Tropicalsalt Hello everyone! I used to post here under @tropicalstorm, but I lost access to the account and the e-mail, so here I am again!! After many failed attempts growing organic outdoors, I decided to switch to indoor growing and had a looot of help from a friend who uses mineral fertilizers in his grow. I've been growing like that for a year with amazing results, and now I want to try my first small pheno hunt! I don't have much space so I can only do 3 big plants at a time, this is why I only started with 3 seeds. I don't mind if it takes two years to grow the whole pack, I just want exotic terps and a nice washer for extractions.

Tropicalsalt I had some problems with #1, she fell in the first week because the stem was too fragile. I increased EC, ppfd and turned the red light off, the stem got thick and everything was sorted. Not much to say

Tropicalsalt They are growing much faster now. I'm giving an ec of 2,4 mS/cm and I topped the oldest one, I will probably top the other two this weekend. Healthy plants, happy grower.

Tropicalsalt They are now in their luxury condo, a nice vase with 3.5 liters and a tall tent. All topped and growing nicely. They all have a chemical smell when I press the stem, the GMO grandmother probably helped in that.

Tropicalsalt Just finished up my automatic irrigation system and topped the 4 main branches on each. Now I will let then grow a bit in height, take clones and flip to flower.

Tropicalsalt Last week of veg! Today they started on the 12/12 schedule. Last night I took clones and pruned a few leaves, first photo is before and second after. #2 smells like DMT at the moment

Tropicalsalt First week of flower gone! They are streching nicely, I'm stacking up the EC to give a generative stimulus. Having trouble with the temperature, there's a heat wave going on and I dont have A/C...at least it's not mold! They are holding up nicely, I'm getting a humidifier to help out. Clones are stating to show roots and callus.

Tropicalsalt Hello everyone! Not much to say this week, the EC reached 5.5-6 mS/cm and I will keep watering less and increasing it. The goal is to end the stretch phase with something around 10-12 mS/cm to help stimulate flower growth. They will probably take 9-11 weeks to finish, still not many pistils.

Tropicalsalt Hi everyone! They finally started to look like they're flowering. #1 just started giving her first pistils, #2 and #3 are producing them like crazy now. I did one last major defoliation and now I'll stop. EC is increasing every day too. I'll keep them in the stretch phase for another two weeks. A faint chemical smell is starting to build up inside.

Tropicalsalt These plants are so tall!! My tent is 180cm in height and I had to bend every top because they are reaching the light...I need to start bulking them as soon as possible. I'm going away for the weekend but on sunday I'll switch the formula and start watering more, lowering EC, etc. Crop steering ftw! Probably will be my highest yield ever.

Tropicalsalt I finished the stretch phase with an EC of 12.8! And they didn't complain...maybe I can push further next time. Now I will lower the EC, water more and give them minimal stress so they can start bulking and fattening. #3 has a sweet funky fruity smell, #1 papaya and #2 still not much smell. I'm bending all the tops because they are reaching the light lol I flipped them when they were like 30 cm tall, I never thought they would more than triple in size, my tent is 180 cm in height!

Tropicalsalt Hi guys! Another week went by and we're getting closer to harvest, yay! #1 has small buds, long internodes and not much smell. But the buds are HARD, almost like a rock when you touch them. #2 is sweet and chemical, has tight internodes and I guess it will be the winner in yield. #3 is also sweet but funky, similar to #2 but a little smaller. I'm watering them a lot so bulking takes effect. See you next week

Tropicalsalt This week was their last of bulking. I have to harvest them in two weeks because I'll be away from home for a while. I think it'll give them enough time to finish anyway, pistils are turning brown and by lowering nitrogen and using crop steering I think they'll be ready soon! #3 is really really sweet, almost like Z. #2 smells like burnt plastic and #1 a bit chemical and sweet

Tropicalsalt Hello guys, we're almost at the end now! I forgot to update last week, so here it is. Lowering nitrogen and increasing the substrate's dryback made the plants finish a little faster, I will start to also lower EC this week until harvest day (saturday). #1: weak, fewer budsites and not a very great structure overall. The smell isn't that great either. #2: best structure, dense and covered in resin. Burnt plastic smell, kinda like DMT. #3: good structure and A LOT of resin. Very very sweet, candy like smell. I will probably run them all one more time as clones to see if they maintain that vitality again.
