Grimgrows Seeds sprouted well in 4-5 days of direct planting. The bed is 175 litres of ecolife living soil with a barley straw mulch. Seeds where planted into a pocket of a litre or 2 of biobizz lightmix incase this soil is too hot for fresh sprouts. Never used this soil before. It claims to be water only but I will amend with a top dress going into flower. New soil, new strains and new ai controller, looking forward to this dialed back and hopefully relaxed run. Soil 25-34% moisture (Ac infinity soil sensor 8inch depth) 18°c-20°c night and 23-24.5°c day temp. Vpd set to around 0.7 kpa. (Cloudforge 4 humidifier) 18 hours of light, 250ppfd DLI 14 ish (just using a phone app so maybe not too reliable)

Grimgrows Cheese is on the left and gorilla zkittlez on the right. Parameters stable and same since last entry. The plants have had 2 litres of plain water since germination and soil moisture is staying stable at 33%. Mulch and cover crop working well. Barley is vigorous so I chop regularly. I run a preventative IPM routine alternating spraying essential oils in solution (rosemary, tyme and lavander) and have applied diatomaceous earth to soil after spotting a couple fungus gnats on my yellow sticky trap. None since. I will dial back humidity a little tonight stick around 0.8 KPH. And lower lights to get my DHLI to around 20. All in all this growing style has been super low maintenance and everything seems well.

Grimgrows Well these plants are starting to transition and look well. Gave them a top dress with ecothrive bloom at 25 g around each plant then watered in with 4ml/liter of biobizz bio heaven at lights off, mix it with damp soil first to avoid dust flying all over then scratch in to the surface around root zone. Soil moisture has remained around 30% and apart from topping up the humidifier and adjusting things to raise the vpd closer to 1 and dli to 20 I haven't done much. Over the coming week I will increase the light to around 35 little by little. Pruning wise every two days or so I have chopped the barley and the girls have had ther lowes node and some low fan leaves removed. Topped up the mulch a little and sowed some Alyssum white snow. Very low maintenance grow so far have watered 3 times due to soil volume and no pests so far, long may that continue. Will up my watering to 5% of soil volume over 2 to 3 waterings per week achieving 40% moisture content. This will help keep deeper soil moist and aid in the stretch. Mostly plain tap water left to off gas

Grimgrows A productive week for the plants and plenty water in pulses to keep that sensor 26-34%water moisture at 8 inches depth in the ac infinity sensor. I upped the top dress of ecothrive bloom, I figured it was still Conservative at 125g across the whole bed with 5 cups worm castings. That was watered in with 5 litres of bio bizz amended water. Just some bioheaven, activera and a little grow to kick start the micros digesting that food. Dli is 30 at present to encourage stretching so ive more to work with in the trelis. I've also dropped the pH of waterings around plant neutral and dosed with an aerated tea (1 hour) of great white shark mycos. All is well with the plants. They're praying nicely and all growth looks grand.

Grimgrows Week 5 brings rapid, even growth across 20 or so tops, with the Auto Cheese developing a strong aroma and the Gorilla Zkittlez displaying a unique minty scent. To address some yellow tips on the Gorilla, the environment is being dialed back with a 19.5/4.5 light cycle achieving around 30 dli and a switch to Irish Peat Moss tea for more stable pH, aiming for consistent stacking. Watering 2-3 liters every two days and a deep 8-10 water pluse every week or so. I tend to do the deep water over 48 hours. Water is delivered with a pump sprayer unless I'm dosing with mycos (great white shark) All in all very happy with this grow so far, its a great style compared to my usual 25L pots and endless nutrient mixing with a daily or twice daily waterings at this stage, alot more relaxed way to go.

Grimgrows Plants are well, just some yellow tips on the Gorilla Zkittlez. I think my soil is slightly to hot but the girls are managing it and growing well. Ive just been watering dechlorinated tap water that ive soaked peat in to create Blackwater. The peat moss takes the tap water ph from 7.5 to 6.8 and is more stable than ph adjusting with citric acid.

Grimgrows Steady away here. Plants are bulking well. Still seeing some signs the soil is a wee bit too hot but growth and development doesn't seem to be affected negatively. Cheese definitely not as finicky as the gorilla Z. Probably going to run some high feeding regulars next run to eat up these nutrients, blue cheese, green crack or amnesia haze probably. All parameters and watering schedual has remained the same apart from a little drop in temp and raise in vpd (23.5 day temp and 1.2 vpd. Will keep raising vpd as we progress. Smells bloody lovey when you get a go at the leaves, every few days or so I defoliate a little to improve air flow and light penetrative.

