Seeds popped per paper towel method in 24 hrs. Planted shallow in 4” pots with roots OG soil with a large pinch of organic earthworm castings. They are 8 days old today. Water and DE only thus far and the plan is to have them moved outdoors before the solstice in roots Organics soil with a base of sun oils supersoil with added greensand.
Watering every 2-3 days until first traces of runoff. Roots growing through bottom of 4” containers will Plant soon, before solstice. Supersoil has gnats and I am pissed, nematodes added tonight, hopefully they will kill the gnats before planting or I will have to forgo the supersoil I won’t risk them on these girls. Growth has been great, stems look quite strong. The intensity of my lighting has kept them quite squatted as you can see. All plants look identical so far. More to come next week.
Today is day 17, Everything is looking good. Just wanted to update so I don’t forget stuff. Transplanted on Tuesday, watered with a worm casting molasses tea. Slightly overwatered, into 5 gal pots. Added some DE to the top of soil to deter any pests from reporting outdoors. They all recovered extremely well this is a very vigorous strain. Topped and stripped the fir in the smaller pot today she will stay inside the other two will go outside when they get a bit bigger. She is small but I believe she can handle the stress. I don’t have much vertical space inside and she is simply just gonna have to. Will update at the end of week 3.
Yes that is quite possible; I've had that happen to me before specially with LED lights that give very little heat. The internodal space is almost non existant and the leaves remain small.
Things are going well, noticed a tiny bit of copper browning to outer edge of a couple leaves so I added a bit of cal mg fast acting. Growth has been excellent, 10.5 and 12.5” tall. The girl I’m training I tied down too forcefully so there is some damage to top branches at the ode and some damage to a couple branches from being tied to tight. She is healthy. She will heal. Likely will move outdoors this week or next week into 25-30 gallon pots. See you all then thanks for stopping by.
Exciting week! Moved the ladies outside on Monday, first day of week 5. For a number of reasons, ask me if yo curious🙃. They’re doing great, some leaf issues, a bit of confused growth, but overall they have grown about 6” in four days so, Dey likey. And it’s been overcast and absolutely dumping rain for 3 days. Can’t wait to see the stretch when they dry out. So I may have triggered flowering by accident putting them outside in such overcast weather, time will tell. Either way I’d be happy if they do flower now so they won’t get 8 ft tall lol. They got lots a dirt. Sorry for the delayed update I’ve been quite busy. Cheers all. Grow your trees grow your soul. Always reach for the sun and all the other stars. The pics of the trained plant are the third one left inside my tent. She will be flowered soon.
Rain stopped, plants are different phenotypes as you can see one tall and lanky the other quite bushy. Sorry about the top down pics, but it’s all I can do for now. They appear pretty healthy things are moving along.
I’m 6 ft tall and she’s at my shoulder. The world is an amazing place. While I’d love to take all the credit, most is truly due to Barney’s. I haven’t even seen a flower yet but this plant is so strong, cheers. Straight up I’m keeping her forever. Oh, I’m cutting clones as tall as my arm. One will become a momma, but Barney’s I will be a customer for life.
Everything is going well, ladies are starting to throw much shorter nodes and look like they’re gonna flower soon. One is turning much lighter green but still growing, I’m wondering if I have a pH issue. They’re growing really tall, no training so my little Xmas trees Xmas in July!
Outdoor grown, had to harves early because of excess rain in september october. Got 1.5lb per plant. Bud is early, but flavor is very good. The plants were also 9 ft tall and had to come down. So sorry, no harvest pics.
@Cannibalgardens, I had to remount my light over top of my support poles on top of my tent to get it farther away, it is already bleaching out one of my colas haha
@Whitoutduty, thanks for the info, I will let you know if it was because they went outside on Monday and we have had over 6 inches of rain in the past few days lol. If we grow it they will come 👽🤟
Very nice looking so far! I have one growing myself in a 65 gal pot. I’d say she’s gonna really stretch! I find the node spacing is quite far apart so I’d say she’s gonna get big!
Can anyone tell me what nutrient (I’m assuming) issue is going on in the trained plant. The last pic from up top on the fan leaf right in the middle is a grey crunchy spot. Thanks for the help
@@Athos, that’s what I was thinking, it’s so hard to tell with these LED lights whether I’m a master grower or my lights are too intense sometimes, lol jk. Thank you so much for the response I am going to cut the lights back and see, really wish I had space for a full size tent. Happy growing.
Just added some pics from last night, day 21. One is a monster and I am shocked at her branch growth. One is tall, slightly over 8”. Took the smallest and trained her for a double manifold and will attempt to keep her inside. Everything is going well, I do hope she continues to prosper.
