Cosmos F1 by RQS in coco

ChubbyBudBros - Day 1 Today will be day 1 as the first baby true leaves are there. they do still seem a bit stuck to the cotyledon leaves so I sprayed her with some water and put a humidity dome over her to help those leaves get a bit more going. Day 2 I moved the seedling to another tent where I could turn up the humidity by quite a bit, that and the humidity dome seemed to have helped the leaves as it looks a lot better now. Day 3 The first set of true leaves remain pretty bend for some reason, hopefully that doesn't matter much. The second set of true leaves are already showing up. Day 4 Those first set of leaves are growing nicely. Decided to give her about 100ml's of water as the top layers of coco were fully dry. Day 5 First set of leaves are growing nicely so far. Day 6 Still showing healthy growth, the second set of true leaves seem to be starting to take off now. Day 7 She is showing strong growth so far! Second set of leaves is developing nicely.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 8 She is looking healthy, the second set of leaves are really taking off now. Day 9 Growth still going nicely. the coco was pretty dry today so decided to giver her 300 ml's of water, poured it in a circle around her, a bit away from the stem. Noticed that the light (370ppfd) might've been a bit too strong and some of the edge leaves were pointing up(light stress?) so I reduced ppfd back 300. Day 10 I moved her back into my bigger tent now, where the temps are a lot better (26-27°C), I think the colder tent 20-21°C wasn't doing it any good. Humidity however will be lower in this tent as I have a day 77 plant flowering in there. Day 11 Those second set of leaves are growing nicely and the third set are starting to show up now. she's showing a bit of curled up leaves, think the light had been a bit too strong before in the previous tent, but she seems to be doing better now in this warmer (but drier) tent. Coco was dry again after 2 days since I watered so I gave her a fresh batch of 400ml's nutrient water. Day 12 Had hoped she would've been a bit further a long by now, but I guess the colder temps in the previous tent slowed it down quite a bit. She is thriving now however. Day 13 She is definitely suffering a bit from the low RH and the high PPFD, but not much I can do about that right now sadly. But she seems to be trucking along and hopefully she will grow into the higher PPFD as she gets bigger.3 Day 14 Coco was very dry again today so I topped her up with 600ml's of 5.8pH nutrient water. I double the dose on nutrients compared to the start of this week. The leaves seem to be praying a bit, so she definitely ok now with the higher PPFD.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 15 She is loving the light right now. Leaves are pointing upwards nicely. Day 16 Love how she looks right now, I will probably remove the 2nd set of leaves tomorrow, allow those new lower nodes to receive full light so they can take off as well. Day 17 The coco had fully dried today, so I watered the pot, this time did a full soak, pushed 4 liter trough the pot. had a lot of run off, but afaik it should be fine in coco. I also removed the upper fan leaves, to give the lower nodes direct light, that is how I will try to get an even canopy this grow. Day 18 Those lower nodes are picking up in growing speed now that they get the direct light. 😍 Day 21 Lower nodes are developing nicely. The top fan leaves keep blowing up overnight, had to remove the new set already as they were already overshadowing the lower nodes. Day 19 The upper fan leaves had grown quite a bit over the past 2 days and they were shading the lower nodes a lot, so I removed these fan leaves as well. The lower nodes have grown a lot already though due to removing the previous fan leaves are already. Day 20 Figured it's been 3 days since the last watering so I watered her again today using 2.5 liters of nutrient mix.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 21 Noticed the first stigmas coming out of the bracts today! Day 22 She's looking great for now, I've watered her again with 2.5 liters, to get a decent run off. Day 23 Leaves are paying nicely. I removed the upper fan leaves again as those got big again already. Day 24 - Day 25 Seems like she has started to stretch already? She gained quite a bit of height since yesterday. Watered her again with 2.5 liters, might be a bit much because I get a ton of run off. Day 26 Removed the top most fan leaves again of the main stem. Side branches are starting to catch up nicely. Day 27 Gave another 2 liter feed today. She is growing quite a bit every day right now in height.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 28 She is definitely in her stretch era right now! Also seeing the first small pistils show up on the flowering sites. Day 29 It's crazy to see how much she grows in one day right now. Gave her another 2 liters of water today. Also removed a bit of the interior fan leaves that were blocking nodes from getting direct light. Day 30 - Day 31 Gave her 2.5 liter of water again, getting some decent run off. Day 32 - Day 33 Noticed that she is drinking quite a bit more now, the coco was already starting to dry. I gave her 2.5 liters again today again and also noticed I didn't get as much run off anymore, so I think I will have to up the feeding to 3 liters next time. Day 34 She is definitely drinking a lot now, feel like I could already water her again today. Also crazy to see how much she grew since yesterday, even with me trimming off fan leaves.