Grimgrows Girls have been filling out nicely this week. No changes really apart from vpd is now 1.3-1.4 and watering has been increased slightly. We are now on 5 L every other day and 10-15 L on a weekend for the deep watering. Today l.5 L of which contained a dash of bio heaven and some white shark mycos (about a gram). Both girls smell amazing and I'm really excited to see how they progress into their final weeks.

Grimgrows Enjoyed this week in the grow, increasing dry backs to 24%, lowering air temp, adding airflow with an oscillating fan above canopy as well as bellow and decreasing humidity to 45% for the finish. I reckon these girls have another couple weeks in them at least but they're are a joy to smell and watch fill out. Watering routine is similar with 6.8 ph peat black water just allowing that extra 2-4% dryback on the soil sensor as a trigger to check things and give a top up if necessary before the weekly deep soak of around 10 liters. The top up waterings are 3-5l administered with pump sprayer for aeration. As you can see the gorilla Z is a little beat up and sensitive to the rich living soil we have here but the results look good and you can't please them all in a mixed bed. I inoculated with white shark and a dash of biobizz bio heaven this week after a chop and drop of the barley ground cover. Next step is get the environment dialed in for the drying tent. I'm just waiting for a controller to regulate the inline fan and humidifier, this fan will dump into the main tent and be filtered by that carbon filter again, double filtration before venting out and through a chimney. Love any improvements to the dope cave, it's my happy place.

Grimgrows A couple days early on the update but I'm off to Spain for 420 celebrations in the morning. The girls are doing well, still filling out abit, tricomes maturing and smell getting lovley. While I'm away I have a 80 liter resevoir with my peat black water in attached to an 8 emitter drip system. I'm controlling the system with a tapo smart plug using soil sensor as an indication of when to water. The dehumidifier had been hooked up to a 20 liter bucket so that should see me through for the 5 days I'm away. Looking at the girls this evening I think they should be getting really close by the time I'm back so maybe it'll be harvest shots next entry. I'm exited to try out my new dedicated dry tent from spiderfarmer. Happy early 420 folks have a good'n 🙏

Grimgrows So here we are back from 420 celebrations leaving the plants for a week at this stage was abit of a worry but my driper and soil sensor system worked out great. I'm glad to report I returned to nice happy plants and well watered soil. The gorrila z is fading nicely and the cheese is starting to fade out slightly aswell. Mostly cloudy trichomes on these two another few days and I think we are golden. I'm on a strict low humidity schedual for the last few days or so and I've removed my trelis to help harvesting. I use the bungee type with large squares to help me out here. As well as low humidity the airflow is increased with oscillating fans above and bellow canopy turned up and ac infinity inline fan on a pretty steady 40-50%. Vpd sticking around 1.3-1.4 at a slightly lower air temp of 20-22°c. Lights are raised also so I have a lower ppfd to finish out. As I return my soil sensor is at 30% to I will not water again till harvest the high vpd and soil dryback will hopefully stear the plant towards a last resin push. Then once we harvest the cover crop is copped and droped, some ecothrive regen and worm castings are added then sow the new cover crop, cover it in mulch then water with white shark mycos and let cook for 2 week awaiting the next run of @Fast_Buds genetics. At the moment I'm thinking auto grapefruit and auto strawberry gorilla, maybe a third? Any suggestions would be great, maybe something with some old-school funk. Happy growing and thanks for reading 🙏

Great strain, coped with the hot soil and produced beautifully. Really strong cheesy wotsit smell and taste to this with a sort of off fruit undertone. Funky as fuck and so frosty it's a shame this is an auto or I'd of reveged for a cut.

Grimgrows Looks a beast I minimise handling and hang whole mius a few larger fan leaves so no wet weight but she's got lovley big colas full of frost with a pungent cheesy aroma. Great plant all in all. An early tester I tried smoked great so looking forward to the slow dried version from my dry tent. Parameters are good in ther at 19°c with the humidity set to 55% for the first two days then I up to 60% for the remaining 10 days or so. Then we cure in jars, burping regularly till a stable 62% is reached and then into heat sealed grove bags. I'll check in with the final report after the cure. Almost exactly 11 weeks from seed. Thanks for reading 🙏

Grimgrows I took them both down at the same rime as they both gad trichomes where I like them. They got the same treatment and I look forward to sharing my final thoughts on the yeild and smoke ones all is dried and cured. Thanks for reading 🙏
