Soldiermedic143 Hello all! I am still a beginner, although this is my third rotation. The first was a TOTAL disaster, the second was much better, and I could clearly see my mistakes. Sooo... this is week 7 and a half of the current grow, but there is a major caveat: The larger plants (Purple Punch) germinated within 10 days, while the smaller ones germinated 3 weeks later. Oh, all are from seed. My medium is 100% composted food, leaf, and sawdust that cooked for 4 months, and I only measure the pH for it. Anyway, I topped the tall ones this week, and their flowering cycle is set for March 22nd. I did buy a second tent with smaller grow light in the interim while I figure out what to do about the younger plants. Biggest accomplishment this week was controlling the gnats that weren't really bothering the plants, but were a major nuisance.

Soldiermedic143 After doing more re3ading and looking at some plants that shared some of the same symptoms as mine do, I added a dose of Vivosun Cal+Mag+Iron supplement to the base of the pots to be absorbed into the soil from below. 2 days in, there was a MAJOR improvement. So I will stay this course for another week, maybe increasing the blend, since I went on the low end of the saturation.

Soldiermedic143 I am feeling like I need a reset here. While the plants definitely responded well to the added nutrition, I don't see many signs of a need to progress to the flowering light adjustment. The one that looks like it wants to is an autoflower, the rest are feminized. They also have grown another 5 inches. Not sure what to do, so I am taking 3 hours of sunlight from them to see if and how they respond to that. Anyone got any other advice, I am here for it...but this is week 9.

Soldiermedic143 This should actually be week 11 I think. Had some home issues and didn't post. but I did do some defoliating for the first week, and a second trim today. I definitely underestimated the hardiness of my girls, they look like they will do just fine! Added some 2/15/15 nutrient to them this week, and they're still sucking up water like a sponge. I dropped the light to 70% as well, any other helpful information is absolutely welcome.

Soldiermedic143 Been defoliating these girls little by little. I think I am gonna dry the autoflower since It's already frosty and thicker than the others. Added more 2/15/15 to the pots for watering. I think next round I'm gonna try an autowater system, just for shiggles.

Soldiermedic143 I missed the last couple weeks, but here we are! They're REALLY bulking up off of the main stems, and the sugars on the leaves are looking very pronounced. I also defoliated much more, just kept some medium sized leaves around each bud. I am thinking another 1-2 weeks before I harvest, trim, and dry, so I think I'll start flushing. I did burn the leaves a bit as seen in the picture. Again, welcoming any guidance!
@GhostTerpZ, I left out the fact that when using homemade compost...nutrient burn is a pain to deal with. I have found that adding some regular backyard dirt to my mix helps, but it's definitely not an exact science.
