OGTerps Seeds were placed between moist paper towels and kept in a warm, dark place. After about 24–48 hours, the first taproots appeared. Once the roots reached a few millimeters in length, the seeds were carefully transferred into the substrate. Big thanks to @Perfect Tree Seeds for the seeds to grow, picked up at Mary Jane. 🌱 👊

OGTerps The first week went smoothly overall. The seedlings established themselves well and started developing their first true leaves. Growth was still slow, which is normal at this stage as the plants focus mostly on root development. Temperature stayed around 24–25 °C during lights on and about 20–21 °C at night, with humidity around 65–70%. This seemed to keep the seedlings comfortable and prevented any signs of stress. Light intensity was kept moderate to avoid stretching or light stress. Watering was minimal, just enough to keep the substrate slightly moist without overwatering. Roots should be starting to expand into the medium now. No nutrients were added yet (or only very light feeding depending on the substrate). Overall the plants look healthy: short internodes, nice green color, and no visible deficiencies. In the coming week I’ll gradually increase light intensity and start a very light nutrient regimen as they enter early vegetative growth.

OGTerps The plants are now firmly established and showing much faster growth compared to the previous weeks. Leaves are getting larger and the structure is becoming bushier with tighter node spacing. Color remains a healthy deep green, indicating that the plants are responding well to the current feeding schedule. During this week I performed the first topping to encourage a wider and more even canopy. The main stem was cut above the 4th node, which should allow the two side branches to take over as main tops. This technique should help create multiple main colas later during flowering. The plants handled the topping very well and showed no signs of stress after the cut. Growth resumed quickly within a couple of days. From this point on, the focus will be on shaping the canopy and promoting strong lateral branching. Environmental conditions stayed stable with temperatures around 25°C during lights on and about 21°C at night, with humidity around 65%. Light intensity was slightly increased this week to support the accelerating vegetative growth. Overall the plants look vigorous and healthy, and the next week will likely bring significant vertical and lateral expansion as they recover fully from topping.

OGTerps Week four showed strong and steady vegetative growth. After the topping performed last week, the plants have recovered well and are now developing multiple main shoots. The two new tops are growing vigorously and several side branches are starting to catch up, creating a fuller and more even canopy. The structure of the plants is becoming noticeably bushier, with healthy leaf development and tight node spacing. Light intensity was increased slightly again this week to support the faster growth, and the plants responded positively without signs of light stress. A bit of light training was started to help spread the branches and improve light penetration through the canopy. This should help future bud sites receive more light once flowering begins. Airflow through the plants is also improving as the canopy widens. Environmental conditions remained stable with temperatures around 24–26°C during lights on and about 20–21°C at night. Humidity was gradually lowered to around 60–65% to prepare the plants for the upcoming transition into flowering. Overall the plants look vigorous, well-shaped, and ready for continued training. If growth continues at this pace, they should soon be ready for the transition to the flowering stage.

OGTerps Growth continued to be strong during week five, with the plants developing a dense and well-structured canopy. The multiple tops created from earlier training are now growing evenly, and side branches are becoming thicker and more vigorous. This week I performed a bit of high stress training to further shape the plant. One of the stronger lower branches was removed and used as a cutting to create a clone. The cutting was trimmed and placed into a cloning medium in hopes of developing roots and continuing the genetics. In addition, I topped one of the upper branches on the top-left side of the plant to help balance the canopy and control vertical growth. This should encourage the plant to redirect energy into the surrounding branches and promote a more even distribution of future bud sites. The plants handled the pruning and topping well and showed no major signs of stress. Opening the structure slightly also improved airflow and allowed better light penetration into the middle of the plant. Environmental conditions remained stable with temperatures around 25°C during lights on and about 21°C at night, while humidity stayed around 60%. The plants appear healthy and vigorous, and the structure is developing nicely as preparation for the flowering stage continues.

OGTerps This week marked the transition from vegetative growth to the flowering stage. The light schedule was switched to 12/12 to initiate flowering. The plants have developed a strong and even canopy after the previous weeks of topping and training, which should help maximize light distribution during the upcoming stretch phase. During the first days after the flip the plants still continued their vegetative growth, but the initial signs of the flowering transition are starting to appear. Over the next couple of weeks a noticeable stretch is expected as the plants adjust to the new light cycle. Along with the light change, the nutrient regimen was slightly adjusted to support the flowering phase. A few bloom-oriented nutrients were introduced to increase the availability of phosphorus and potassium, while still maintaining enough nitrogen to support the stretch. Feeding levels were increased carefully to avoid overfeeding while the plants adapt to the new stage. Environmental conditions remained stable with temperatures around 24–25°C during lights on and about 19°C at night. Humidity was gradually reduced to around 58% to create a more suitable environment for early flower development. Overall the plants look healthy and vigorous, and the structure built during the vegetative phase should provide a good foundation for the flowering stage. The next couple of weeks will likely bring significant vertical growth and the first clear formation of flower sites.

OGTerps Week 1 Flower 🌸 This week I flipped the lights to 12/12, officially starting the flowering stage. The plants are still growing like they’re in veg, but the first signs of transition are starting to show. The canopy looks nice and even after the topping and training from the past weeks. I slightly adjusted the nutrients toward bloom while keeping some nitrogen for the stretch. Environment stayed stable at around 24–25°C lights on, 19°C at night, with humidity lowered to about 55%. So far the plants look healthy and vigorous. The stretch should really start over the next week or two, and I’m excited to see the first proper flower sites forming. 🌱

OGTerps Noticed some yellowing on a few leaves, likely due to a nutrient block or overwatering. I think it's a nutrient issue, maybe a lockout, preventing the plants from absorbing nutrients properly. I’ll check the pH and runoff tomorrow to make sure everything’s in balance. Also, I might be overwatering a bit, so I’ll make sure the soil dries out more between feeds. Hopefully, that’ll help correct it. EC at ~1,6.

OGTerps We’re officially in the third week of flowering 🌸and the plants are starting to stretch more. The buds are beginning to form, but they’re still in the early stages. The yellowing I was seeing last week has improved, likely due to a better watering routine and nutrient adjustments. The plants look healthier now, and the buds are starting to develop that frosty look. Ec ~ 1.6.

OGTerps Week 6 flowering for Peach Sherbert OG (Perfect Tree) is mid-bloom — buds are stacking up, getting denser, and starting to show solid resin development. The smell is coming through more clearly now, with sweet peach/sherbet notes and light OG fuel in the background. Pistils are still mostly white, so the plant is still building rather than finishing. This is a high-demand phase where stable conditions matter a lot, and the plant is actively focusing on bud size and structure. Had some light issues due to the PLUG. EC around ~1.8–2.0 is typical here (depending on your medium and how the plant is responding). Since my phone crashed and I lost the recent notes, I’m basically picking things back up from a solid mid-flower checkpoint.
