DerGrowdoc I'm delighted that the first seed germinated right away; that's a good sign. I'll start with some light now, not too much at first. It's an autoflower, so I'll probably keep the light cycle at 18/6 throughout. I'll top it later, as there isn't much space in my small growbox.

DerGrowdoc The plant is growing very nicely and has already developed two internodes. I'm slowly adding the first fertilizer; the BioBizz feeding schedule has proven very successful for me.

DerGrowdoc The plant seems to be having some problems at the moment, probably due to a nutrient deficiency in the BioBizz Light Mix. I've seen this before, and I've always managed to fix it. Next time I water it, I'll be a bit more generous with the calcium and magnesium.

DerGrowdoc The plant is currently growing quite quickly. The deficiency symptoms are mainly visible on the older leaves; the new shoots look almost completely healthy. A little more fertilizer, especially CalMag, and slightly reduced light levels seem to have helped. I'm confident this grow will be successful. I'll be topping the plant soon.

DerGrowdoc The plant is recovering well; signs of nutrient deficiency are barely visible anymore. I've topped it now and am using gentle low stress training to try and maximize the yield for the limited space in my grow box. Of course, with an autoflowering plant, my training options will be limited.

DerGrowdoc The plant continues to progress and has recovered well from last week's topping. Currently, the side shoots are being trained downwards. My goal with this training is to encourage the development of several equally sized buds, as far as that's possible in this small grow box. The deficiency symptoms are significantly reduced since I added some CalMag.

DerGrowdoc The plant experienced a tremendous growth spurt last week. It looks very healthy and currently shows no signs of nutrient deficiency. I've started thinning it out a bit and also removed a few shoots so that the plant's energy is mainly directed towards the main buds. I won't be changing much more now, as it's an autoflowering plant and it might even start flowering soon.

DerGrowdoc Perfect! That's exactly how I wanted the plant. For my mini grow box (40 x 40 cm), I've trained it optimally, in my opinion. It should now develop eight buds of roughly equal height. From now on, I'll more or less let the plant do its thing – no more training, just minimal pruning when necessary. I'm also pretty sure this autoflower will start flowering soon. I've noticed that this plant is a bit temperamental. I probably wouldn't recommend it for a complete beginner, although with only about two years of experience, I don't have a lot either, but that has helped me to react to the signs of deficiency in this plant. And the result looks very good so far. According to Spliff Seeds, the total time until harvest is about 10 weeks, so it needs to hurry a bit 😉

DerGrowdoc Perhaps a little late, but beautiful little flowers are now forming on the eight equally tall branches. Now begins one of the most enjoyable times of growing, in my opinion.

DerGrowdoc Everything is going according to plan. The flowers are developing beautifully and the plant is stretching nicely. I hope not too much, because it doesn't have much room left in this mini grow box 😅

DerGrowdoc All in all, the little diva is doing quite well; she has stretched a bit, and the buds are gaining density. However, signs of a nutrient deficiency are reappearing on some of the leaves. I suspect this might be a magnesium deficiency, so I have slightly increased the CalMag dosage once again. Our tap water is very low in calcium and magnesium. Otherwise, I remain optimistic; overall, the plant continues to thrive 😊

DerGrowdoc Well, the plant has been having significant issues again over the last few days. I’m fertilizing according to the BioBizz schedule and adding CalMag, yet there are still distinct changes in the leaves—meaning it isn't absorbing enough nutrients despite there being plenty available. I suspect the pot might have been too small after all? Or perhaps the roots got too dry or too wet at some point? The pH of the runoff was clearly too low at 5.6. I flushed it a little once and then went back to normal watering; the runoff was at 5.9 most recently. All in all, it’s been a difficult grow, though that’s likely due mostly to the very limited space, and the environmental conditions weren't ideal either. But the good news is that the buds are continuing to fill out nicely, and harvest isn't too far off. I think everything will turn out fine in the end 😊
