dr_doofenshmirz they are coming along really well. the first ones pot fell over and I had to search and repot the little seedling, now the growth is a little stunted but she will recover. the second one looks a bit nitrogen deficient, I gave some amendments for that. nr 4 is the biggest so far but stretched a bit too high and fell over, so I fixated her with wire. I also mulched for the first time.

dr_doofenshmirz They are all looking good. Nr 1 pretty much recovered. I started to lst on nr 2 and 4 and tried to tuck the new infloresences over the bigger fan leaves on all of them. Also watered for the last time before starting the autopots in a few days. For the growing fungus gnat population i put in some sf nematodes and added a few more sticky traps.

dr_doofenshmirz I continued last week with lst and leaf tucking, i also defoliated a bit more. Nr 1 and 2 are smaller and i tried to do the lst on them like on nr4, hopefully they’ll look like nr4 in a week or so. Nr 3 is only leaf tucking and taking away the top fan leafs, no lst done. So far they are all looking pretty healthy, the living soil / only water method seems to work out pretty good.

dr_doofenshmirz Since ive last updated the diary about 10 days ago the plants grew good. Sadly not as much as i wouldve hoped, but they still are coming along well. Nr 1 and 2 are smaller, i think the issue was the initial stress. I put nr 1 through too much by throwing the pot over. Nr 2 had some problem in the beginning with nutrients and i accidentally ripped a leaf off early on, but now he leaves are slowly getting darker becoming the vital green i like. Couldve also just been a different colored pheno or this pheno didnt absorb nitrogen as well as the others or something else i cant figure out. Nr 3 is just doing great, not much color so far but the stems of the fan leaves are slowly getting darker too just like on nr4. Nr 4 is also doing really good and starts to become real dark purple. Also the tallest of them four. On 1,2,4 i tried to do the lst the same way but nr4 just wanted to stretch and i didnt bother. Now i tried to lst them a little bit more outwards. Nr 3 is just some leaf tucking , defoliation and minimal stess and it shows i think. I also learned that autoflowers are just not ideal for my setup, i want to control the veg and dont let them flower on me so fast. Part of the problem is the slower start that comes with using livingsoil compared to other methods and not beeing able to water perfectly until the plants are big enough to start the autopot. For the next runs im going to use some proper photoperiodic seeds, to really see the full potential of this setup. But for now im really excited to see how these ladies turn out. 29.03.26 - 44 days since seed in soil, flower day 7-12

dr_doofenshmirz This week ends with a little more defoliation, lst and supercropping. For nr 1 and 2 I would be surprised if one of them yields more than 30g. They are staying small. Nr 1 is healthy, but something is definitely wrong with nr 2. Nr 3 is doing great. Nr 4 is doing good too, that one side growth just wanted to grow to the top. No colors on 1,2 and 3 so far. They all start to smell. Every pheno smells a little different but i the smells i can make out are fruity, sweet, gassy with something creamy vanilla like. Lights at maximum now. With the extra lights i am at about 300w. Vpd is around 1-1,2 lights on; 0,8-0,9 lights off.

dr_doofenshmirz That week i did some supercropping on nr 4 and watered them all with BTIs to really get rid of all the gnats. Also did some more defoliation from now on i just let them grow, maybe one more defoliation before they are done.

dr_doofenshmirz The buds are growing beautifully. I didnt see any gnats after giving the BTIs.
