The Sweet White Candy One

aldewo One lady is a bit further along than the other and has germinated super quickly. So far, there's only a little water from the spray bottle with adjusted pH. Both came to the surface on 2.3.26 and have shown their little heads. Everything is going well so far, and I'm very happy 🤗🥦

aldewo So far, everything is going great. I planted the little one deeper since it was stretching a bit. It's getting only a little ppfd because there's a hood over it, so it's a bit behind.

aldewo Today is VT31 Looks great and now it's growing quite fast. In 2 days, it will go into the big pot and into the flowering tent. But before that, it will be topped once more.

aldewo Today is VT 38 and everything is going great 👍🏼. The little one was transplanted into a bigger pot and topped 2 days later. As soon as the side branches are a bit longer, she will be planted in the final pot and sent into flowering.

aldewo So now the time has finally come and the little one is in the flowering tent and in the AutoPot system. I removed the two large leaves at the top so that the lower shoots get more light.

aldewo As you can see, she doesn't have a single deficiency anymore and she's doing really well. I defoliated a bit today so that the lower shoots get enough light. She's growing very bushy and evenly in height. So, I don't have to train the lady, which saves me work. So far, I'm very satisfied and surprised by this good genetics.

aldewo I'm mega happy with the strain 😊. For my taste, it has great growth with tight internode spacing. The only thing I've noticed is that it takes a few days longer to see the flowering onset.

aldewo Mega Strain 🤗, thanks again. We're now at BT28 and the flower formation is in full swing and already swelling quite nicely. The stretch is also over now, and starting next week, the lady will get some Bud Candy as well.

aldewo BT34 Right now I have a small Cal/Mag issue because my pH meter was off and needed to be recalibrated. I hope the lady stabilizes again and the deficiency doesn't get worse. I've also added a bit more Cal/Mag. Additionally, the first leaves are starting to purple, but this could also be due to the pH stress. Otherwise, I'm still very satisfied with the growth and the buds are swelling nicely.

aldewo Unfortunately, my lady doesn't look so good after the Cal/Mag issue, but I'm still very happy with the strain. The terps smell extremely sweet like candy 🍭 and I can't wait to try them.

aldewo So another week has passed and the buds are swelling more and more each week. In the meantime, the headbuds are becoming more round ? with slight foxtailing. I removed a few leaves from the top because they were very dry and no longer looked nice. The leaves in the lower area look great and show how beautiful they can be 🤩. Most of the trichomes are now milky and I think it will be ready to harvest in 3 weeks. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it’s not producing enough trichomes for washing, but I’ll still give it a try 🙈.

aldewo Today is flowering day 65 and unfortunately, she’s not quite done yet. The buds on top already smell really sweet 🍭 and would be ready. But the lower ones don’t have that scent yet and the hairs are still very light. Other than that, there’s hardly any change compared to last week.

aldewo Today is flower day 70 and I decided to harvest them since it's 31 degrees in the tent and it's not going to get any better in the next few days 😶‍🌫️. It was a total of 480g wet and the buds are rock hard 💪🏼😊. All the buds are now in the freezer and tomorrow is wash day. The headbuds are gigantic and completely covered in trichomes 😅. I have to say, during the harvest, I noticed that all the buds, whether top or bottom, have the same color trichomes. However, the top ones smell like candy 🍭 and the bottom ones smell like citrus 🍋. Pictures of the harvest and the washing will follow in the coming days.

aldewo I'm surprisingly satisfied, as the strain has proven to be quite a good washer (25 degrees in the apartment). The trichomes are very sandy with what seems to be a good return (but it's not completely dry yet). As soon as it's fully dry, I'll process it into rosin and share the pictures. 💪🏼 Thanks again to Dave 🙏🏼 Update I got 21.4g of bubble hash after 1 week of drying in the freezer with no frost. So in the end, it's a very good 4.5% return 💪🏼 With the 45 micron, I made a temple ball 🤗
