Weskmika Seedling Update – Transplant Day On 08.03, the plants were transplanted into larger pots to provide the root systems with more space for expansion and to support the next stage of vegetative growth. During transplant, mycorrhizae were applied directly to the root zone to promote beneficial fungal colonization and improve nutrient and water uptake. The plants have now developed several nodes and are continuing to establish themselves in the new medium. Growth appears generally healthy with good leaf color and compact structure. Over the next few days, watering will be monitored carefully to avoid over-saturation while the roots begin to explore the fresh soil. It is also noticeable that the plant phenotypes are not uniform. Some seedlings show differences in leaf structure, size, and growth rate. This suggests that the genetics may not be entirely stable, as the plants currently do not display consistent characteristics across the group. Environmental conditions will remain stable to minimize stress and allow the plants to recover smoothly from transplant. More updates soon.
