thick main stem already forming multiple future colas. Did a bit of selective defoliation to open up the canopy and let the lower branches catch up — the plant bounced back immediately and looks extremely vigorous.

DE_BW Strong development over the past week, with clear vertical growth and well-defined tops forming. This should be the final week of vegetative growth before she fully transitions into flowering.

DE_BW Week 1 of flowering and she’s turning into an extremely bushy plant with a massive number of bud sites. Switched to bloom nutrients and started guiding her into the generative phase. Did a light lollipopping and defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration across the canopy.

DE_BW Week 2 of flowering was a major turning point, with the plant stretching heavily while developing a very bushy structure and a large number of bud sites. I performed supercropping on the tallest tops to control height and create an even canopy, along with a heavier defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow. She responded extremely well, showing strong recovery, high water demand, and continued vigorous growth. Bud formation is still in the early pistil stage, but the structure suggests a high-yielding plant with many evenly developed colas.

DE_BW The plant is developing an impressive number of bud sites and has responded very well to another round of supercropping. After a final defoliation, she now stands at around 70 cm with an open structure and improved light penetration. Stretch is nearing its end, setting her up perfectly to start stacking buds over the coming weeks.

DE_BW Week 4 of flowering and the plant is still building structure rather than real bulk — bud development looks a bit underwhelming so far, except for the main cola where Gorilla genetics are starting to show. The plant remains extremely healthy with a massive number of bud sites across the canopy. Planning a more aggressive defoliation this week to improve light penetration and prepare for proper bud stacking in the coming weeks.

DE_BW Week 5 of flowering is now complete, and the buds are finally starting to look like real buds. Frost production is picking up noticeably, and the plant is beginning to show its full potential. I did a solid defoliation this week to open up the canopy and improve light penetration. From here on, it’s mostly a waiting game while the buds continue stacking and filling out

DE_BW Week 6 of flowering: resin production is getting heavy and the plant is frosting up nicely. Buds are still somewhat underdeveloped in size, but there are a lot of them across the canopy. No more training or adjustments this week — from here on it’s just feeding properly and letting her finish.

DE_BW Week 7 is now underway and the plant has officially been switched to Overdrive for the final ripening phase. The buds still refuse to fully stack and stay relatively airy, but the plant looks very mature and heavily frosted overall. Harvest is expected in around 10 days if the trichomes keep progressing at the current pace.
Overall review / smoke report: this strain was extremely easy to train and responded very well to LST and supercropping. The plant branched aggressively and showed huge yield potential very early on, but it definitely required multiple interventions to control the stretch if vertical space is limited. It produced an impressive amount of resinous buds that stayed relatively slim in shape, yet turned out surprisingly dense and high quality overall.
The terpene profile is earthy and woody both in smell and taste, with a classic old-school character rather than a fruity profile. The effect is clearly indica-leaning with a very pleasant body high and strong relaxation, but without turning into a heavy couchlock strain. Overall, a very productive and vigorous plant with excellent resin production and a surprisingly high final yield despite the unusual bud structure.

DE_BW Final week before harvest: after the flush, the plant showed a very nice fade and reached a good level of maturity. Once the pot dried out completely, the plant was harvested and hung whole to achieve a slower and more controlled dry. Despite the relatively slim bud structure, the final yield turned out far higher than expected thanks to the massive amount of dense, resinous bud sites across the entire plant.