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 35 She is drinking a lot, the pot was completely dry today. Guess I will have to start watering daily now to prevent the coco from drying out. Also did some more defoliating on the big main branches, they're getting quite tall and I can't move my light up much anymore, also wanna let the side branches catch up more. Day 36 Did another watering today with 3 liters, Gonna have to be doing this daily now as she is just drinking so much. Still seeing the stems grows quite a bit every day. Day 37 It's crazy how big this plant is, by far my biggest one so far, and only at day 37 already. Gave it another 3 liter feed. Day 38 Gave 3 liters of water again. Also noticed that on of the highest reaching branches, seems to have topped itself as there are 2 flower sites on the top of the branch Day 39 Gave her another 3 liters of nutrient water. Stretch is definitely over now...happy about that, she is more than big enough now for me. Day 40 Fed 3 liters of nutrient water again. Did another session of lollypopping, doing so bit by bit to come to a result I like. Will be trying to avoid popcorn buds this grow and only go for the more bulked up buds. Day 41 Another 3 liter feed today. Also cleaned up the bottom third of popcorn buds and minor branches a bit more.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 42 3 liter watering again. Day 43 Guess what!? 3 liter watering! Day 45 I checked the pH run off today and noticed it was 5.2 😦. I will water her tomorrow with a high pH to try and get that pH back up. Day 46 Gave it a "flush" with 6.3 pH water today, only brought the pH up to 5.3. Will do another flush tomorrow with 6.4 and bring it up slowly to 5.8. Day 47 Gave a 6.4 pH nutrient feed today, got the run off pH up to 5.4 now. Day 48 Gave another 6.4 pH feed, but seems like run off nutrient stayed the same 5.4 today. Will do a flush tomorrow again with just pH water and see if that helps.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 49 Did a flush today with 20 liters of water (I did put smaller amount of nutrients in the water as you don't wanna strip all the nutrients out of coco when flushing. Got pH back up to 6.0. overshot the target a bit, but that's fine. Will check run off pH again with the feed tomorrow. Day 50 Last days flush worked! run off pH today was 5.8, perfect! Starting to build down the grow amount in the nutrient feed from now on. Day 54 Been giving her 3 liters everyday but might have to give her more, barely getting any run off now. The buds are bulking up really nicely right now though. Day 55 Gave her a 6 liter feed today, first 3 liters with a lower nutrient amount to flush out the pot a bit. had to tie up some side branches to the bigger oens because the buds are getting to heavy for the thinner stems to carry.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 56 Watered with 3 liters and noticed the run off was 5.4 pH so gonna have to flush again tomorrow. Day 57 Did a flush today before I gave her the normal nutrients, the run off pH was 5.8 after flushing and feeding 👌 Day 58 The buds are really fattening up a lot suddenly, a lot of branches are starting to be too heavy for what the stems can hold, scared she might need support on some branches to not have them fall down. Day 62 I can't move the plant anymore, too risky, all of the side branches have become so heavy with nugs that they fall over so gotta be careful. Noticed she is drinking less, seems like we are in the bud ripening phase now.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 63 The flowers look beautiful right now, very frosty, very phat, branches can't properly support them anymore and the smell is amazing. Day 66 Noticed today that the pot was still pretty heavy after 24 hours, seems like she is drinking a lot less now. Hard to tell since when she started drinking less because I can't move her at this point, too risky with all the branches bending so far because the buds are so heavy and the stems can't stay up on their own. Day 67 Pot is still very heavy today so I'm gonna skip watering today. Day 68 Gave 3 liter light feed today, but noticed no run off now, while I was getting 1 liter run off when I was watering everyday, so might have to keep up the daily watering.

ChubbyBudBros - Day 70 Checked the trichomes today, there's a lot more cloudy ones, still a lot of clear ones as well though. But definitely getting close to harvest now. DIdn't need to water her today as the pot was still heavy, but I will start to flush tomorrow with just plain pH'd water. Day 71 Just gave 3 liters water today of plain pH'd water. The smell of the plant has become A LOT stronger suddenly.

ChubbyBudBros harvested on day 74. The buds were so heavy and dense that all side branches just flopped over.
